where we learn things to the end time. What will happen?
0:12
Sorry. Give me a reason.
0:23
Pastor single freedom.
0:29
Okay.
0:38
Last week we heard the word of God.
0:53
[Music]
1:12
Yes, you are about to listen to the word of God today. And I believe that you have prepared your heart for the word
1:17
that will come. The reason I'm so sus is more of getting to the end time.
1:28
But it's up to us as Christians to stand and wait
1:34
for our maker here. So with a clap offering and a loud
1:42
shout, let's welcome our daddy to the podium as he give us the word for today.
1:47
Please, let's do it better for him. Let's do it better for him. Thank you so much. Let's be seated.
1:52
Thank you so much. Hallelujah. I'm excited to be here.
2:01
I'm excited to have everybody here. And are you ready for God's word?
2:06
Hallelujah. Thank you. So, I want to teach on the subject the siege of Jerusalem.
2:12
The siege of Jerusalem. Are you ready? Father, I thank you. I bless you. I give
2:19
you glory. I give you praise for this great work you're doing in our midst.
2:25
As we humble ourselves behind the will of God,
2:30
let the power of God flow through us, the wisdom of God flow through us to bless your people in Jesus name. Amen.
2:40
Um, for two Sundays, I've been explaining the book of Revelation by
2:45
summing them up into events and using the ical timeline to explain the
2:53
similitude or the analogy or the um
2:59
dark speeches involved in the book of revelation and the idea is that so we
3:05
can understand and grasps the words of God in the wisdom and the grace of our
3:10
almighty. I said last week that the earth was created for dominion. Therefore, as long
3:18
as the earth remain, there must be one who rules over the earth. This is why we
3:23
have a warfare all the time. That is why war is waged against the kingdom
3:29
children and also the children of darkness. This is why because there's a
3:34
competition always for one who has who must rule. One who has the right to rule
3:40
and one who hopes to impose his rule. Hallelujah. So the earth has been always an era of
3:47
conquest and wars. And we've had leaderships and great men and great women, those inconsequential, those
3:55
consequential, those prominent, those not prominent, who have come and gone,
4:00
but all within the plan and the timeline and the will of God. Are you with me,
4:05
church? Amen. So this morning, I'm going to speak about the city of Jerusalem. Why?
4:13
Because the other part of the prophecy, the abomination of desolation has to be declared or has to be explained.
4:21
We have learned of the times and seasons that God has stated on the face of this
4:29
earth. We've learned up to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ that he has come
4:34
and he has established the last kingdom on the face of this earth that shall
4:39
never end both here and in heaven. when he was born, when he died, when he
4:44
resurrected, he had established the kingdom of God on the face of this earth
4:50
forever. Are you with me? But in that prophecy that Daniel gave, Daniel spoke that
4:57
there must be something known as the abomination of desolation. Is it going to come now or has it
5:05
happened? Ladies and gentlemen, the abomination of desolation has already happened.
5:11
The word abomination of desolation simply means when something that is not
5:18
meant to have happened should have happened in the interest of something coming to an end or being irrelevant
5:26
again. Simply put, it was a word that
5:31
God meant to declare an end to his love,
5:36
favoritism and acceptance of Israel permanently.
5:41
It was it was something to tell the world that God will have nothing to do with
5:48
Israel again until the new Jerusalem is built in heaven. Hallelujah.
5:55
God had a plan. He chose a people, loved them, and made them his own people on
6:01
the face of this earth. And so long as they were willing to obey him, he will
6:06
make them his peculiar treasures on the of this earth. But Israel could not
6:13
understand the God of heaven. And constantly God went against God's will.
6:18
Constantly tried to find ways to manipulate and control God. And consistently they did that. God will
6:24
send prophets to warn them, tell them to walk away from idolism, walk away from humanism, walk away from earthly earthly
6:32
things, to walk away from the things that's disassociated him from them. Yet the men of Israel, women of Israel will
6:39
not go. Then God said, "Then this is what will happen. At a certain dispensation, I
6:45
would end I would end my glory, my statutes, my
6:53
power in Jerusalem." Now, please understand this that the temple of Jerusalem stood for God's presence among
7:01
his people. Remember that. The Bible says when two or I am there. When the two of us came from
7:09
our home, three of us, four of us came our home and said, "We're coming to come together in the presence of God." God
7:14
was here or decided to be even ahead of us. Are you with me? So the temple
7:20
wasn't just a place of worship. It was symbolic. The reason why the Israelites would carry the ark of covenant into battle
7:27
all the time is because it represented the presence of God with them. And if God was in the battle, definitely they
7:33
would not lose. So symbolically God in his wisdom from
7:38
generation to generation had explained to them that his temple his worship his
7:43
way of life that he's given them is what will make them unique. When you open the book of Exodus the Bible says what group
7:50
of people are we so special that God will show us his precepts, his directions, his commandments.
7:57
What made us a peculiar and special people is that God showed us there was a way through forgiveness of sin by the
8:03
shed of the blood. There was a place where we brought prayers to. There was a
8:09
place where we worship. We gathered in his name. This is what made Israel special. Everything Israel had, every
8:16
other nation had and had better than them. But what made Israel special? What
8:21
made Israel mighty was the temple. And if that desolation has already
8:27
happened, it means that the current nation you know called Israel isn't the nation that God said was Israel. Are you
8:35
there? And I'm coming to improve these revelations with you. I'm making bold statements upon which I will build the
8:41
fundamentals of this teaching on. There is a nation today in the world called Israel. I know some of you know,
8:48
some of you worship it as if it's the nation that God created, that God made special. No, they are dwelling on a land
8:54
where that happened. But the people are not the people of God.
