welcome back to geek set rewind or recap
0:10
re-watch show that we are doing and we
0:13
are embarking on a new show we are we
0:16
are jumping back into some Marvel and we
0:19
are recapping and reviewing secret
0:21
Invasion now and we do some Marvel stuff
0:24
again I know we've been doing a lot of
0:26
stuff for you know what I'm saying I
0:28
mean about time Marvel had something new
0:30
weekly for us to do that is true that is
0:32
true and um you know of giving y'all a
0:34
heads up right now we're going to be
0:36
recapping episode one and two
0:38
um because we was a little bit late till
0:39
one and everything like that so this
0:41
one's going to be one and two and then
0:42
moving forward we'll get back to the
0:43
regular episodes and everything so for
0:45
this one I will read both synopsis and
0:48
then we'll just break them down that way
0:50
we can go into it and we and the way
0:51
we're going to talk about it let's just
0:53
talk about episode one and two as if it
0:54
was one episode yeah so that way we
0:56
don't got to be like oh on this episode
0:57
where we don't know that we're like we
0:58
can just kind of go back and everything
0:59
all right so in Moscow Talos pursues
1:03
Everett Ross for oh let me move this
1:05
okay
1:07
foreign
1:12
pursues Everett Ross for killing CIA
1:15
agent Prescott who theorized that
1:17
shape-shifting scroll Rebels frustrated
1:20
with the lack of progress of Talos and
1:21
Nick Fury is finding them a new home
1:23
intend to incite a war between Russia
1:26
and the United States in order to take
1:28
over Earth Maria Hill arrives to assist
1:30
Ross and discovers that he is a scroll
1:32
in Disguise he'll cause Fury who has
1:34
been working in space following the blip
1:36
returning to Earth Fury learns that
1:38
Talos has been exiled from the scroll
1:40
community and replaced by gravic who was
1:42
leading the rebels Furious kidnapped by
1:45
M16 MI6 MI6 not M16 MI6 agents working
1:50
for his old acquaintance Sonia fosworth
1:52
who refuses to work with Fury to stop
1:54
graphic using a bug to eavesdrop on her
1:57
and the UK prime minister Ferry and
1:59
Talos locate another Rebel who has
2:01
provided dirty bombs to the rebels one
2:03
of these Rebels is talos's daughter how
2:06
do you pronounce her name is
2:11
unaware that her mother son has been
2:13
killed by the rebels Gaia reveals the
2:16
rebels plan to attack
2:18
vasanidine Square that's how you I don't
2:20
know how to pronounce that died okay
2:23
vasnodyne Square on Unity day Fury Hill
2:26
and tylos attempt to intercept the bombs
2:28
were unable to stop grabbing from
2:29
detonating them and then suing chaos
2:32
graphic decides him disguised himself as
2:34
Fury and kills Hill so that's the for uh
2:38
episode one here goes the episode two in
2:41
1997 Fury meets a young graphic and
2:44
consoles with him while giving a speech
2:46
to CERN and the scroll immigrants
2:48
promising to find them a new home in the
2:51
present day after escaping the bomb
2:52
attack Fury learns from Talos that there
2:55
are a million Scrolls living on Earth
2:56
amongst the humans in Anger for read
2:59
Parts waves with Talos and letters meet
3:01
with Hill's mother Elizabeth to explain
3:03
the circumstances of her death as the
3:05
United States is implicated in the
3:07
bombing attack gravitt meets with
3:08
members of scroll Council who expressed
3:11
dispute disapproval of his actions
3:13
graphic reminds the Council of Fury's
3:15
failure to deliver on his promise and
3:17
appoints himself the new squirrel
3:18
General with the majority in favor
3:20
council member Shirley Sagar who refuses
3:23
to submit is allowed to leave unharmed
3:25
secretly contacts Talos who asked her to
3:27
set up a meeting between him and graphic
3:29
in London Fury meets with Colonel James
3:31
Rose [ __ ] that [ __ ] right now and
3:33
explains to him scroll threat to fairies
3:36
dismay Rhodes uh gives him a military
3:39
discharge due to his present at the
3:41
bombing attack which escalated the
3:43
tension between the United States and
3:44
other International governments
3:46
fallsworth arrives at a butcher shop
3:48
where the scroll Brogan is imprisoned
3:50
after his safe house was found she
3:53
interrogates him while cutting his thumb
3:54
and using an injection that warms his
3:57
body she learns that graphic is building
3:59
a machine for the purpose of
4:00
strengthening the Scrolls and a
4:02
scientist couple named Dalton is
4:04
involved wait a scientist couple name
4:07
their boat name was Dalton last names oh
4:10
okay all right the way they said it that
4:11
blew me off right Gaia secretly
4:13
discovers that the scrolls are
4:15
experimenting on various alien samples
4:17
like group the frost Beast uh Cole
4:20
obsidian and an extremist paint and
4:23
extremist patient afterwards she
4:25
accompanies graphic on a mission to
4:27
rescue Brogan as false worth escapes
4:29
suspecting him as having a talk grab a
4:32
cash Pro uh Brogan is a bragging or
4:34
broken I've been saying broken I'm
4:35
pretty sure it's broken okay Brogan put
4:37
out of his Mysteries by Pagan before
4:39
they can reach their compound later Fury
4:41
returns to his home where he's greeted
4:43
with his wife Priscilla who is secretly
