Tracking my finances is one of the best decisions I've made in recent times
0:04
So with this spreadsheet, I can track my income, my spending, my debts, and also my savings
0:11
So this tracking helps me to make data-driven financial decisions. If I want to record anything, let's say for income, I can just hover on this one
0:19
and click income here, or I can just click at the income tab here
0:24
So here in this table, that's where I can enter my income. So let's say for September, you can just pick September here and put my income there
0:32
Then if I have another type of income, you can just select the month and put it there and select the category and put the amount
0:41
So this will reflect here. So you can see this one is for September here
0:46
And also they'll be added to this chart there. Then when you scroll down here, you're able to see this is the income for Augustine Green and this is the income for September
0:56
When you scroll down further, you're able to see the summary from here and also the categories from here
1:02
This one shows you the income, spending and the balance in each of the months
1:06
When you go back to the dashboard, you can see the changes here. And this will show you the summary of your best month, your biggest form of income, your income this month and the income all year
1:18
The same is true if you go to spending and here you can enter a spending
1:22
I'll just enter one for an example. So you pick the month here, then you can choose the category, and you can put the amount
1:30
So this will be reflected there, and it will also be added to this chart
1:34
And when you scroll down, you're able to see here, and it's also added there
1:38
Here you can change the month to see the summary just for the month So if we choose September you able to see we only have which is only expenses and when we go back to our dashboard for spending you able to see september is here and you also
1:55
see the expenses oh yeah the month the highest spending where most of your spending is going to
2:01
and you're spending this month when you go to dates here in this table you can put all your
2:07
debts so here we can choose the debt by double clicking there then i'll just put the description
2:12
here then on the type you choose whether it's a loan a personal debt credit card student loan
2:18
mortgage and so on just choose personal and here you put the amount if you have paid back a debt
2:24
you can go to this table you choose the debt so let's say i paid on 30th i paid james and this was
2:30
a personal loan and i paid 500. so this will show you the total debts that you have paid and this
2:36
will show you the dates that you have not paid for each of the categories here you can see how much
2:41
debt you got how much you have paid and how much you have not paid and lastly for investment you
2:47
can also use this table so just choose the month here let's say i bought microsoft shares then here
2:54
you can choose the category so to stock for this one and put the price let's say 1000 and you can
3:00
see our graphs updates accordingly this one will show us the investment or savings by type and most
3:06
of our investment is in stocks and these two tables will show us the summary per month and
3:11
the summary by category when you go back to the dashboard all this information is reflected
3:16
accordingly and you are able to see how your finances are doing this makes it very very easy
3:22
