The robots conduct inspections twice a day, each round taking one to two hours, saving an enormous amount of time compared to manual inspections. Liu Taide, technician, chicken farm: "One robot can easily handle the inspection work for two chicken houses, saving 90 percent of the time compared to manual labor." Besides the rolling robots, chicken farms in China are also using automated breeding and egg processing systems.
