FAST FORWARD TO 1:15:16 for our chat with @ChickenCoopUniverse about their comic!!! ☕ Welcome to Free-for-All Friday — a café/studio session where the whole point is to try something, play around, share what we're creating, and see what happens when we give ourselves permission to make without needing a perfect plan. Today we're starting with an old sketch, a blank canvas, some Mod Podge, scraps collected along the way, hearts, paint, and absolutely no final vision. We revisit an older piece called Abandonment and the poem that eventually changed its meaning, talk about how our stories can grow with us, and turn another old sketch into the beginning of something completely new. Then the fluid paint comes out. We layer. We experiment. We make a mess. We change our minds. We rescue hearts from oceans of paint. We let the artwork tell us where it wants to go. Because sometimes creating isn't about knowing exactly what you're making. Sometimes it's just about making the first mark.
