Gulamba, green mango relish or green mango jam is a very easy recipe. Make once and enjoy for months. Gulamba is gul(jaggery)+Amba(mango). When sugar is added it is known as Sakharamba. Gulamba as well as sakharamba goes well with chapati, poori, bread etc.

==Ingredients for gulamba==
Raw mango – 2 cups, washed, peeled, chopped in thin slices or grated
Water – ½ cup
Salt (optional) – a pinch
Jaggery – 1 to 2 cups, as per taste and the sourness of mango
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Clove or cinnamon or nutmeg powder may be added.
