POLICE DETAINING PROTESTERS (TWO SHOTS) ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - MAY 16, 2026: Pro-Palestinian activists disrupted rail traffic linked to the Port of Rotterdam on Saturday after occupying freight railway tracks near Europe’s largest seaport. Police intervened to clear the blockade and detain demonstrators after several protesters locked themselves onto the railway infrastructure during the protest. The activists said the action was aimed at opposing the transport of military equipment linked to Israel.