9:00
Understand me? Okay. The people of the nation Israel isn't
9:08
the Israel in the Bible. They may be dwelling in the same place, but they are not.
9:14
Why do I say that? In the prophecy, God said that after the desolation happens, they will no longer become a nation
9:20
again. until Jesus comes the second time to reign this earth after the millennia.
9:25
The Bible said he will create a new heaven and a new Jerusalem. Are you with me?
9:33
Are you with me? So if there is an Israel preceding this time, then it is not in the timeline of the Bible. Maybe
9:40
in the Torah. I am not an expert on the Torah, but I'm teaching what I have been taught
9:46
from the Bible. Hallelujah. So we walk through the scriptures and understand it. Amen.
9:51
Join me then. The book of Daniel says in Daniel 9:26, "And thereafter three score
9:57
and two weeks shall the Messiah be cut off." The Messiah be cut off, the death of the Messiah, but not of himself. The
10:04
people of the prince, the people of the prince shall come and destroy the city and the
10:11
sanctuary. And the end of it therefore shall be with a flood. Unto the end of the war
10:19
desolations are determined. When the angel came and wanted to
10:25
explain to Daniel, he told Daniel that there is going to come an end to the
10:31
sanctuary. There's going to come an end to the city of Jerusalem
10:37
and it will follow after the Messiah has died or the Messiah has resurrected and
10:43
gone into heaven. Messiah has been cut off. He's been he's
10:48
gone. The Holy Spirit has now come. The Messiah has gone into heaven. Come on earth, gone into heaven. Are you with
10:54
me? And the Bible said there will be an end of the city and an end of the
11:00
sanctuary. Listen, God is very particular about the use of words. God didn't say there shall be a temporal
11:07
destruction. He said there shall be an end of the sanctuary. There shall be an end of the city and it will also follow
11:15
flood and wars and desolations. In the book of Luke 21 2024, recording
11:23
the account of what happened during the time of Jesus Christ, the Bible said so many people were looking at the temple
11:31
of Jerusalem. And please note the temple at Jesus's time wasn't the temple that Solomon built. Solomon's temple was
11:38
destroyed by the Babylonians. Solomon's temple was destroyed by the Babylonians, by Nebuchadnezzar the
11:45
first. And then after several years, the temple got built again. Are you with me? But
11:52
the person who built this temple was not a Jew. He was Herod. King Herod.
12:00
And King Herod had come to really love the people and love the Jewish people.
12:07
Because the Jews could not accept him because he did not come from the royal family of the Jews. They did not want to
12:14
accept him as a leader. But built this temple on the old temple
12:21
rock where the first temple was. And Herod built a magnificent temple which
12:27
today is still there that the people in Israel and Palestine are fighting over that land.
12:34
You go into Israel, you find a temple with almost like a golden globe on top of it. That is the temple I'm referring
12:41
to which lived in Jesus's time. And the temple was Beautifully designed
12:47
after the nature of what King Solomon built but bigger than what King Solomon built. Bigger. Remember when King
12:54
Solomon was building a temple, he had instruction from his father who had spoken to God and asked him to build the
13:01
temple in the structure and nature of the ark of covenant. Sorry, of the uh
13:07
tabernacle and tent worship. David established the tent worship. Remember
13:12
we had the most holy of holies but everything was built around a tent. Huh? And so God told him to build another
13:19
temple, physical temple that followed the same design, same structure.
13:25
So when the second temple was being built, history tells us that it was built on the same architecture
13:35
only bigger, massive, reinforced and protected than Solomon's home.
13:43
Why? They did not want the temple to end. They wanted the temple worship to stay there forever. And so when they
13:50
designed the temple, they designed three important walls to cover Jerusalem.
13:55
Three important walls to protect Jerusalem. Each wall was stronger than the other. The first wall was strong.
14:02
The second wall was far stronger than the first one. And the third wall was impenetrable.
14:09
It was the last wall that covered where the temple was. They made sure that even if there was a
14:15
war, they will survive. and the temple will survive and there will not be another episode like that of the book of
14:22
the first millions. Are you with me? Can I continue from
14:29
there? And the Bible said in Jesus's days the people looked at the beauty of the temple, the gold, the adornings, the
14:36
beautiful stones, how the architecture was perfect, how everything was awesome. Why? Because Solomon's days and Herod's
14:43
days, they had moved in technology. They developed in wisdom. They've now been
14:49
perfect at the work of construction. They built a far superior, nicer temple.
14:57
But the most holy of holies, did they not have the ark of covenant because by that time when the Babylonians came and destroyed the temple, they destroyed the
15:03
ark of covenant and was lost forever. So the second temple did not have the ark of covenant inside the most holy of
15:10
holies. But had every other thing created. Are you with me?
