Allett ID Wallets w/ RFID Shielding REVIEW

Tired of a thick wallet. These are some of the thinnest around. Let's have a look

Dave Taylor here and I'm looking at these. These are the All-At thin wallets and the company advertises itself as the world's thinest wallets

And I got to say they're pretty thin wallets. This one actually has almost everything I carry with me. And you can see it is super thin

Now, they've done a lot of really interesting things from a design perspective, too, where the outside is a premium Napa leather, but the interior is nylon so that it actually wicks away sweat and stuff a little bit

So it's really good for the longevity of your cards. That's important

Also, most importantly, RFID blocking, really there's no reason to get a non-RFID blocking wallet at this point

Yeah, it might give you a little crinkle when you first get it, but that'll wear away over there

time and it works great. So let's start with this one. This is the leather ID wallet. You can see

this is the kind of wallet I really like because it's relatively small to start with. Now they have

taller ones, but why would you want such a big wallet? It sort of defeats the purpose of having

a thin wallet. So RFID blocking up to 12 cards. You can see there's two pockets on this side

and there's two pockets on this side, the front of which is actually a decisive

display unit obviously that where you going to put your driver license There is no space behind them So this is really what you see is what you get And then in the money compartment is nice because it actually divided So you can actually have cash on one side and then you can do like what I do and actually have some additional cards back there So it gives you up to 12 cards is what they say I mean obviously

you can stuff in as many cards as you want again kind of defeating the purpose. So if you carry

cards and you look at your wallet and you're like, hmm, I haven't used that for three months

Maybe you don't need it in your wallet. Go figure. So that's the leather ID wallet. Simple

straightforward, comes in three colors, black navy, and ox blood. We're an awesome color name

Oxblood. So, this is the black one. I'm going to let this one sit here. While we look at the

other one, the other one's actually also kind of fun. This is the Mule Outlook ID wallet. Why is it

the ID wallet? Because again, it has that little transparent pocket with a thumb push, so you can

actually get your ID out. That's pretty much where you are with this

There are no pockets on the front. There's no pocket above. There is, however, storage for this tiny little pen

that you can optionally pick up with this. And these pens cost you about 20 bucks on their website

But if you're the kind of person that's always complaining you don't have a pen with you

and maybe you don't have a purse to throw a pen into, then this actually is pretty cool

So you slip it in and it's still not really any thicker. It's definitely the pen designed for this wallet

And yes, you have the little slip or holder for it on either side

So you can choose your favorite. You can put up to six cards on this side

And then on this side, there's actually a little pull tab to make it easier to get your cards out

And it's kind of cool. Push it back in. You're good to go. And in the money compartment there no divider So it just one space for the money So this is even a slimmer wallet It a little bit well I guess it the same height You think it would be taller But what they did is instead of having the slot for the second card they have the pen storage So is this pen what you going to use to write your next great novel Probably not But if you need to jot down a note and it a crisis this can be very helpful So take those out and you can see I have maybe three

two or three cards in each one, and they are still crazy thin

They both have money in them. This is the one that's going to end up back in my pocket when we're done with this

I like them both a lot. And again, back to this one, RFID blocking, up to 12 cards, the pull tab underneath the sort of license display compartment

And this is a vegetable tanned leather, and it's leather throughout, so they're not doing that whole neat trick of having nylon

Well, no, actually, I think it is nylon on the inside. It's just black nylon, so it's much more subtle than this one, which is a gray nylon

So, my bad, this is leather outside, nylon interior, just like this one, both very cool

And this is also water resistant. I guess they're all kind of water resistant, but seriously, you don't want to go for a swim with your wallet in your pocket

It's just not going to end well. So, really, all this left to talk about is the price

This is the leather ID wallet with multi and separated money compartment And this is at all at black navy or oxblood

And then this one is a little more spendy. This is the Mule Lookout ID wallet

And it does not have any separation for your money, but it does offer you the ability to store this cool little pen, right

And this one comes in black, tan, or ox blood. You can get it in full nylon or with the leather exterior facing

And it's $75 at all at dot com. The pen, I don't understand when I got my set from these guys to review

The pen didn't have a price indicated, but when I went on the site, it said they're $20

So maybe they're running a promo that if you buy a wallet that includes space for the little mini pen that comes for free

Otherwise, you'll have to pick this up for $20, or you can find a pen somewhere else that will fit

Or I suppose you could put a stylus in here if you had a little tiny stylus or you wanted an extra one for reasons I cannot comprehend

In any case, these are really nice wallets. They are super thin, which is obviously their big thing

But I really also am intrigued by the nylon interior leather exterior

That seems like a really great pairing. And I'm a fan. This will be my wallet in my pocket in about $5
