Thousands of Muslims, officials from the school affiliated with the Islamic center, and local authorities attended the funeral ceremony held at Mission Valley River Park near Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. Three people, including a security guard, were fatally shot Monday at the center. Law enforcement officials said two suspected teenage gunmen died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The shootings are being investigated as a hate crime. The attack took place the week before the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