4:45
a scroll
4:46
so he doesn't know
4:48
I don't think he I think he knows it
4:50
says it says I think she I think
4:52
secretly is for everybody okay all right
4:54
so
4:55
let's break first you're not gonna tell
4:57
me
4:59
because now now he lost all credibility
5:00
just [ __ ] don't know his own wife is a
5:02
scroll well no that's not what he was
5:04
saying to help them and he'll be Noah
5:06
Nick Fury is just learning this so we
5:09
got to give him some Grace bro 30 years
5:11
in the game no but he's just learning
5:13
about the scroll Invasion yeah because
5:15
remember if he only thought it was like
5:16
a couple hundred yeah
5:18
he knows a million
5:21
you don't know when he got married
5:23
first first first reaction to it now
5:26
let's episode one and episode two
5:29
um again we talked about Marvel Evans
5:30
giving us a show in a wild really you
5:32
know what I'm saying it's a breakdown
5:33
and everything how are you guys feeling
5:36
about the start of secret Invasion so
5:38
far [ __ ] it's tense it is yeah I mean I
5:40
like it's a different it's I was saying
5:42
that somebody else that I really liked
5:43
that Marvel was really
5:45
um
5:46
jumping out of them you know they're out
5:47
of the box when it comes to all their
5:48
shows like everything like when it comes
5:50
to the shows there isn't a same like the
5:52
shows are the same yeah and I've like we
5:55
now we are in Espionage and which I love
5:57
that's what I love spy Espionage like in
6:00
general I mean I love the mission
6:02
Impossibles 007 The Bourne series like I
6:04
love spy Espionage and it's one of the
6:07
reasons why I love Captain uh Captain
6:09
America his series and his movies
6:11
because you know it deals so much with
6:13
that right and so this jumping back into
6:16
it because I'm like I'm excited because
6:19
I love that and then adding the uh the
6:22
alien aspect of Espionage to it like
6:24
yeah I liked it again and then they
6:26
started off immediately well not
6:29
immediately but like to kill off a main
6:31
character that's been in the Marvel
6:32
since day one yeah she I didn't expect
6:37
her to die I mean like even she would if
6:39
you would have said yo she's gonna die I
6:42
wouldn't have expected to be at the end
6:43
of episode one like that's right
6:45
a mid-season yeah or close to the end
6:49
yeah like you would think that she would
6:50
have because I definitely was expecting
6:51
him and Maria to really kind of because
6:53
they usually handle that [ __ ] together
6:54
yeah
6:57
I'm doing financially if she 'd still
6:59
like because she didn't take a sacrifice
7:00
she literally yeah murdered you're
7:01
saying like in my mind it would have
7:04
been like oh I'm you know I'm gonna do
7:05
whatever I can to save Nick and his dire
7:07
need and probably got killed yeah to
7:10
really just be like but like not
7:11
actually betrayed but you really got
7:12
tricked like really really got tricked
7:15
bro and then like and you know like
7:18
the the whole super scroll aspect and
7:21
just understanding like okay like one
7:23
this is one thing like this is extremist
7:25
like I can I get that you were saying
7:27
that Nick Fury left job but the [ __ ]
7:30
got blipped again unless yes he didn't
7:34
get blipped and he chose to go up there
7:36
with the Scrolls and he's been up there
7:38
the whole time see that's the whole well
7:40
I don't think he's up there with the
7:41
Scrolls by the way I think he's just up
7:42
there with the it sounds like it's with
7:44
uh the remnants of Shield well that
7:47
whatever that ship was yeah I think
7:49
that's the remnants of shoes
7:52
up there too but he talked to maybe I
7:55
could I don't think it's like a group I
7:57
don't because oh no I don't think it's
7:58
just a scroll I can't remember they had
8:00
that's that's why Rhodes was talking to
8:03
I don't know if it was the president or
8:04
if it was somebody else in the
8:05
government in the first episode where he
8:07
was like no he's supposed to be up there
8:09
with saber
8:10
oh yeah so like it's clearly a
8:13
government thing but either way it goes
8:15
I'm like bro like like I said to me if
8:17
you get blip then you can't blame them
8:19
for being like not not finding y'all a
8:21
new home because there's [ __ ] that
8:23
happened but also those years before the
8:25
blip he's I'm sure that also it comes in
8:27
well I guess it depends on if you it
8:30
depends on if you believed in the Thanos
8:32
threat or not because remember Nick Fury
8:33
his whole reason for setting up the
8:35
advantage and everything is like there's
8:36
all these worldly threats right but so
8:38
he was busy but respectfully he was busy
8:42
I'm assuming he said he met graphic in
8:45
97. yeah true Thanos didn't become an
8:47
issue to like 20 what was that like 2018
8:49
right but the whole reason for him
8:51
starting the Avengers Initiative was I
8:53
foresee this threat so I got to put this
8:55
I got to put things in motion he puts it
8:57
in the motion because of the squirrels
8:58
like you know but you ain't helping
9:00
[ __ ] who help you put this in motion
9:02
well he'd finish his mission and then
9:04
when he finishes Mission another threat
9:06
