VARIOUS OF BODY BEING CARRIED TO BURIAL SITE, GRIEVING RELATIVES BIDDING EMOTIONAL GAZA, PALESTINE - MAY 5, 2026: A 15-year-old Palestinian boy was killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza City on Tuesday, May 5, in the latest Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025. The victim, identified as Mohammad Shahwil, was killed in a drone strike in the Bahloul area while selling bread, according to local reports. His body was brought to Al-Shifa Hospital, where grieving relatives gathered to bid him farewell. Earlier in the day, Gaza’s Health Ministry said three Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total death toll since October 2023 to 72,615. Israeli attacks have killed 834 people and injured 2,365 others since the ceasefire, according to ministry. The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza also caused massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the UN at around $70 billion.