15:15
And why this temple was so important was that Herod made sure that only priest
15:22
built the most holy of holies. All other things could be built but the holy of holies was built by priest because he
15:28
felt they were sanctified and their hands was perfect. And if they worked and built it, God will have pleasure in
15:35
the most holy of holies together. But it was an empty room without any act of comfort. Are you with me? And the Bible
15:43
said when the people were looking at Jerusalem and and uh they were uh
15:49
beautifying this place, Jesus began to speak certain words, declare certain
15:54
revelations. Jesus said that not even one stone of this temple shall be left
16:01
stand. That's when they got angry at him. What do you mean? Do you know it took us 900
16:07
years to build this temple?
16:12
Let's read Luke 1. We'll go to the other verse. Let's look from Luke 21. Say, "And when you shall see Jerusalem
16:21
surrounded by armies," the word compassed, "Surrounded by armies, then know that the desolation that was
16:27
prophesied has come to pass." Then let them which are in Judea flee to the
16:32
mountains, and let them which are in the midst of it depart out. Let not them
16:38
that are in the countries enter therein. For these be the days of vengeance, that
16:44
all things which were written be fulfilled. The days of what? Vengeance. God himself taking vengeance on his
16:52
people. For all the things they kept doing, he kept forgiving them and warning them. But woe unto them that are
16:59
with child and to them that give sack in those days. For there shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this
17:06
people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword. They're going to die
17:13
by the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations
17:18
and Jerusalem shall be throtten down of the
17:25
Is it is that is that there in your Bible? So it means that the Jerusalem that had honor and respect
17:35
The reason that God had respect upon would end until the times of the Gentiles be
17:42
fulfilled. Hallelujah.
17:48
Sorry. Go back. Please go back. Now to understand the word the times of the
17:54
Gentiles, we need to understand what Jesus is trying to say. So the word the times of the gentile
18:00
refers to a biblical period characterized by gentile domination over Jerusalem and the Jewish people.
18:07
Beginning with Nebuchadnezzar the first or Babylonian invasion under Nebuchadnezzar and extending it will end
18:13
after the second coming of Jesus Christ. Not the rapture but after the second coming to rule this earth a millennia.
18:19
Then the times of the Gentiles will be fully fulfilled. Are you understanding me?
18:24
So this period also is known as the time for the spread of the gospel. Are you with me?
18:30
So if a nation rises up today and claim that they are the Jewish nation that God spoke about in the Bible, it is a fraud
18:42
according to Christian Bible. I don't know about the rest. Okay, let's continue.
18:48
This era signifies a time of divine judgment upon Israel for his disobedience and rejection of God's
18:54
covenant while also highlighting God's sovereignty over human history and the
19:00
ultimate fulfillment of his promises to both Israel and the church.
19:07
It's important to note that according to Daniel 9:26, an army led by a prince
19:14
shall destroy the city of Jerusalem and the temple of Jerusalem. This will happen after the death and the absence
19:20
of the Messiah. A war that will end all things for the
19:25
Jewish people. The end of the war shall bring desolation, a determined council
19:32
of God to bring an end. irre irrelevancy of the system of the Jewish people.
19:42
Luke 21:20 affirms Jerusalem shall be surrounded by armies.
19:48
The days of vengeance, it states also that it will be the
19:53
fulfillment of all things. They shall fall by the edge of the sword, led away captive into all
19:59
nations. It never prophesies they will come back together. Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles. This means
20:07
that God shall reject Israel openly and publicly.
20:14
Are you with me, church? Thank you.
20:19
Can I move on?
20:28
All right. So you remember when I showed you this the chronological or the timeline of biblical events and prophecy
20:35
you see where there's a cross of Jesus Christ in there. So then the kingdom begins Pentecost the
20:42
kingdom begins. Now the king of God is established. It ends after the
20:48
millennia. this period from Nebuchadnezzar's period
20:54
in 70 um um that began the 70 year captivity
21:00
till the reign or millennial reign of Christ. This period is what we know is
21:06
known in history as the times of the Gentiles, the times of the
21:12
Thank you. Remember that on this timeline I state that a man a prince
21:18
called Titus. Why is he a prince? Because his father became the emperor of Rome.
21:24
His father began the war. Flavius began the war against
21:31
Jerusalem because Israel refused to humble themselves under Rome.
21:37
And so he led a camp a campaign against them for many years and not succeed.
21:44
Then at one point in time, he was appointed the emperor of Rome. And so he led the war. He left the war and the
21:51
conquest of Jerusalem into his son's hands who was prince. He was called Titus.
21:57
Are you with me? And Titus was the one who destroyed just as prophesied the final temple.
22:06
Are you with me? So we'll come back to this again.
22:12
Luke 21:5 and to 333. And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly
22:19
stones and gift, he said, Jesus said, as of these things which ye see, the days
22:25
will come in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall
22:31
not be thrown down. And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these
22:37
things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? So
22:42
they ask Jesus a specific question about the temple. Jesus adds a lot of other
22:47
things to the subject. The reason why we are reading this way is because this is
22:53
not vivid recording of of everything that happened in the Bible. Listen,
22:58
happened Jesus's days. This is an account of what somebody remembers. Are
23:03
you understanding me? So sometimes you can find some of the writings something he probably that was said 15
23:10
days ago from 30 days apart being added in one summation because that is what he
23:15
remembers. Are you with me? Good. So Jesus's
23:21
description gives us a clear or or Luke's description gives us a clear description of the things that he said.
