US: Huge Dust Devil Towers Over Desert Near Yuma.

Yuma, United States - May 24, 2026 A video filmed by X user saunie shows an exceptionally large and wide dust devil spinning across the desert near Yuma, Arizona. The footage captures a massive, towering column of swirling brown dust and sand rising high into the sky while rotating powerfully across open farmland and scrubland off Highway 95. The dust devil appears unusually broad at its base, throwing a huge cloud of fine topsoil into the air as the drifting dust spreads across the surrounding area. The person who recorded the video on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at around 3:17 p.m., said: “This is the biggest (widest) dust devil I have ever seen. Too bad cover crops aren’t able to be used more here. All that good topsoil, and maybe bad pesticides and fertilizer all airborne and lost.”
