The x-intercepts are obtained from the graph and used as zeros to write the polynomial in factored form. The multiplicity of the zeros is determined by the shape of the graph around the x-intercept, whether the graph cuts or touches the x-axis. The y-intercepts are used to find the leading coefficient of the polynomial.