came it was like it was like the [ __ ]
9:10
the [ __ ] I gotta get some people
9:12
together
9:13
20 years later you still ain't delivered
9:16
I'm a little mad because you don't
9:18
believe in the threat you like man that
9:20
threat shouldn't have took y'all away
9:21
yes that was a 20-year threat
9:25
he deserves this ain't like oh we got to
9:29
stop a government like no we don't even
9:31
know what these [ __ ] is these [ __ ] I
9:33
saw the whole portal happen and people
9:35
and things
9:37
but I'm also Imagine squirrels because
9:39
if y'all been living amongst people
9:40
y'all been seeing all this [ __ ] going on
9:41
too y'all see and we don't see a [ __ ]
9:44
busy yeah and here's the thing at this
9:47
and this and that's why it goes because
9:48
we heard graphic speech bro he like
9:51
y'all [ __ ] doing this to yourself he
9:52
blaming he blaming you I mean yeah he
9:55
blaming humankind so that's why I
9:57
believe like he also a young [ __ ] they
10:01
like [ __ ] they don't spending whatever
10:04
dog
10:18
[Music]
10:21
on someone
10:27
I was a refugee you said hey I got you
10:29
okay and 20 years later that hey I got I
10:33
got you it's still coming I'm going to
10:34
be a little mad but and your response is
10:36
so let's Wipe Out the world
10:39
I'm saying I'm saying on some level I
10:44
understand the anger I just want to
10:45
really why we couldn't have a
10:46
conversation
10:47
[Applause]
10:53
for years but I've been gone I just got
10:56
back now like I'm here now I know you
10:57
mad I know you're mad I get it I get it
10:59
but I'm here now you're there and look
11:00
this is how I get your attention you
11:02
don't have to do that so he did this we
11:05
didn't go for coffee the only reason the
11:07
only reason he's back is because he had
11:09
to do so let's let's get into the
11:10
timeline of events so the opening scene
11:13
in the very very like in general we come
11:16
to find out now do y'all believe that
11:18
this ever is Ross in this show at that
11:21
moment was a strong or do you believe
11:23
that he's been a scroll for a a grip I
11:26
think it's just for the shows I think
11:27
because I think he
11:28
I even watching it he was like this
11:30
thing he's doing too much like you
11:31
definitely like I felt like he was
11:32
really like trying to get information
11:33
okay where you can be like you
11:35
definitely undercover doing something
11:36
yeah because when that reveal happened
11:38
that was the first again also and the
11:40
Spy Espionage movie you from your
11:43
opening scene gave me a million
11:44
questions like you know saying you had
11:46
this opening like all right what's going
11:47
on what's going on and then every once
11:49
when he got shot I was like oh [ __ ] and
11:51
then when it turns those girls like wait
11:52
years
12:00
it's really crazy this is only six
12:02
episodes because I feel like watching
12:05
this is going to question like the whole
12:06
time and that's why it's gonna be so
12:08
crazy they're gonna give us six episodes
12:09
and we gonna question everything moving
12:13
forward you gotta see where it
12:15
reverberate after that I think I think
12:17
Everett Rawson what kind of forever was
12:18
this girl ever awesome and all of them
12:21
and wakanda and there's there's been
12:24
there's been damning evidence because
12:26
he's like okay you got to think all
12:27
right if if ever is Ross if that scroll
12:30
was really on the side of graphic right
12:33
who Everett Ross had he had front seat
12:36
at every issue why you think he was so
12:39
sympathetic to the other side yeah he
12:41
had front seat to everything the Civil
12:44
War he was there he didn't he could have
12:46
he could have easily put uh Baron Zemo
12:49
on because you're like gotta think they
12:51
always say one of the knocks even as as
12:54
people pray Civil War one of the knocks
12:57
is bro in order for this to happen like
12:59
this this in order for this movie to
13:01
happen everything had to happen precise
13:03
like how did how did they know where
13:05
like like there was like a Bucky would
13:07
have had to been in the city when the
13:09
bond went off so that way that he can
13:11
get blamed for killing t'challa's dad
13:13
like all he was like you know and then
13:15
he was like who told like he was like
13:17
who told um Carter like you know I'm
13:20
saying like oh everybody was over there
13:22
uh went to show the footage uh when
13:24
Bucky killed Iron Man's pair like like
13:26
Everett Ross was literally he had Prime
13:28
season to manipulate it all if he was so
13:31
like it's crazy
13:34
they gave an answer these General
13:37
existential questions about fam where is
13:40
my family gonna live for 20 years and
13:41
that's why you sent that in motion and
13:43
that's why I love this show right now so
13:44
far because when the secret Invasion
13:47
comic came out it literally shook the
13:49
comic world because you're like wait a
13:50
minute like if I'm not mistaken anything
13:52
I think in the comic Captain America
13:53
turned out to be a scrub like there was
13:55
like so many people but they've been
13:57
Scrolls back in like all these Comics we
13:59
were reading like what they were was a
14:00
scroll there like you know what I'm
