Az-Zāwiyah, Libya - August 12, 2026 Anti-aircraft fire was reportedly heard over Zawiya, western Libya, as another drone was targeted in the city’s skies while a major fire continued to burn at the main electricity station after it was struck by a drone overnight, according to local sources. Footage showed a huge column of flames and thick black smoke rising above the facility.
