Los Angeles, United States - July 06, 2026 07/05/2026 09:38 pm GMT-0700 EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A crowd of about 100 to 200 Mexico fans gathered on Whittier Boulevard and Leonard Avenue in East Los Angeles following the Mexico team's loss to England in the FIFA World Cup. During this event, three individuals were shot at the intersection, and they were transported to local hospitals, although their conditions remain unknown. Additionally, a fourth victim was shot at South Amalia Avenue and East Hubbard Street in East Los Angeles. The status of this individual is also unclear; it is not known if they were transported to a hospital or pronounced dead at the scene. A witness, who requested anonymity, described the scene at the intersection where the three victims were shot. He said fans were celebrating as multiple vehicles performed donuts in the intersection when shots rang out.