23:29
He said take heed that you are not deceived. Ask for the sign. showing a sign said
23:35
many shall come in my name saying I am Christ but he has already come so Jesus
23:42
prophesizes of the antichrist or the one who is not Christ who deceives others to
23:47
think he's Christ and will draw many he said and and they will tell you that the
23:53
time is near the end is near says do not go after them but when you shall hear of
23:59
wars commotions be not afraid For these things must first come to pass
24:07
but the end has not come. You start hearing wars and stuff the end the world
24:13
is not ending. When you see war and commotion and nation, it is not the end of time. Never
24:20
says the end of time. I didn't say that. Jesus said that a lot of people have interpreted pastors have
24:26
read this interpreted that so Jesus's word says that when you hear wars and you hear of commotions,
24:34
please do not be terrified. These things must first come. But the fact that they
24:40
have come to pass is no indication that the end has come. Then
24:46
he said unto them, "Nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. Great
24:52
earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines and pestilence and fearful
24:58
sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. But before all these, they
25:04
shall lay their hands on you." Says, "Before all of these great earthquakes
25:09
and war against war," he says that even before all these things will happen, which to the end. He says that they
25:16
shall lay their house on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the
25:22
synagogues and into prisons. Jesus has not yet gone to heaven. He saw that his
25:27
disciples are going to be persecuted. Are you there? Are you there with me?
25:34
Delivering you up to the synagogues into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
25:42
and it shall be unto you for a testimony. Therefore, believe this in your hearts,
25:48
not to think twice about what to answer them when they ask you a question in judgment. For I'll give you a mouth and
25:56
wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gain say or resist.
26:02
16 And you shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren, and king folks,
26:07
tribesmen, and friends. And some of you shall cause to be put to death. Some of
26:15
you, they shall cause you to be put to death. Are you with me?
26:23
And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake, but there shall not one
26:28
hair of your head suffer or perish in your your patience possess your souls.
26:38
20 when you shall see Jerusalem. Now he's coming to the abomation of
26:43
desolation. When you shall see said the evidence for you to see the evidence for
26:49
you to see that the abomation desolation has come. He said when you see that sign run away from the city.
26:56
I told you that the war began for almost seven for almost 70 years or so I think. I'm not too sure. For several years I'm
27:03
not too sure. I have to be sure about this fact. for several years and the emperor who was fighting against them
27:10
could not win the battle. But later when he was empowered as the emperor to head
27:15
Rome, his son, he appointed his son to be in charge to quell the insurrection
27:24
or the rebellion of Israel from wanting not to be at their own.
27:29
So his son was the one who destroyed. So his son put together great arms. It took days for them to pick, took months for
27:36
them to gather the armies. When you start seeing the armies gathering against Jerusalem, all the armies gathering, know for sure that the end of
27:44
the temple, the end of Jerusalem has come. They know that the desolation therefore
27:50
is nigh. And let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let them which are in the mount, those who are in the
27:57
midst of it depart out, and let not them that are in the countries enter there.
28:03
For these shall be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto
28:10
them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days. For there shall be great distress in the land, and
28:17
wrath upon this people, and they shall fall by the edge of the soul, and shall be led away captive into all nations,
28:25
and Jerusalem shall be throtten down of the Gentiles until the times. So,
28:31
there's an end to this. until the times of what? The Gentiles be fulfilled.
28:38
And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars and upon the earth, distress of nations with
28:45
perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.
28:54
Now listen to this. Now he begins to talk about the end. You see now see how Jesus Christ has labeled the says now
29:00
after these things that the times of Gentile has been fulfilled now comes the end of the world. Are you there?
29:07
He begins to describe the signs for the end of the world. Are you following me?
29:13
He says there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon, in the stars and upon the earth, distress of nations with
29:18
perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. Men's hearts will fail them of
29:24
the fear for looking after those things which are coming in the earth. For the
29:29
powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Then shall they see the son of man
29:35
coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
29:41
When these things shall begin to come to pass, then look up and lift your heads.
29:47
And he spake to them a parable. Behold the fig tree and all the trees when they
29:55
when they now shoot forth you see and know of your ownelves that summer is now
30:02
near at hand. So likewise when you see these things come to pass. Know ye that
30:08
the kingdom of God is at hand. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not
30:13
pass. Has Jesus has delivered two three or
30:19
three different prophecies. One concerning the end of Jerusalem. Are you there? He's told us of the signs and
30:26
things that will happen. Then he speaks he speaks of his the final judgment when he comes to judge the earth. Bible
30:32
speaks about the earth. The clouds will gather like carpets. They will roll under his feet. Said the powers of the
30:38
heavens. Everything in the heavens will shake will bow to the power of Jesus Christ coming. And men when men see they
30:45
will be afraid. They'll be so afraid. No m how powerful and strong, whatever
30:50
weapons they think they have, whatever nuclear powers they think they have, Bible says that they shall be afraid.
30:56
Are you with me? Jesus said this generation, the generation means 100 years. Jesus said
31:02
what I have prophesied within 100 years will all be fulfilled. He was not referring to the end of this world. He
31:09
was referring to Jerusalem. Are you with me? Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass. Jesus said,
31:17
"These words are sure. No matter what we do, they will come to pass." So, we'll
31:23
revisit the other part of Jesus's prophecy later. For now, I want to concentrate on these relevant things
31:29
that will help us in our teaching. Number one,
31:43
persecution designed by God for our own testimony. Gift of speech and wisdom.