14:01
saying so like I love that this show was
14:03
awesome do you take the memories and
14:05
everything yep yeah you don't remember
14:07
that you didn't see that scene where
14:08
they had them locked up so in the scene
14:10
when they was there but she was like now
14:11
take everything yes and that's what I I
14:14
know let's just talk about it yeah huh
14:17
that's what I want to talk about I I
14:19
asked that at the end the last episode
14:21
about how y'all ain't got like y'all
14:25
ain't got no type of um code or nothing
14:28
cause somebody will open no they take
14:29
their memories but it's like from what
14:31
we've seen yet they gotta do some type
14:33
of like mind milk go like this take the
14:35
memories we ain't seen that with graphic
14:37
and fury so I'm like they could at least
14:40
thought to hey I I know I ain't been a
14:42
scroll so we gotta have something
14:44
because somebody else somebody's
14:45
replying to me like well you know they
14:47
can take their memories and it's like
14:48
we've seen that they can just randomly
14:50
take the members they got to do like
14:51
touch foreheads yeah really yeah so yeah
14:53
unless unless Fury Touch phone unless it
14:56
went way back when I didn't think about
14:59
that way back when bro way back in 2000
15:02
1997. even even with the like less later
15:06
but even the wife thing it's like people
15:08
forget like there's a two-year Gap that
15:09
we don't know what happened so as I said
15:11
the 95s when he met everybody
15:13
in the 97s when Graphics showed up
15:15
that's how they showed it yeah yeah but
15:17
like I said it was sold in the series
15:18
was ogre introducing her so I'm like no
15:20
that was soaring at least that's what he
15:22
said in the uh yeah
15:24
that's what he said in the uh synopsis
15:27
so that's why I'm like I I don't know
15:29
when he would have met this lady so
15:31
that's why there's a million Scrolls he
15:33
never he didn't know there was a million
15:34
Scrolls yeah it goes back to my thing
15:36
bro we saw his might not bro the way
15:38
that he reacted was like [ __ ] I don't I
15:42
don't know who to trust like the way he
15:44
reacted when they told him that a
15:46
million of us is here I sent the call
15:48
out I didn't know he was going to be
15:49
back and everything and a million of us
15:50
is here that reaction was the
15:54
bro I I don't know what to do at this
15:56
point because now remember is what he
16:00
said oh my God because he's like bro
16:02
like I gotta start from I gotta go back
16:04
to one which was hilarious though
16:05
because I mean this [ __ ] was really
16:06
having like a very old like Nick Furious
16:09
kind of like I'm trying to get some
16:10
information out you but we're gonna pop
16:11
we're gonna have fun yeah once the [ __ ]
16:13
said the [ __ ] here he said hold on
16:29
that's the easiest way also to get
16:31
information I set your wife up as a
16:34
squirrel you no matter who you are
16:35
whatever secret you hold you pillow
16:38
talking with your wife yeah and think
16:39
about it this way from the time that he
16:41
learned about the Scrolls he probably
16:44
started his research right and up until
16:46
this point he still has not found the
16:49
way to distinguish a scroll from a human
16:51
yeah right but he probably he's like
16:53
okay man I'm paying apparently so but I
16:55
mean you can actually just go around
16:56
yeah you can't just go around yeah but
16:58
so but in his head he's like all right I
17:00
mean I I noticed a couple of hundred but
17:02
like I mean at least I got far in this
17:04
research then you realize that there's a
17:06
million and you still don't know how to
17:08
tell them apart you're like bro this is
17:10
worse than I thought your research who's
17:13
feeding you that research you might have
17:14
been going to talk to people say you
17:16
talking to say I'm talking you trying to
17:18
get research on the Scrolls but you know
17:19
you would scroll right I know you ain't
17:21
leaving me bad information now to get me
17:23
off the trail which we already started
17:24
we already started uh suspecting people
17:26
like there's been multiple like you know
17:28
what I'm saying like you know his
17:29
meeting with Roadie you know I'm saying
17:31
like he has this meeting we're looking
17:33
at him like bro you talking wild
17:34
disrespect right now dude
17:40
bro bro we know in Black bro in Black
17:44
Culture in general the way we treat our
17:46
elders you know what I'm saying even if
17:48
they similar in age I think ah I'm here
17:52
a little bit older
17:54
I think
18:25
when that person come over here like yo
18:30
to be only six episodes like Nick got a
18:33
half episode where this [ __ ] is really
18:34
going crazy like where he's really
18:35
panicked well they're gonna have a
18:36
moment that might be next episode
18:38
they're gonna have a moment where he's
18:40
like standing in somewhere and he's
18:42
looking around like all these
18:43
[ __ ] can be a scroll or some or
18:46
nothing right now I don't say like what
18:48
I'm so what I'm what I and that's why I
18:50
was in the beginning like what's
18:51
bothering me about the show so far is
18:53
the fact that Nick is off his square and
