Various of Chinese acrobatic performances in progress Storyline The Chinese acrobatic show "The Last Dragon" has captivated Peruvian audiences at the national theater in Lima with its breathtaking artistry and impeccable technique. The China National Acrobatic Troupe -- China's top acrobatic company and one of the most renowned in the world -- toured Peru this month with its performance of "The Last Dragon", which combines tradition, precision and an impressive stage presence. Inspired by ancient Chinese legends, the show transports viewers to a universe where the spirit of the last dragon still lives on. Ticket-holders were treated to acts of the highest technical caliber, delivered by artists who represent the pinnacle of contemporary Chinese acrobatics. From spinning parasols to juggling far more balls than one can count, the show unfolded as a continuous series of awe-inspiring spectacles. "I've been to many circuses, and honestly, I've never seen such a beautiful, cultural and representative performance as the one they've given us today," said Bryan Ramos, an audience member. "Their culture is really beautiful, honestly. The training is really good, and the show has been quite good," said Midori Shikiya, another viewer. I was so moved to see the strength, the discipline, and the professionalism with which they perform their acts. You can tell there's a lot of preparation, a lot of commitment, a lot of love, and an extraordinary quality that you don't see just anywhere," said audience member Juana Wang. Alongside the acrobatics, the show has provided plenty of laughs thanks to the clown Bobby Cool, who brought classic slapstick comedy during his first visit to Peru. "This one is a very nice show and I really liked the people. It's very enjoy(able) and very hot. I really want every city to seem like these people. We are coming. Peru is very nice," Cool said. Founded in 1950, the China National Acrobatic Troupe has brought the art of Chinese acrobatics to over 80 countries and has obtained 72 gold medals and 10 honorary distinctions in national and international competitions, establishing itself as one of the most prestigious groups of its kind.
