US, Los Angeles: Simi Valley Fatal Amtrak Train vs Ped.

Los Angeles, United States - June 05, 2026 06/04/2026 06:28 PM GMT-0700 SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – Ventura County Fire Department and Simi Valley Police responded to a report of a train striking a pedestrian this evening. The incident involved the westbound Amtrak Coast Starlight 11, which struck the pedestrian just west of Sequoia Avenue along Los Angeles Avenue. Emergency services pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
