Ethiopia: China's embassies, missions mark National Day with global friends.

Chinese embassies and missions around the world have hosted National Day receptions, celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with international guests and reaffirming ties of friendship and cooperation. In Addis Ababa, the Chinese embassy to Ethiopia and its mission to the African Union (AU) jointly held a National Day reception on Thursday. Guests praised President Xi Jinping's four major global initiatives and wished for ever-deepening China-Ethiopia and China-Africa relations. At a reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Thailand in mid-September at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, people from all walks of life in Thailand spoke highly of the global significance of China's development achievements and expressed their expectations for further deepening exchanges and cooperation between Thailand and China across various fields. ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ The prime minister also extended his best festive wishes to the Chinese people, speaking in Chinese. At a reception held by the Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom on Friday, guests in attendance said that China-UK cooperation enjoys broad prospects and expressed their willingness to make new contributions to advancing exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
