Storyline Chinese Premier Li holds talks with leaders from 5 countries attending 2026 Summer Davos Chinese Premier Li Qiang met separately with leaders from five countries in the city of Dalian in northeast China on Tuesday ... at the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions ... also known as Summer Davos. Premier Li said China's relations with these five countries have continued to deepen in recent years, under the strategic guidance of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the countries' leaders. In his meeting with Guinea Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah, Premier Li noted that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the two sides' comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and added that China stands ready to work with Guinea to carry forward the two sides' traditional friendship, firmly support each other on issues concerning each other's core interests, deepen cooperation across all fields, and bring more benefits to both peoples. Bah said Guinea looks forward to working with China to further advance key projects including the Simandou project, expand cooperation, and raise the level of industrial cooperation. Meanwhile, in his meeting with Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Premier Li said China is willing to work with Kazakhstan to deepen good-neighborliness and friendship, consolidate political mutual trust, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, and bring more benefits to the peoples of the two countries. Bektenov said Kazakhstan is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, further enhance high-level exchanges, and jointly advance the Belt and Ro ad Initiative. And in his meeting with ROK Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Premier Li said China is willing to strengthen the foundation of mutual political trust, deepen cooperation in trade, semiconductors, and cultural exchanges, promote an open Asia-Pacific economy, and maintain the security and stability of global supply chains. Prime Minister Kim said the ROK is willing to work with China to expand cooperation in trade, high-tech, culture, and other areas and to promote regional and international peace and stability. And in his meeting with Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Li Qiang said China considers China-Mongolia relations to be an important part of its neighborhood diplomacy, and is willing to work with Mongolia to strengthen strategic alignment and jointly safeguard the interests of the Global South. President Khurelsukh said Mongolia firmly abides by the one-China principle, and is willing to deepen cooperation with China in areas like trade, agriculture, and the green economy. And in his meeting with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, Premier Li said this year marks the 20th anniversary of China-Montenegro diplomatic relations, and he expressed his hope that Montenegro will play an active role in promoting China-EU relations.