18:55
I get that he's just got here he got
18:57
thrown off he got thrown off and just
18:58
got here and you're saying like he
19:00
thinks he'll just come for a little
19:01
little whistle you know what I'm saying
19:03
like y'all got a little problem finally
19:04
come back y'all call them come down yeah
19:06
and then you realize you know [ __ ] tell
19:08
you like it's a million of us like hold
19:09
on bro well before that because remember
19:11
we jumped ahead to like this episode in
19:13
episode one when he comes down he first
19:15
comes down he gets kidnapped in a
19:17
terrorist attack happened so now he's
19:18
like [ __ ] like what the hell
19:20
he said he was coming up to yeah
19:25
so he's like he's like he's like wait a
19:27
minute he's like wait Scrolls is
19:28
attacking [ __ ] like I thought we was
19:29
like wait a minute we're on the same
19:31
side right there so that's the first
19:33
thing he's like damn now like now the
19:35
the states is against us and everything
19:37
he's like yeah and the end of episode
19:38
two he learns that they're a million
19:40
he's like wait a minute
19:41
he left the [ __ ] being good
19:43
like y'all's being good and just finding
19:45
your business
19:46
y'all acting like America
19:54
yeah
20:00
LARPing right yeah like one another
20:03
thing that The Marvelous show bro
20:05
there's there's no government that's
20:07
really on the side of the heroes the
20:09
government is just mic everybody is
20:11
human FBI Secret Service what they
20:15
showing is that every government is
20:17
truly out for themselves
20:24
is a little bit of racist or whatever
20:26
you want to call it because it's like
20:27
why ain't there a superhero cop like who
20:29
just like you know what I don't want to
20:30
be a superhero I want to use my powers
20:31
to be a cop
20:33
why would you be more political or [ __ ]
20:35
that's in political that's like because
20:37
like even when it was at an X-Men when
20:38
uh you find out what was it was the um
20:42
the general dude the X-Men that was like
20:43
a mutant or whatever he signed with a
20:45
mutant oh uh Angel's dad oh yeah yeah
20:47
like you don't really have nobody in
20:50
political positions I'd be like yeah I'm
20:51
actually you're saying like like
20:53
they turn into the boys right that's
20:56
what I'm saying you ain't cause you're
20:57
not really here for me for human life
20:58
for superhuman rights but you get into
21:00
that or then you end up being like
21:02
Roadie or or the Roadie that we've seen
21:05
because like he's a superhero who got a
21:07
big time government job and he's like
21:09
he's like hey I ain't I ain't trying to
21:11
have his braces on he's human though on
21:15
a Daily Show they show legs now okay
21:18
they didn't show they didn't show enough
21:20
like they showed they sold like jacket
21:23
he was on the phone yeah yeah but they
21:26
didn't have to pass on over it
21:33
what I'm pissed off because I like
21:36
Roadie in general Don Cheadle one of my
21:37
favorite actors I like Roadie I like his
21:39
quips and everything so when he first
21:41
got on the screen you know what I'm
21:42
saying he hidden back at the government
21:44
I'm like oh yeah they can check them
21:45
[ __ ] bro like they trying to come at
21:46
you and your [ __ ] fur and he seemed
21:49
like he was he was on high but then soon
21:51
it's like as soon as him change I was
21:54
like God damn bro but like I said I
21:56
think we brought up two very good
21:57
scenarios where he couldn't one he could
21:59
be very much a scroll you got to get you
22:01
got to get the [ __ ] off here you gotta
22:02
get him off there's a scroll or two
22:05
he knew he being watched so he's trying
22:07
to save him you gotta play it up as hard
22:08
as you can to try like you said to try
22:11
to save him so I mean the thing is like
22:13
[ __ ] is Nick like it's been I don't
22:14
know how many years but you get called
22:16
like hey Nick Fury starting problems in
22:18
Moscow why is he here right like don't
22:20
you got it like you gotta okay all right
22:21
you call it a place like I mean the
22:23
president like I'ma handle this because
22:24
right yeah but see the only reason why
22:27
the only reason why I can't lean to that
22:29
because didn't they kind of similarly do
22:32
that in uh Winter Soldier
22:38
but they was fake like he was dead
22:40
remember oh Nick yeah I mean I mean it's
22:44
still similar because also but that's
22:46
also like
22:47
in my theory of squirrel history is when
22:49
if Nick is a squirrel that's pretty much
22:51
that's when it happened okay like the
22:53
faking his death yeah like that was
22:54
pretty much when he happened yeah so
22:55
yeah and also like my third in that is
22:59
If he if the squirrel that was Nick is
23:02
the one that got blipped and that's what
23:04
the [ __ ] was because he couldn't
23:05
tell Nick like bro I'm going yeah that's
23:08
what I so that's the third [ __ ] oh so
23:10
Nick so if this is the real Nick he
23:12
really don't know what the [ __ ] been
23:14
going on because ain't nobody been able
23:15
to tell him [ __ ] the biggest Theory even
23:18
before this started was that Nick has
23:20
been in space since Captain Marvel and
23:22
