Various of demonstration in progress Storyline Demonstrators took to the streets of Berlin for a two-day series of rallies to protest Israel's ongoing military operations in Gaza and the West Bank, while calling on the German government to take stronger action to secure a true ceasefire. The marches through the German capital on Sunday and Monday saw protesters wave Palestinian flags and hold aloft placards reading "Stop the War" and "Stop Arming Israel," as many voiced outrage over the serious humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in the Gaza Strip, where over one million displaced Palestinians are struggling for food and clean water.
