SOUNDBITE (English) Omar Yaghi, 2025 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry: "I think that kind of extensive participation speaks highly of the conference itself, the WAIC. And I want to commend the organizers and the people who sponsored this conference for putting it together and bringing everybody together to try to figure out what aspects of AI are going to be of benefit to us, to society, to the economy, to the world at large. But also what potential harmful things that we need to anticipate and we need to configure into our models so that we don't have to face them down the road. So I think these two aspects are of interest to me. And clearly, when you have industry and academicians as well as researchers combined, I think that we might converge on some kind of idea of how to proceed in this important technology."
