VARIOUS OF GRIEVING RELATIVE WEEPING OVER BODY OF SLAIN PALESTINIAN IN HOSPITAL MORGUEGAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - AUGUST 24: Several Palestinians were killed and injured on Monday, August 24, in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of civilians gathered outside their home in western Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip. Palestinian Civil Defense teams and paramedics evacuated the dead and wounded from the strike zone to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis for emergency medical care. The strike was part of Israel’s continuing violations of a ceasefire agreement in effect in Gaza since Oct. 10, 2025. It came despite US President Donald Trump’s call for an end to Israeli strikes on the Palestinian enclave. The Israeli army has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 174,000 others in a brutal offensive since October 2023.
