The group landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at around 4.20 p.m. local time, where pro-Palestinian supporters welcomed them with slogans including “Free Palestine.” French activist Yasmine Scola told Anadolu that the group faced stressful and harsh conditions after being taken to Ashdod Port. Scola said activists were held on ships that had been turned into detention areas for two days before being transferred to Ktziot Prison. She alleged that detainees were kept handcuffed for long periods and denied access to basic rights, including legal and medical support. The first group of French activists from the flotilla had returned to Paris earlier the same day.
