What do you think about Chicago now that they are set in that second overall pick
0:04
And on third, where do you see Chicago going with their pick
0:08
Because there are quite a few different guys they could go after. Yeah, they've got a really interesting
0:16
set of options ahead of them because they don't have the, you know, the choice taken from them
0:22
There's there's a lot of different guys who could be second overall. I think the favorite or at least our favorite is Ivan Demidov
0:30
He's just he's too good. That is such a skilled player. He's such a skilled kid
0:36
You put him beside someone like Bedard. Like you're going places. Yeah, but maybe they could use some defense, especially on the right side
0:46
They've got Kevin Korchinski. It's a great left handed defenseman. What about putting him beside someone like Artem Levshunov
0:53
That's not a bad pick either. So I would probably lean between those two guys
0:57
but I could also see them taking Caden Lindstrom for some of the toughness
1:02
I could see them going for someone like our Anton Selyaev just for that size
1:08
It's really tough to pass up, especially when you combine it with all of his his skill and his ability to shut down
1:16
So I think they'd go Demidov, just really build up that forward core
1:22
But they have lots of really good options. Yeah, and Anaheim, we'll stop here
1:27
We're not going to go through the whole 16. But Peter, where do you think Anaheim would go with that
1:32
I mean, they're getting the, you know, last year, they had the second overall pick and went with Carlson
1:39
And now they have so many forwards, really good forward depth. Do they go for a defenseman
1:46
Because there's going to be, I mean, if Chagall goes with Demidov, then they've got the pick of the litter of all the best defensemen in this draft
1:53
And there's a lot of them. Do you see Anaheim going for defense? I mean, their defense for prospects is pretty good, too
2:01
I don't know. Where do you see them going? I mean, you basically said it right there
2:06
Yeah, they got a ton of forward depth. I mean, obviously, the addition of Cutter Goethe just makes him that much more deep
2:12
Obviously, I really love the Leo Carlson selection. I was a big fan of his, but I kind of would have thought that would have gone
2:17
Adam Fantilli. But, you know, things happen. That's the whole beauty of the NHL draft
2:23
You know, players can move up. They can move down. You would think that they're pretty much set on defense as well with, you know
2:31
the likes of Pavel Mintykov. You know, they have Olin Zellweger. You know, you got depth
2:37
You got depth players like Tristan Luneau, Noah Warren. You know, they have a lot of great, talented players on the back end
2:46
And, you know, you can, whatever happens, it's going to be based on what Chicago does
2:52
If they take Ivan Demidov, then I 100 percent, not 100 percent, but I would think that Arlem
2:58
Lushunov probably would be a really good, decent right-handed option, because I would
3:02
have to go back and look at the handedness. But I think Luneau and Olin Zellweger are the only two right-handed shots, if I'm not mistaken
3:12
No, so Olin Zellweger is a left shot. So this would bode well for them
3:19
They have a really solid one in Tristan Luneau, but you could have Arlem Lushunov as that
3:23
top pairing defender, a player that could do it all. And, you know, I was a little hesitant on his play at first, but he really took storm
3:29
during this final stretch and NCAA playoffs, really showing that he can be a top three pick
3:36
And if he falls into the Anaheim Ducks' lap, again, kind of like up front with Kadagoche
3:42
they would have an abundance of riches on the back end. So it's all going to be dependent on what happens with Chicago
3:49
But if Chicago takes Demidov, then Lushunov 100 percent. If not, then I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind taking Demidov