31:49
Verse 15, you shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinfols and
31:55
friends and mi. that he said the signs from 263 he
32:01
speaks of the signs of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Are we okay
32:08
here? Wave your hand. Let me see if you're following me. If you're following me, wave your hand. If you need help
32:14
following me, let me know. Put your hand down now. I know your hand is up.
32:20
I'm going on now. Listen.
32:27
There are things that are required for us to set
32:33
as principles on which this revelation must be discussed. Number one, that the
32:38
final destruction, there shall not be another temple to destroy.
32:43
I don't know how many of you have noticed, do you know that the Palestinians who lived in that land before the Jews
32:49
came to take it, they did not destroy the temple? They did not destroy the temple. This
32:56
whole this whole issue, this whole issue about the fight over Islam, have you ever seen
33:03
that the Arabs or anybody has decided to bomb that temple?
33:08
Are you following what I'm trying to teach? So, it is the final destruction of the
33:14
temple of Jerusalem. Be an error of deception. There will come an era of deception, false
33:20
prophets, false teachers, and false Christ. Jesus declares in Luke 21:8,
33:25
"Wars and commotions are not signs of the end." Some of you because
33:43
Are you with me? Nation shall rise against nation, kingdoms against kingdoms.
33:50
Famine, pestilence, earthquakes, and fearful signs in the sky shall begin
33:56
after the era of persecution and madom.
34:02
The era of persecution of believers and their madom. This generation shall not
34:08
pass, Jesus says, till all be fulfilled with exception of verses 26, 25, 26, 28,
34:14
27. An abomin abomination desolation and the days of vengeance. Luke 21:20, 24.
34:22
He spoke of what must happen within 100 years of his time on earth, the second
34:28
coming of Christ to reign the earth for one millennia.
34:34
I want you to look at this picture. This is a p representation
34:40
though I find this a little bit lacking proper description. This is somebody's
34:46
attempt to draw. Okay, we want to give him some credit for
34:51
attempting to draw. Now the temple was built on a rock. Jerusalem has always been a city on a
34:57
mountain. Are you with me? Are you with me? So in my defense the city would have
35:05
been where the soldiers are. Are you with me? But this is just an artistic attempt to let you see what was
35:11
happening. So this is not really the picture of what happened. Roman Emperor Titus with Tiberious Julius Alexander as
35:18
a second command, second in command, besieged and conquered the city of Jerusalem which had been occupied by
35:24
Jewish defenders since 66 AD.
35:29
Good. Now I would like to quote a Jewish historian. It's called he's called
35:35
Flavio Josephus. Josephus is a is a Jewish historian.
35:41
He's not a Christian historian. He works for the Jews. Uh this is his recording.
35:48
He lived closer. That means he was alive earlier before all of us. When Jesus
35:55
came and died gradually within within less than 100 years he was born. So There was evidence
36:02
of the things that was there. There was history that was available to him. And this is why he recorded them for
36:08
generations to hear. Are you with me? Said these things took place in a manner
36:13
in the second year of the reign of Vipassia in accordance with the prophecies of our
36:20
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is a Jew. This is a Jew. Look at his words carefully. This is a Jew. The rest of
36:28
the Jews don't believe there's a Jesus Christ who is a Messiah. But he says in
36:33
accordance with the prophecies of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who by
36:38
divine power saw them beforehand as if they were already present and wept and
36:44
mourned according to the statement of the holy evangelist who gave the very
36:50
who gave this very words which be uttered. When as if addressing Jerusalem
36:56
herself, he said, "If thou has known even thou in this day the which belong
37:02
onto thy peace. But now they are hid from thy eyes.
37:09
Flyio Josephus, a personal witness to the events, claimed that over 1,100
37:16
people were killed during the initial siege. Sorry, 1.1 million said 1,000 1.1
37:21
million was killed at the beginning of the war, which a majority were Jews.
37:28
97,000 were captured and enslaved and many fled to areas around the
37:34
Mediterranean. Titus reportedly refused to accept a wreath of victory. When they conquer
37:40
Jerusalem, when you go to war and you conquer Jerusalem, your soldiers make up, you know, the wreath, the things you
37:46
take to a funeral, you know, a reef wreath, they create a nice one that they put on your neck as the victor, as one
37:53
who has won the victory. These are the words of the man who conquered Jerusalem. This is what he said. He said
38:00
there is no merit in vanquishing a people who had been forsaken by their
38:05
God. Huh? The man that conquered Jerusale said he
38:11
said God was not here otherwise I would not have won the war. Look at his word said their God was
38:17
never there. This is not a war. This is just this is just a simple walk in and
38:22
take. said if God and it wasn't simple they fought for years listen said it fought
38:30
for yeah I think months or so seven months or so said if God was here I
38:35
wouldn't have said there's no merit there's no boasting about this vanquishing the people who have been
38:40
forsaken by their God the rejection I spoke about during the siege there was mass starvation why when they tried to
38:49
enter the city I said the was made of three walls they attempt to break the city. The first war did not
38:56
work and so they lost the battle and decided that they will not stop until
39:03
they conquer Jerusalem. So what they did is they look for more armies, empower themselves and build armies all around
39:10
the city, all around the whole nation of Jerusalem and then they built a wall so
39:15
that nobody can come and supply them goods or services. Nobody can bring them food or water.
