Aleppo, Syria - September 12, 2026 Violence erupted in the northern Kurdish-majority Syrian town of Kobane on Friday as residents protested over the killing of a Kurdish fighter, state media reported. Similary protests erupted in Aleppo. Protestors attacked police cars and carried out an attack on internal security forces, they said.