that was the moment that he left out and
23:24
then he did he did a switch he had a
23:26
scroll turn it to him to be on to be on
23:29
earth so that that would lean into that
23:32
scroll that was him this whole time was
23:34
the one that got blipped right the only
23:37
thing that throws that a little into a
23:38
loop and I guess you can definitely
23:41
explain it with some creative
23:42
storytelling is okay so when he came
23:45
back
23:46
from what we saw in Spider-Man
23:50
was that that was sort of the next
23:52
Evolution like he was talking that's
23:53
when we started talking about how he had
23:54
all these extraterrestrial threats and
23:57
stuff that they were going up in the
23:58
space
23:59
if he's been there for so long where's
24:02
that one at now the one that's in space
24:04
no like the the scroll Nick Fury you
24:07
think he's supposed to be also in space
24:08
well I think when he came so and here's
24:10
the and this and we haven't seen a
24:12
scroll when they get blipped when they
24:14
come back what happens because my thing
24:17
is this is this was always my theory
24:19
with that is that when you get blipped
24:21
back you come blip back as your normal
24:22
self right so meaning that that scroll
24:24
would have been blipped back as Nick
24:26
Fury I mean as a scroll and then I was
24:29
like you know what I like maybe I don't
24:30
turn back to Nick Fury maybe yeah you
24:32
know what I'm saying like that's what
24:33
I'm assuming you wouldn't know who you
24:35
are because I mean if you pop back in
24:36
the world immediate you're gonna damage
24:37
on somebody like if you just like if
24:39
you're just around people yeah yeah
24:41
that's still the general public still
24:43
obviously doesn't know yeah and and
24:45
because
24:47
you know as Nick Fury you being I
24:49
wouldn't come back as Nick you're
24:50
immediately if I pop you're saying yeah
24:51
and you like [ __ ] no [ __ ] looking
24:53
for me now I've been gone other Nick
24:55
don't know I'm gone like you don't say
24:56
like so it's like I wouldn't come back
24:58
immediately being Nick because then you
25:00
are like where the [ __ ] you been
25:01
everybody's gonna be on your ass
25:03
and it just for like all these movies
25:06
and shows that we've been getting have
25:08
they they didn't show Nick Fury coming
25:10
back today
25:11
so you know how like we saw Monica Rambo
25:13
come back and it was all that chaos and
25:15
then we saw uh Yelena come back you know
25:18
what I'm saying and I don't know what
25:19
I'm not yelling was that scar was that
25:21
who was in the bathroom that came in
25:22
Atlanta
25:23
came back did they did we see the moment
25:27
that Nick came back I don't think they
25:28
ever said they really they barely they
25:30
rarely show a company because he didn't
25:32
show up an in-game at all
25:36
I don't think he was an end game at all
25:37
now that I think about it yeah he would
25:38
have came back with everybody yeah so
25:41
like I said they got that kind of that
25:44
can kind of lean into the squirrel thing
25:46
like I just still don't understand why
25:47
the only thing about the whole blip
25:49
still is the fact that it hasn't been
25:51
his playing where the [ __ ] that was at
25:53
there was a void I'm assuming it was
25:55
just a void okay was it was
25:58
it well you know
26:01
the theory was that they were in the
26:03
Soul Stone yes and no so there's a group
26:06
like they all knew everybody was there
26:07
well here's the thing this is why it
26:08
throws it off and this it does ask
26:10
questions because they didn't
26:11
necessarily say it but if I'm not
26:14
mistaken
26:15
somebody was like yeah they got it we
26:16
was ready to come out the circle to
26:18
fight like everybody grouped together
26:20
like you got to think you had when they
26:23
came back in end game like [ __ ] they
26:25
had factions yeah wakanda and them came
26:27
back together all this one then you got
26:29
the you had you had to you had all those
26:32
shots
26:36
but what we saw from everything else
26:39
everybody appeared back where they were
26:42
so damn near doctor strange but he's
26:46
back but he also
26:48
but okay so did they come back and then
26:50
Dr Strange said okay everybody get
26:51
together I'm a set of portal we gonna
26:53
meet or did they all just come back when
26:55
they blip when they came back did they
26:56
all come back from the blip like that
26:58
now the question I think they did so I
27:00
think the way the way it looks like I'm
27:02
at least my essentials like I said we
27:04
could tell from the people that we saw
27:06
come back they seem to appear back where
27:07
they where they were blipped from so my
27:10
assumption was that when Doctor Strange
27:11
appeared back because remember all the
27:13
other sorcerers was the one who were
27:14
opening all the all the portals so when
27:17
he appeared back he probably went to
27:18
Career Taj got all them like we gotta go
27:20
do this fight took them to eat they know
27:24
where all people are appearing at going
27:25
to all these different locations and
27:27
that's just bringing them through that's
27:28
why but like
27:31
how how much time did they have that
27:33
because
27:34