39:21
Are you with me? So they cut off all the supplies to Jerusalem. So there was starvation Jesus
39:28
Christ promised. There was farming for them. There was nothing they could grow. They were they were waring. They were
39:35
eating up all their food stores. There was nowhere they could buy these things from because the Romans had conquered or
39:43
had built a wall around them and made sure it was impossible for any help to reach them.
39:50
So the according to historians he said during the siege there was mass starvation in which cannibalism was
39:57
widely widely occurred got to a time they were eating themselves up it is believe some mothers even devoured their
40:03
own children later there were even mass crucifixions to the degree that wood eventually became unavailable
40:10
when the Romans catch them and they killed them they crucified them and put them on wood to time there was no wood around there they have cut all the woods
40:16
just to murder them and show examples so that they would break the spirits and the minds of those who were fighting to
40:23
prevent the city from being captured. Let us consider what major early church
40:28
historian this is Flavio also quoting an earlier historian than him who was
40:34
called wrote about these dreadful events. He wrote around 3:25 BC close to those
40:43
events with extensive records. Sorry, sorry. Josephus was the earlier
40:49
one. I am saying let us consider major early church historian who drawing from the information of
40:56
Flavius Josephus lived around AD 325. So using Flavius
41:05
Josephus history uh his documented
41:10
records um
41:17
provided this information. This is why he say it is fitting to to these accounts the true prediction of our
41:24
savior in which he fortold these very events. His words are as follows.
41:33
Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give sack in those days. Pray that your flight be not in the winter,
41:40
neither the Sabbath day. For there shall be great tribulation, great suffering. Such has not been seen since the
41:47
beginning of the world to this time nor or ever shall be.
41:55
Are you with me? M you can find this in Matthew 24:19, Luke 21:23-24.
42:01
It's important for us to know that after Nero had held the power 13 years, Galbal and ruled a year and six months.
42:09
Vespassian who had become distinguished in campaigns against the Jews was proclaimed sovereign in Judea and
42:16
received the title of emperor from the armies there. Setting out immediately therefore for Rome, he entrusted the
42:24
conduct of the war against the Jews to his son Titus who was the prince. Have you seen
42:31
for the Jews after the ascension of our savior in addition to their crime against him had been devising as many
42:37
plots as they could against his apostles first was stoned to death by them. After
42:44
him, James, the sons of Zebedee, the brother of John, was beheaded. And finally, James, the first that had
42:51
obtained episcopal seat, bishopic seat in Jerusalem after the ascension of our
42:56
savior Jesus, died in a manner also described, beheaded. But the rest of the apostles who had been incessantly
43:04
plotted against that is unrelentedly being plotted against to be killed
43:10
with a view to their destruction had been driven out of the land of Judea
43:15
went unto all nations to preach the gospel relying on the power of Christ who has said to them go and make
43:21
disciples of all the nations in my name. But the people of the church in Jerusalem had been condemned, commanded,
43:28
sorry, the people of the church in Jerusalem, they told you that James had become a bishop in Jerusalem church, the
43:33
Christian church in Jerusalem. This is the history they tell said the people one day in the church received the
43:39
vision and they were told that they should run away from Jerusalem. They were told run away.
43:47
Huh? Please note this part carefully. Please note this part carefully. On this
43:52
same principle, on this same principle shall the rapture happen. Same principle. Same path.
43:59
So the Bible said that um history tells us that the people the church in
44:04
Jerusalem which was under James who was beheaded they were one day there and they received the prophecy they should leave the city. They should all run out
44:11
of the city and go and dwell in the town called Perea or called Pella.
44:17
The B history tells immediately they all left. All the Christians left, all the
44:22
Christians left to Pella, the war began.
44:30
Just like God will come and rapture the faithful, the minute he raptures the faithful, the beginning of tribulations
44:37
and suffering and the rule of the antichrist shall come.
44:42
That's why Bible tells us to pray that we be raptured alone to escape the consequences of suffering that will come
44:48
on the face of the earth. Are you with me? Good.
44:56
This is a picture a slight picture of the second temple
45:02
that was built which is strong. This another picture showing the war going
45:07
on. That big You see the altar where the
45:13
incense is spent on the blood is shed.
45:18
Are you there? This is this is just this is pictorial. This is not there
45:24
photographer to photo this. So somebody paint something according to what he thinks he saw.
45:31
This is usually venance against
45:38
God. Yes. put them together on covenant, one
45:43
covenant that they will obey him. Obedience, that they will follow his commandments
45:48
and never stop. Huh? They got to a time, yes, they were
45:54
following commandments, but they were not following the way God has instructed them to. They began to make themselves,
46:03
they began to make themselves more important than God. You know, they even tell Moses what to put in the law, what to remove. They kept on They kept on God
46:11
every second. They just won't stop. Someone eats come up with another mind and then comes against God's will. They
46:18
all follow and God kept his patience until Christ is born. After Christ had
46:23
come after they crucified, after he had died on the cross, resurrected, preached among them for 40 days and they have
46:28
seen him still. They were still willing to kill his apostles to shut him up.
