VARIOUS OF PROTESTERS CHANTING SLOGANS, HOLDING BANNERS AND FLAGS ATHENS, GREECE - MAY 18: Dozens of protesters gathered in Greece on Monday, May 18, to condemn Israel’s latest attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla, voicing solidarity with Palestinians and calling for an end to the war in Gaza. The protesters gathered outside the Greek Foreign Ministry in Athens and shouted for a free Palestine. They also urged the release of activists held by Israel. The Israeli army on Monday attacked the Gaza-bound flotilla in international waters and detained around 100 activists. The flotilla, consisting of more than 50 boats, set sail Thursday from the Turkish Mediterranean district of Marmaris in a renewed attempt to break the Israeli blockade imposed on Gaza since 2007.
