US, Los Angeles: Pacoima Mexico Fans Celebrate World Cup Victory.

Los Angeles, United States - June 25, 2026 06/24/2026 09:00 PM GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Hundreds of Mexico fans took over the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Van Nuys Boulevard this evening after Mexico defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 in a World Cup match. Fans filled the street, waving flags and cheering as they celebrated the national team’s win. The intersection was heavily impacted, and the Los Angeles Police Department was on the scene blocking traffic in the surrounding area. The California Highway Patrol also assisted by blocking nearby off-ramps. No injuries or arrests were immediately reported, and the celebration continued as fans remained in the area after the match.
