Poori or Puri is Indian Fry bread. This Indian Fried bread is a favorite for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is also a must in wedding feasts. Though it is deep fried, it is difficult to resist the temptation to have it. Poori is irresistible. Ingredients needed are few. Poori is served with different kinds of subzi or curry. But it goes best with potato subzi or curry. It is also served chole/chana masala.

This poori is made with whole wheat flour. You may also make poori with maida/white flour/plain flour.

Rava/Sooji - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp to mix.
