The two officials held a working meeting to review Argentina's compliance with economic targets and the current status of its debt agreement with the IMF. Following the talks at the Economy Ministry, Georgieva also met with Argentine President Javier Milei as police maintained a heavy security presence outside and demonstrators staged protests against the IMF's visit.
