The victims were laid to rest after funeral proceedings were held at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Mohammed Mousa, who lost his nephew in the attack, said the civilian police had been working to maintain public security when the post was struck by four missiles. He said his nephew was among those killed and had left behind his wife and three children. Mousa described the repeated deaths and destruction in Gaza as unbearable, saying civilians continued to face attacks on a daily basis. Luay Halawa, whose father was killed in the strike, said his father had gone out to serve his community before being suddenly targeted. He added that no place in Gaza could be considered safe and that everyone remained at risk of being attacked. The Israeli army continues to carry out attacks across the Gaza Strip despite a ceasefire that entered into force on Oct. 10, 2025.
