This is a pretty interesting gizmo. So this is a massage chair you saw on that opening shot

It's actually very attractive. It has this sort of beige brown fabric and has a nice wood finish on the

the arms and it's a rocking chair though it's not much of a rocking chair I don't

get much rocking out of it but much more importantly is it's a massage chair and

there are massage units behind your neck all along your back and there's even some

stuff going on on the seat itself so the back offers a full back massage with

six rollers which gives you a Shia Tzu massage there's also a separate neck

unit there are three kneading levels my favorite will come back to that, three tapping levels, it vibrates and there's a built-in heating system. And all of this is

managed by this handheld controller. Now, I have to say the handheld controller is a little

hard to read, so I'm going to give you a close-up, and I'll give you a quick tour of all the

different buttons. But right now, let's go ahead and just use it. So I power up, and that's just

you push the power button, and now it's ready to go, or ready to roll, as the case may be

So I have neck going on. I have my back being massaged

I said that before, but it seems to be a really sort of calming of the rollers going up

So it's a wired and it needs to be plugged into the wall. There's a little pocket on the side here, so you can put the control in there, which is nice

And then the bottom part actually lifts up a little bit. So I guess if you're not particularly tall, that gives you a nice footrest

For my height, it's actually more comfortable to just have it tilted down like this

And it's a pretty easy assembly. It comes in two different wood colors, but the main unit is the same on both

and has a max capacity of 330 pounds, so you probably don't want to be having three grandkids

sitting on your lap while you're in this thing without something bad happening. But if something bad does happen

it does have a 10-year warranty. It's a really interesting experience for me

Now, that probably doesn't sound like that big a deal. And if you get one of those big monstrosity massage chairs, it's obviously the same

But they really could have designed this where everything just pulls away and then you just have a comfortable chair

And then when you want the massage, everything comes back into place and does all the massage

And they didn't. And that's important for you to know because this is a big piece of furniture that's going to take up space as it does in my

living room but you know no one's going to sit on this just to read a book or

something if you're not getting a massage it's just taking up space and that's

really disappointing because it's really a nice massage chair I really like it

and it's certainly very comfortable and I use it probably I don't know

probably daily if not more so but I really wish that when I wasn't using it that

I could also just relax in it now I will also say that you can moderate it can get

pretty intense so you can moderate that by having one or more pillows and that just gives you a little bit more padding between all the rollers and your body

So generally speaking, we have a pillow or two on this and that seems to make it a little more

comfortable for people. But that's something you can do and try out for yourself. Generally

though, this is a pretty good deal. As long as you can accept the limitation that like right now

I sitting in it and it off and it not very comfortable There like stuff sticking into my back and stuff sticking into my neck and that does not make this the most calm and relaxing of chairs in the house But if I turn on the button and we get that rolling literally rolling then it suddenly is the most you know best chair in the house and everyone wants to sit in it
