Erbil, Iraq - August 11, 2026 A rocket or explosive-drone attack targeted a camp belonging to an Iranian Kurdish opposition group northeast of Erbil, in Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan Region, according to security sources. Smoke was reported rising from the group’s headquarters after the strike. Initial reports indicated that there were no casualties.
