Meet Your Muse | Plant the Garden Even If It Doesn’t Bloom Yet (8/01 pt 2)
Aug 2, 2026
We're taking Meet Your Muse outside today.
This morning's conversation actually started inside, but when a friend needed a little encouragement to get outside and take a walk, we changed the plan. I grabbed the canvas, moved into the backyard, and turned our morning into something different.
Because sometimes helping somebody else shift their perspective shifts ours, too.
I share one of my own morning rituals: a simple two-minute reset where I walk the perimeter of my yard before going live. I notice what's growing, what's changed, what still needs work, and what I've already built.
It's less about checking the property and more about reminding myself:
Look how far you've come.
In this conversation we explore:
Using a two-minute visual reset to shift your perspective
Going outside and intentionally noticing what's around you
Stopping to actually smell the flowers
Seeing progress instead of only what's unfinished
Dreaming about the spaces and lives we want to build
Appreciating what we already have while still dreaming bigger
