It was Abelardo de la Espriella telling people not to vote in the primary. It is that hatred from the populisms of the far left and the far right that has me here, because I want to defeat it.” “You can feel it, you can see it, Paloma for president!” 6. I want to thank my family. I want to thank Amapola, Tomás, and everyone else, because they have stood by me through difficult moments. And we are here because of them, because Colombia deserves more. And we are going to prove that the time of Colombian women has arrived. No more 200 years! It’s Paloma or never!” “Some say I made a mistake. I say quite the opposite: it was a perfect decision.