not because not not only do you gotta
27:36
not only does Dr Strange have to come
27:38
back then he got to explain to everybody
27:39
what's going on right explaining that
27:42
hold on hold on
27:44
he got to explain people like what's
27:46
going on right then he gotta map out the
27:49
plan then he got to send them to the
27:50
respective locations then they got to
27:53
explain to everybody okay this is what
27:54
we about to do everybody get together I
27:56
gotta open this up we got to go help
27:57
Steve that's my phone
28:05
but I'm saying there was a decent amount
28:07
of times remember when when when Hulk
28:09
did the snap it all happened
28:11
and then the uh Thanos he Thanos
28:14
attacked and they were fighting Thanos
28:16
for a good amount of time because you
28:18
remember Hulk did it they had they had
28:20
all the things Scott was looking out was
28:22
like look Scott who was looking out the
28:24
uh who was looking out the window
28:25
because you can hear the birds coming
28:26
back everything sounded peaceful they
28:29
all looking then that's when the attack
28:30
happened yeah and they fought for a good
28:33
amount of time they [ __ ] like I want
28:35
to say in actual screen time a good like
28:38
30 minutes
28:39
without everybody coming without
28:40
everybody
28:44
he exploded the compound right remember
28:50
um who was stuck under the rubble uh
28:52
Ant-Man rocket yeah and Brody I thought
28:56
yeah okay yeah and you know what I'm
28:58
saying Thor got packed out
29:00
Captain America were fighting yeah the
29:04
door got packed out Captain America got
29:06
packed out then he picked up the uh
29:14
he was ready to do another grandstand
29:16
and then that's when he heard on your
29:17
left and that's what I'm saying that was
29:19
like a good
29:19
let's see let's go let's go pedestrian
29:22
20 minutes okay you get blipped and you
29:26
know so not regular people because yes
29:28
we're gonna have questions a [ __ ] who
29:30
can fight who ready to fight you go you
29:32
get packed up but what if this like
29:35
first day out of training and then they
29:36
telling you I feel like somebody's gonna
29:38
have some questions
29:40
you gotta convince are the sorcerers
29:42
because everybody that would kind of
29:44
know what happened because he came in
29:45
and he came and invaded But everybody
29:46
everybody from wakanda didn't get
29:48
blipped and that's my thing how like how
29:51
to gather everybody in one spot all your
29:54
people back I feel like y'all not ready
30:07
how did it feel for them
30:09
for them it didn't feel like five years
30:14
now you come back you like bro hey let's
30:17
go beat do that
30:19
even worse
30:23
now you gotta tell me like wait if five
30:26
years later
30:28
that was probably the 30th that was
30:31
probably the 30 minutes like bro what
30:32
you mean it's five years later deny you
30:34
mad now you're like Ryan to go beat dude
30:37
you had old boy from Ant-Man explaining
30:40
this [ __ ] to everybody
30:45
right
30:50
because that always throw me off because
30:52
I mean even in which I'm saying that
30:54
like that would just mean that no one
30:57
even looked for like I don't like it
30:58
just throw me off because but it does
31:00
make me feel like that Nick wasn't
31:02
available that really wasn't Nick then I
31:04
don't think no that's what I'm saying
31:05
yeah that Nick would definitely real
31:07
Nick would have been like look dog I
31:08
don't know what the [ __ ]
31:17
is like
31:19
Listen by the door I think it's just
31:21
people walking out but like the fact
31:23
that he didn't appear with him the
31:24
fighting game man like that [ __ ] got
31:26
the [ __ ] like bro
31:31
that part does make sense
31:34
like I said it leads to it like you know
31:36
what I'm saying like my theory because
31:38
knowing what the secret Invasion
31:39
storyline is again if I had to if right
31:42
now where we're at if I had to put my
31:44
money on to two people that are Scrolls
31:46
I am going Nick Fury and Roadie for me
31:50
those are the two that I'm assuming are
31:52
squirrels at this point and
31:54
we've seen in the third
31:57
in the series as of right now if I have
31:58
to base it off of all of everything Nick
32:01
Fury and Rody Nick you're not giving it
32:03
because of the wife thing
32:04
like even if you're saying because even
32:07
if we're putting into the idea that the
32:09
wife is secretly playing as a scrolling
32:10
Nick doesn't know well I don't think I I
32:13
if I'm going off of my theory I think
32:16
that he knows but if I'm oh they're just
32:18
like a scroll couple playing yeah if I'm
32:20
going off my theory I think that he
32:22
knows based off of how they showed us it
32:24
doesn't look like he don't know though
32:24
that could make sense that could make
32:26
sense I like that idea oh but uh how
32:28
many Eagles y'all giving this so far but
32:30
we do the first two episodes I mean
32:33
um
32:34
I mean it's a five to me but it's really
32:35
it's just a confusing five it's just
32:37
it's really it's so much anticipation in
32:39
there yeah I'm giving it a five because
32:41
it's still even though it's different
32:43
from the comic book and I know a lot of
32:45
people get upset about that it's still
