Situated in Xichou County within Yunnan's Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, the facility features four 300,000-kilowatt generating units. During peak electricity demand, the plant can harness 1.16 million cubic meters of water to produce 1.2 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity per hour. On an annual basis, the facility's power generation is expected to satisfy the electricity needs of 980,000 households. Besides strengthening regional energy stability, the project is projected to create around 5,000 jobs, providing a major economic boost to the former revolutionary base area.