46:34
These people just not stop irrespective one excuse over the other, one justification over the other for every
46:40
evil they did. That is common in our lives today, isn't it? We all have some
46:46
behavior, some kind of context for worldly appraisal, worldly beauty. We
46:52
tend to think that God is irrelevant. He gave us Israel for example, the
46:58
nation that he loved above all other nations. He was still willing to punish
47:04
and to destroy. When those that believed in Christ had
47:10
come there from Jerusalem, then as if the royal city of the Jews and the whole land of Judea was entirely destitute of
47:16
holy men, the judgment of God at Lent overtook those who had committed such
47:23
outrages against Christ and his apostles and totally destroyed the generation of
47:33
Listen, the Jews were holy. Never think the Jews were not holy, but they were
47:38
never righteous. This is big revelation I'm teaching you today. Listen, open your ears. The Jews
47:46
were holy. Even Jesus said, "Unless your holiness can surpass these people." This
47:51
is Jesus Christ saying, not me. Unless your holiness can surpass that of the
47:56
Pharisees and you're not enter for holiness Jesus respected when it
48:02
comes to tight these people tight on their spice
48:16
they followed such principles this is Christ describing them not
48:25
But it did not send them into God's judgment still came.
48:31
When you follow holiness, when you break one law, you're broken all righteousness.
48:38
He pays the price. You accept that in faith, you walk into his rest. Are you
48:45
with me, brothers and sisters?
48:51
I don't know how to say this to you, but before today when I say certain things you're not comfortable,
48:57
the more you stay in my services, you tend to come to know what I know, why I say what I said earlier.
49:04
I even told you
49:10
come to study the word for yourself and understood it.
49:26
Israel because
49:34
of the highest they decided not to accept him because
49:40
it was beneath their standard.
49:46
Are you with me church? Listen, this also gives us one secret.
49:51
Are you watching me? One secret. That's the secret. This is the secret. Watch. The Bible said
49:59
that because of the righteous, we are not consumed.
50:04
Everything God does, every promise in scripture that God has made is never for holy people. It's for righteous people.
50:14
If Ghana nation have righteous people in it.
50:20
Ghana has a rightous God always find a way to protect this nation.
50:27
God always find a way to spare. Listen, Abraham asked God, if you shall find 10
50:33
righteous people in Sodom and Gome, he didn't say 10 holy people. If you shall
50:38
find 10 righteous people, shalt thou destroy the city? God said no.
50:44
Was God not angry at their sins? He was. But God wasn't going to touch the land or the dwelling or the substance of a
50:51
righteous person.
50:57
He asked again, are you with me?
51:03
So the angel has been sent to go and destroy, but he has an instruction. If only there's righteous. So the angels
51:10
could not destroy the city of Sodom Gomorra. They were not 10 righteous people there. There were not 10 people
51:18
but there was at least a few. There was what? There was who? Lot his wife
51:25
and daughters and their husbands. They were not even 10. But the angel will still not destroy the
51:31
city until they left the city.
51:37
Can I teach you something? It is our duty as a nation, as a church
51:44
to raise a righteous to protect our city.
51:49
Let me give you, I'm not saying that I'm righteous, but I am rightous because I believe in listener
52:05
is bigger than what you have. This is better. There's no money. There's no connection. There's no influence.
52:16
When I came, I knew I saw that Ghana's destiny was being destroyed. Was being planned to destroy.
52:24
When I came, I was grateful to God. I came. But it mattered to them. Listen, the
52:30
offer was too big. A church that has operated in existence for years before
52:35
will offer everything they have for me at my to take over. It was a joke. It was a
52:40
trap. Many pastors have gone and taken this thing. You know,
52:45
but I saw it and I said, "No, there's something I have to pray about." When I prayed, God revealed more
52:52
something that jumped the offer. This is not a poor ministry. Minister
52:58
said, "We want you to take over the church." So when I came and I saw what was
53:03
happening months later almost a year they came to Ghana and offered me again if I go they have a private flight they
53:10
go with are you with me
53:16
then I realized that my absence here was good for some people
53:23
my presence here was a stumbling block to some people are you understand what I'm trying to say
53:30
we need righteous men in this nation If you follow the path I'm teaching you today
53:36
doesn't matter what you cannot so long as you remain
53:43
righteous not me you righteousness nobody special nobody
53:51
of Jesus Christ and by that respect for Christ God will not permit anything bad to happen to our
54:02
I want to stick to but the number of calamities which ex which everywhere fell upon the nation at
54:09
that time the extreme misfortunes to which the inhabitants of Judea was especially subjected the thousands of
54:15
men as well as women and children that perished by the soul the famine and many
54:20
other forms of death innumerable all these things as well as many great
54:26
sieges which were carried on against the cities of Judea and the excessive suffering endured by those that fled to
54:33
Jerusalem itself as to a city of perfect safety and finally the general cause of
54:39
the whole war as well as its particular occurrences in detail and how at least
54:46
the abomination of desolation proclaimed by the prophets Daniel 9:27 stood in the very temple of
54:54
God so celebrated the temple which was now awaiting his
54:59
total his total and final destruction. When Solomon finished the temple, he
55:06
prayed to God that you be here that your presence will never
55:12
all these things one that wishes may find accurately described in the history.
