VARIOUS OF BULLDOZER DEMOLISHING BUILDINGSWEST BANK, PALESTINE - SEPT. 2, 2026: Israeli forces demolished Palestinian-owned homes and other structures in Tibban village in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Masafer Yatta media activist Usama Mahamra told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that Israeli forces entered the village with heavy machinery. Mahamra said troops began demolishing around 10 structures and facilities belonging to the Abu Ubaid and Al-Hamam families. The structures included homes, sheds, sheep pens, water wells, a cave and tents. He said residents were prevented from removing their belongings before the demolitions. Masafer Yatta is frequently subjected to Israeli military raids and attacks by Israeli settlers amid the continued expansion of settlements in the area.
