0:00
it's Ray from Pro shaper workshop and
0:03
his Spencer's p800 Volvo turned into a
0:06
275 GTB Ferrari with a Jag V12 engine
0:12
these are all 063 aluminum panels he's
0:15
shaped he shaped all these panels in 16
0:19
days the almost a complete nose here
0:22
he's missing some of the pieces
0:23
underneath the front and these all have
0:26
to be trimmed and flanged he got some of
0:28
the flanging done on this side the right
0:30
side and it'll be uh flange and then uh
0:35
all the joints will be engineered and
0:37
then he will take weld it all up and
0:40
then the the headlights will be cut out
0:43
he's got that little top grill piece
0:46
still to make and the Bottom Grill piece
0:48
still to make but all the other panels
0:53
these have to be finished on this left
0:54
front corner but the back section of the
0:58
left front fender is now all welded he's
1:02
got his door seam in and it's just
1:07
extraordinary give you a Long View here
1:10
you can see if you had one more person
1:12
working on that back end you could
1:16
people a lot of their skin done Mr
1:20
Spencer from North Carolina with is a
1:22
really cool Volvo to Ferrari so Spencer
1:27
what are you doing there now so what I'm
1:29
working on is is uh right now tipping
1:31
the flange in here for the headlight
1:34
opening and wheel well and to get to
1:36
this point um what I did was used the
1:40
nose piece which is actually 3D printed
1:44
and uh we used Ray's fible shape pattern
1:47
system to kind of break break it up into
1:50
a couple different pieces and uh pattern
1:54
each piece and then transfer that to a
1:57
sheet of metal and beat the metal in a
1:59
beater bag then wield it out to get this
2:02
like perfectly smooth chrome finish well
2:04
the bottom panel uh that had a lot of
2:06
crown to it so you couldn't beat that
2:08
all out you had to do the shrink there
2:10
was some shrinking done with the
2:12
shrinking facilitator and hopefully you
2:14
guys saw Yeah we actually made a video
2:16
of that too yeah um since that's such a
2:18
high Crown piece so uh in in your
2:21
opinion this this doesn't happen really
2:24
quick you got to be precise everywhere
2:26
the measurement is the is the is what
2:29
you have to do constantly measure
2:30
measure measure measure measure to get
2:32
the results you've gotten so you have to
2:34
have patience and spener Hazard and
2:36
Spades is unbelievable you can see that
2:39
surface of those panels he's picked them
2:41
up a little bit and the rest of the
2:43
fender is all together welded and uh
2:47
tomorrow we should get this one other
2:49
piece this adjacent piece to there so
2:51
the whole headlight bucket is is
2:53
captured he'll get the piece it needs a
2:55
little bit of tuning still not much and
2:58
then it'll be have to be trimmed out
2:59
with the light uh lens will go and we'll
3:03
get this together hopefully tomorrow all
3:05
welded up and then fit the joint to the
3:08
the back section it's already welded up
3:10
and you'll have a complete Fender so
3:13
Spencer thanks for taking the class
3:15
thanks it's been a a real Joy having you
3:17
here and uh we still got a couple more
3:19
days let's see what we can get done
3:21
Spencer was a a beginner before come
3:23
into my class he had really never shaped
3:27
before and his felt his result here are
3:32
extraordinary and I'll keep up with the
3:34
videos and keep you're informed as it
3:37
continues he's going to stay here till
3:39
Saturday maybe he'll stay a little bit
3:41
longer get a little bit more done but
3:44
there you are it's Ray from Pro shaper
3:47
Workshop in Charon Massachusetts thanks
