and today I'm covering them up. I probably have like $25,000 worth of tattoos on me

I don't know how I'm gonna recognize myself. Dude, it's ridiculous. This is crazy already in there

About 98% of my body is covered in tattoos. Today, we are going to cover everything

I was very insecure. Through the tattooing, it's definitely allowed me to find who I am

I think I'll really dislike it, but let's freaking do this. Today, a makeup artist is coming to my house and we're going to surprise my family by covering up all my tattoos

I currently have probably 247 tattoos covering my entire body. It became an addiction for me

Probably about 80% of my body is covered in tattoos. I just like that I'm unapologetically me

I have power over what I look like. Today, I'm covering up all my tattoos

I had 3% kidney function. They were telling me they could fail at any moment

I always wanted to have my head face, everything done. but that was just the push that made it possible

This is gonna be the first time I've seen myself without tattoos for at least 20 years

98% of my body is covered in tattoos. You know how much I hate tattoos

My mother's never really liked my look. The only thing I ask is to not touch your face

Even when I run out of room, I would still get something. The judgment on my tattoos that I get a lot

you'll hear someone whisper like, can you see his face, type thing. I'm used to all the above

Did it hurt? I think I get that question asked every day. I don't know how to answer that, like

Today I'm getting my tattoos covered up. Crazy. It's been about 14 years until I see myself without tattoos

I can't remember how that feels. I don't know how I'm going to recognize myself or others

and it just was exhilarating. And not only that, the pain tolerance was phenomenal

My first tattoo was a bear with a sailor's hat when I was getting ready to go in the Navy

And it was located on my chest, and that was in 1990. I started tattooing my face probably 12 years ago

And I started off, like I said, with a mouthpiece as a joke

And then I just continued to go. So I have the teeth here I have my wife name Maria here My son Frank name here my son Junior here this is my daughter kiss and these are Jayden footprints when he was newborn

Now I'm gonna start the color correcting process. I'm gonna start doing his arms first

and then I'm gonna do with his face. What product are you using on me now

So we're using the EBA color corrector in the shade Coral just to take out any of the blue

with the black lines in your tattoos. I get judged a lot

I got a lot of negative comments about my tattoos. People call me a monster or how disgusting it is

or why would you do something like that to yourself? And everybody has their own opinion

of what they can think of me. You know what I mean? I take care of my family

I'm a good father and I'm just normal. I'm just like you. Just because I have tattoos doesn't make me a different person

But after we're done with this, we're going to reveal this to my wife and my kids. My children love it

Plus, they don't know anything else. They were all born. I mean, when they were all born, I already looked like this

I'd always wanted it to be covered ever since I was a small child

I'd seen the old guys on the bus while I'd love it on the knuckles

And I'd always wanted it to be coated, but my mother was deadly against it

She said, not until you're 18 And then I fell out of her about a month before my birthday

But I look after myself, I work out as much as I can and I eat really well and just do everything I can to keep it strong

I never liked my reflection in the mirror too much. I didn't, I always wanted to hide

First face one was that crown with a skull there on the right side

The ears, I've got all the tablets, which is meant to do with the kind of medication I take

I've got the evil woman screaming into my ear. She's meant to be like depression, really

More than anything, everyone has kind of bad times. All these gaps up on the face are all gaps as far as I'm concerned

It's all going to be filled out eventually. I'm going to get my tattoos covered today

I am a little apprehensive about getting my tattoos covered. These are my safety blanket

Some people online say they're my whole personality. So I definitely don't know how I'm going to feel once they're covered

So far, I've spent over $97,000 on my tattoos. I will say it's been a journey to get here, but I feel incredible about the way I look now
