It's a fitness tracker that shows you the current time, steps taken, heart rate, blood pressure and can even measure your ECG while also showing notifications of phone calls and text messages from your smartphone. And all that for way less than you'd expect to pay! Tech expert Dave Taylor of https://www.AskDaveTaylor.com/ reviews the MorePro Fitness Tracker V19 and finds that there's really quite a lot to like about this simple, but surprisingly capable little device. It would also be a great smart fitness monitor for kids or grandparents too, with its once/week charge requirements. Check it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3bK9YCi

It's a fitness band and smart notifications watch
0:03
Let's check this out. Dave Taylor here, and oh, hang on
0:14
So whether you actually are super into fitness and workout all the time
0:20
or just wanna keep track of the number of steps you take in a day, let me put my iPods away
0:25
you are gonna be really interested in this MorePro Fitness Tracker. It actually is incredibly inexpensive
0:33
and it gives you a lot of the features of really fancy, expensive smartwatches
0:38
like the Apple Watch. So what can it do? Well, to show you, I'm gonna have to switch things around
0:45
So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna show you my wrist, and then we'll talk through all the different features
0:51
and what it can do. But before we get there, let me just tell you real quick
0:55
that it has a pedometer, heart rate, blood pressure, sleep monitor, blood oxygen saturation, ECG
1:03
It has HRV, heart rate variability, all of this stuff, and it gives you notifications off your phone
1:10
and it can remote trigger your camera. There's a lot this thing is doing
1:15
Now, it does have a companion app, so I'll show you that too
1:19
Great, let's look at my wrist. All right, so let's start with time
1:23
and then you basically push the sensor and it gives you steps
1:28
Heart rate, and I can just wait a second and it will give me my heart rate
1:35
That's pretty high, because I'm at an awkward position and I just worked out
1:39
Blood pressure, again, just give it a couple of seconds and it'll calculate your blood pressure
1:46
There we go. And next up is sleep. How did I do last night
1:51
Not too bad. And then this is your blood oxygen saturation level
1:58
and you want it to be somewhere around 95% or more. So 98%, I'm in solid shape
2:06
Then you can actually specify which exercise you want. Oh, notification came in
2:12
Let's just keep looking. Time, go back, get to where we were
2:17
So we were here. You can also do ECG, right? Electrocardiogram, and this is gonna give us data
2:25
where this is more interesting. Oops, I have to actually get there and then hold my finger on there
2:30
And I'm gonna just jump to the end, because you have to hold it for 30 seconds
2:39
But it's really on my phone that I'm gonna see more interesting data
2:45
Basically, you get this screen, your health screen, and it shows you all this different data
2:52
and then you can pick one. And I can go and see yesterday's steps
2:58
which was a little better than today. Let's see. So I did pretty well yesterday, and I can look at steps
3:14
And that's yesterday, here's today. I can look at my sleep. Yesterday was actually not bad, quality, good
3:23
Total duration, six hours, 10 minutes of sleep. So all of this, all works in the app
3:29
It's all saved, it's all super easy to work with. Here's my heart rate over time
3:34
So you can see that there are times during the day when my heart rate is elevated
3:39
usually when I'm working out. And then there are times during the day when my heart rate is lower
3:44
when I'm usually just sitting or resting. So there's just a lot of really neat things
3:49
that this thing can do. So let me jump on camera. There's a lot this thing can do
3:54
I'm actually pretty darn impressed with it. And you know, even if it has like a 10% error rate
4:00
on all of these numbers, it's data. And it still is enough that it can give you a warning
4:05
saying your blood oxygen level is super low, or your heart rate's super high when you're resting
4:11
These are issues you wanna look at more closely. Now, what I didn't talk about
4:15
is I didn't talk about charging. And this is also a really slick bit of design
4:20
So this is your typical sort of rubbery band, nothing that's super comfortable
4:25
But it turns out it just pops off the watch. If I can figure out how to do that
4:29
Let's see. There we go. And so one side, it's just the tab
4:37
And then the other side, you pop it off. And this is how you charge it
4:42
Let me give you a closeup. That's a USB tab. So any USB 3 or USB-A rectangular charger
4:51
you can put this into your computer, to a wall charger, whatever, and it will charge up again
4:57
And this lasts seven days on a charge. So one of the things that I really don't like
5:01
about the Apple Watch is that you've gotta charge that all the time
5:05
And I'm not a big fan. This thing is, honestly, in my experience
5:08
seven to 10 days, it works just fine. And it's vibrating, there's all sorts of stuff going on
5:14
It doesn't like being in this position by itself, off of my wrist
5:18
But nonetheless, it is actually a great way for you to see everything that's going on here
5:23
So let me reassemble this. And you just go ahead and put the band right back on
5:29
And you can buy replacement bands if your band gets all yicky or something
5:34
And there it is, all ready to go again. I'll just put it on my wrist. And you wanna wear these pretty snug
5:41
because you need to have those sensors right up against your wrist
5:45
So let me do maybe one more stop. And there we go, that looks good
5:51
So there we have the time, and everything's all working great. So, only thing left to talk about is the price
5:57
and I guarantee you're gonna be surprised by the price. But before we get to the price
6:01
I'm gonna ask, if you don't mind, go ahead and click on that subscribe button
6:05
It's on the lower right, and it really helps me out. And it'll give you a chance to see
6:09
so many more of my reviews. I publish a lot of consumer electronics reviews
6:13
because I get a lot of gadgets, and I give you the straight scoop on all of them
6:18
All right, this is the MorePro Fitness Tracker, and it comes in black, or purple, or blue
6:26
And purple's really cool, I wish they would've sent me the purple. But, so it goes
6:31
And it's $39.99, and right now, there's a 20% discount, making it $31.99 at amazon.com
6:40
That is pretty hard to beat. For 32 bucks, you can get this
6:44
and it's your watch, it's your notifications, but much more importantly, it can track all of your physical parameters
6:50
and give you a good sense of whether you're sleeping well, whether you actually are getting enough steps in
6:56
on a daily basis, how your heart's doing. And of course, this could be great for grandma or grandpa
7:02
this could be great for your kids, and at this price, if your kids break it
7:06
eh, get another one, whatever. Way, way more easy to manage than something like an Apple Watch
7:12
Great, so I'm gonna go back, I need to accumulate some more steps today
7:17
So I'll catch you in my next video. So I'll catch you in my next video
