Trees in wind Storyline A total of 35,680 residents had been relocated in Nanping City of east China's Fujian Province by 12:00 on Sunday, hours before Typhoon Dolphin's landfall on Sunday evening. Typhoon Dolphin, the 13th typhoon of the year, made landfall at Yuhuan of Taizhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, at around 17:30 on Sunday, then made its second landfall at Yueqing City in east China's Zhejiang Province at around 18:40, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC). Ahead of the forecasted landing, Fujian Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters upgraded its typhoon alert to Level II at 09:00 on Sunday. Local authorities have organized personnel to carry out all preparedness work, including hazard inspection, resident evacuation and material supply guarantee. "Before the typhoon's arrival, the officials went door-to-door to persuade us to evacuate. They took into account all aspects and did a very thorough job," said Yan Wangbi, a villager of Zizhu Village in Nanping City.
