Venezuela: Three Survivors Pulled From Venezuela Earthquake Rubble After Overnight Rescue Effort.

Caraballeda, Venezuela - June 28, 2026 Members of Virginia Task Force 1 (USA-01) Urban Search and Rescue worked through the night and into the following day, rescuing three survivors from two separate collapsed structures. Footage filmed by Virginia Task Force 1 Urban Search and Rescue shows crews carrying out operations at the damaged buildings as teams continued searching for people trapped beneath the rubble. At one location, rescuers maintained contact with a trapped survivor for more than 12 hours before completing a complex extrication. The rescue effort involved determination, technical expertise, and continuous work by the Urban Search and Rescue teams during the overnight operation. The U.S. team remains on the ground in Venezuela and continues to work alongside international partners as search operations continue in the affected region. Rescue teams remain committed to locating and assisting people who may still be trapped.