55:19
Amen. Amen. It is necessary to state that this
55:25
writer records this writer records that the multitude of those who were assembled from all Judea at the time of
55:33
the Passover. Listen, it means that the destruction of the temple happened on
55:38
the Passover. It happened on the Passover to the
55:43
number of 3 million souls were shut up in Jerusalem as in a prison to use his
55:49
own words. For it was right that in the very days
55:56
in which they had inflicted suffering upon the savior and the benefactor of
56:02
all remember when told them that this man is guiltless I
56:07
cannot kill him for you I can't I can't pronounce that
56:12
wash his hands and said let his blood be upon said let his blood be upon us and our children they accepted the judgement they had no idea they were using their
56:20
emotions wisdom. They thought Christ, this is a man who raised your dead, cast
56:25
your devils out, walked in your temples, brought the dead back alive. You saw all
56:32
the righteous works he did. Yet for your ego, you were willing to do what is wrong to
56:39
justify your ego.
56:45
So you say God was being wicked. They accepted this judgement. God gave them multiple ways to escape it. They
56:50
accepted. They said keep us barabas but Jesus kill him. Are you sure this you
56:56
are doing is wrong? Me I'm a soldier soldier. I don't even believe in your God but this man is guiltless. I will
57:01
not be part of it. I washed my hands.
57:26
and the manufactur
57:34
at the hands of divine justice.
57:39
But passing by the particular but passing by the particular calamities which he has suffered from the from the
57:46
attempts made upon them by the sword and by other means. I think it necessary to relate only the misfortunes which the
57:53
famine caused. That those who read this may this work may have some means of
57:58
knowing that God was not long in executing vengeance upon them for their wickedness against Christ of God.
58:06
If you want to know where I got this machine from, I got it from the book. You can Google online, download this
58:12
book, church history. Church history, huh? Book number three and chapter four.
58:19
Everything I following sixth chapter of this work of
58:26
is so horrible that I have not included it here. But let no one feel that these
58:33
horror horrors which befell the Jews at that period of history are in any way
58:38
exaggerated. No exaggeration.
58:53
Ladies and gentlemen, at this stage, God
59:00
has fulfilled all other prophecies. If Jerusalem has come into existence
59:07
again to come as the new Jerusalem that is built after Jesus Christ comes
59:15
the second time. If we're Christian, Stop
59:21
joining misguided teachings, misrepresentations,
59:27
misinformation as if you owe it a duty to join a certain nation. You owe it a duty to
59:33
honor a certain group of people. You owe it a duty to learn from these
59:39
mistakes so you don't fall prey.
1:00:03
Amen. He gave them every excuse, every reason
1:00:09
for them to escape judgment, but they did not obey.
1:00:15
As I Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth,
1:00:20
and the life. No one will get to God outside Christ.
1:00:26
So until you accept and embrace Jesus Christ, there's no heaven for you. I don't care how holy you think you are. I
1:00:33
don't care what tribe, what religion you think you came from. But so long as you live on this earth, seek Jesus, walk
1:00:41
after him, embrace the culture of righteousness and miss the judgment
1:00:49
that will come after. Now there is nothing left.
1:00:55
All that is left is between now and Jesus comes a second time to come and
1:01:01
reign on this earth. What is left is the rapture.
1:01:07
We will go through scripture and find out just before the rapture what will
1:01:12
happen. Who will be raptured? Who will not be raptured?
1:01:18
Because the rapture is not for holy people. I'm going to say this again. This is going to hurt some people. The rapt for people who have been perfect.
1:01:25
I'll prove to you why. I'm not saying that sinners and bad
1:01:32
people are going to heaven. That's not what I'm saying. Listen to me carefully. We're going to find out by Jesus's own
1:01:39
words, by God's own word, by the prophecies declared in the book of Revelation, which people is he going to
1:01:45
rapture, which people will miss the reign of the antichrist and the things that will happen.
1:01:53
Then we will understand when heaven and hell shall come, when the end of time shall come.
1:02:04
There's one thing I'll tell you. Love your church.
1:02:15
Bow your head and let us pray.
1:02:25
Said the book of revelation is not a scary book. It's the understanding of it
1:02:30
that has made people preach things that are not even in it. declare things they cannot understand.
1:02:37
When the grace of God comes upon you to teach it, you understand that the events, the
1:02:44
similitudes, the the beast used what they stood for,
1:02:50
what these things meant in scripture will help you.
1:02:55
So when you are free download
1:03:06
the authentities of the things I'm saying and the things that God will tell you how God will open your spirit to
1:03:12
understand what is there
1:03:20
I want you to speak to God
1:03:26
said these things happened to them for examples that we learn from it.
1:03:32
Please do not let us
1:03:38
desire to be by your side. The fact that you are coming, your word
1:03:43
doesn't tell me that I should not go ahead and work. Your word doesn't tell me I should not go ahead and plan my
1:03:49
future, my marriage. Even your word said that whilst you are coming peopleing moving forward because this is the way
1:03:55
of life. This is what we are supposed to do. But we are supposed to embrace your
1:04:00
righteousness and to walk in the forgiveness that is given through your blood and faith in you.
1:04:08
Therefore Jesus, impart our lives in the right direction
1:04:13
to do what is true in the name of the father and of the son and the holy spirit.
1:04:21
Amen. Somebody offering to Jesus,
1:04:32
please take out your second offering and speak over your offering.
1:04:38
Speak over your speak over your offering.
1:04:46
Speak over your offering. [Music]
