I am a Geriatric Oncologist. Fellowships in geriatrics and oncology at UCLA. Since 2013, I have cared for many older patients with cancer, presented and published extensively in this field. My aim: Reach a broader group of older individuals facing cancer, their loved ones, and those with unanswered questions about cancer care in older age. A significant gap exists between the aging population and the number of geriatricians, especially those specializing in cancer care for older adults.