32:46
capturing the essence when the comic
32:48
book run was going the confusion in the
32:51
comic book in the comic book Community
32:53
about wait who is wait okay wait wait
32:55
what like like that and this is still
32:57
giving us that and gotta think also for
33:00
the longest I mean one of the things
33:02
that people been knocking about Marvel
33:04
in general they were saying like things
33:05
are getting predictable things are not
33:07
really this is kind of lackluster and we
33:10
haven't had a good thing since I want to
33:13
say one division where we was like every
33:15
episode or everything really quick
33:17
question because even in Moonlight we
33:19
was like oh yeah this is dope but we
33:20
didn't have like the questions like that
33:22
yeah but like one division gave us so
33:24
many questions every week I'm official
33:26
or that that's my Fisto like so this is
33:28
gonna this is yeah
33:31
it came in yeah
33:34
because it's been a long time since you
33:35
watched something where you like damn do
33:37
I gotta rewatch
33:40
give it a five just like you said
33:43
the same reason that you guys did I I
33:45
came in immediately with questions and
33:47
obviously so far really nothing's been
33:50
answered so it it keeps you wanting to
33:53
watch so that way you can try to figure
33:55
this out oh what's for clue it's game of
33:57
wait was it what show was that was it
33:59
Game of Thrones where it was like
34:00
where's like you get a question at the
34:03
end of an episode and then the next
34:04
episode
34:05
you lead with more questions again like
34:08
what like I still got questions yeah so
34:11
yeah so that's what I want to know from
34:12
y'all though like a couple of questions
34:15
who do y'all think are Scrolls
34:18
um I wanna I wanna hear your big your
34:20
biggest Theory too like give us a
34:21
detailed description of one of the
34:23
people you choose to scroll like when do
34:24
you think they became a scroll and why
34:26
like I definitely want to know that let
34:27
us know your ego rankings in the
34:29
comments and everything and then
34:31
um also
34:33
um like the overall what do you think
34:35
this series is going to leave us with
34:37
because I want to because now that's
34:38
what I'm thinking when it's done this is
34:40
a really because I mean and that's what
34:42
I'm gonna ask before we leave too like
34:43
is this the first of the next phase or
34:46
was or was that man the first day at the
34:48
phase well I thought at the end of the
34:50
phase wasn't it I can't remember no I
34:52
thought no Ant-Man was the first because
34:53
remember wakanda forever was the end of
34:55
last year yeah that's right yeah because
34:56
I was famous the first of it okay so
34:58
that's what I'm saying like so for me
34:59
like that's what I said for me it's like
35:01
knowing like that this is now a new
35:03
phase yeah like and we know so many
35:05
things really in his face it was like
35:07
how does this really yeah because that's
35:09
another that's another thing people was
35:10
knocking about this phase they was like
35:11
bro we don't even know where we're going
35:13
because remember for the most part for
35:15
Marvel like we know the titles that
35:16
we're going but for the most part MCU
35:18
has always given us like they're working
35:21
towards something right this whole cycle
35:23
they already they already detailed it as
35:25
the Multiverse soccer so we were dealing
35:26
with multiple threats multiple storages
35:28
yeah but I'm just saying that that's
35:29
what the knock was you know and then
35:31
when Ant-Man came out everybody okay
35:33
finally we get in the king area but now
35:35
like knowing what's crazy is that the
35:37
way the way that Marvel's setting up is
35:39
like a triple layer cake they're setting
35:40
up the king Invasion which is going to
35:42
go into the secret Invasion which is
35:44
going to go into eventually you know
35:47
Secret Wars yeah I mean so it's like
35:49
you're setting up three big events three
35:52
like like literally I mean and we're
35:55
gonna keep talking but I'm like there is
35:56
nothing to Loki that really might even
35:58
touch Kang again
35:59
well technically it should yeah but we
36:02
don't know
36:03
Loki for sure they already they already
36:05
did the synopsis for sure is touching it
36:07
because I know but I'm saying we don't
36:09
know how it's going to touch it but it
36:11
definitely is it's supposed to yeah
36:13
because Loki was the kick off the king
36:15
so it's like it's so many because like
36:17
this being and that's why I'm really
36:19
worried about this I'm not worried about
36:20
the fact that six episodes It's Like You
36:22
Finna leave you definitely gonna leave
36:24
us off something well yes and no each
36:26
episode has been hard-hitting so this
36:29
may be six hard-hitting [ __ ] episodes
36:31
like yo like this may rival one division
36:34
with how hard hitting these up because
36:36
these first open hour episodes yeah I
36:38
feel like I feel like you're giving all
36:39
hours you go you get more hours so yeah
36:41
man let us know man but as always this
36:43
is the only podcast that hip-hop culture
36:45
and geek coaching together and we are
36:47
out peace
