where we learn things to the end time. What will happen?

Last week we heard the word of God.

Yes, you are about to listen to the word of God today. And I believe that you have prepared your heart for the word

that will come. The reason I'm so sus is more of getting to the end time.

But it's up to us as Christians to stand and wait

for our maker here. So with a clap offering and a loud

shout, let's welcome our daddy to the podium as he give us the word for today.

Please, let's do it better for him. Let's do it better for him. Thank you so much. Let's be seated.

Thank you so much. Hallelujah. I'm excited to be here.

I'm excited to have everybody here. And are you ready for God's word?

Hallelujah. Thank you. So, I want to teach on the subject the siege of Jerusalem.

The siege of Jerusalem. Are you ready? Father, I thank you. I bless you. I give

you glory. I give you praise for this great work you're doing in our midst.

As we humble ourselves behind the will of God,

let the power of God flow through us, the wisdom of God flow through us to bless your people in Jesus name. Amen.

Um, for two Sundays, I've been explaining the book of Revelation by

summing them up into events and using the ical timeline to explain the

similitude or the analogy or the um

dark speeches involved in the book of revelation and the idea is that so we

can understand and grasps the words of God in the wisdom and the grace of our

almighty. I said last week that the earth was created for dominion. Therefore, as long

as the earth remain, there must be one who rules over the earth. This is why we

have a warfare all the time. That is why war is waged against the kingdom

children and also the children of darkness. This is why because there's a

competition always for one who has who must rule. One who has the right to rule

and one who hopes to impose his rule. Hallelujah. So the earth has been always an era of

conquest and wars. And we've had leaderships and great men and great women, those inconsequential, those

consequential, those prominent, those not prominent, who have come and gone,

but all within the plan and the timeline and the will of God. Are you with me,

church? Amen. So this morning, I'm going to speak about the city of Jerusalem. Why?

Because the other part of the prophecy, the abomination of desolation has to be declared or has to be explained.

We have learned of the times and seasons that God has stated on the face of this

earth. We've learned up to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ that he has come

and he has established the last kingdom on the face of this earth that shall

never end both here and in heaven. when he was born, when he died, when he

resurrected, he had established the kingdom of God on the face of this earth

forever. Are you with me? But in that prophecy that Daniel gave, Daniel spoke that

there must be something known as the abomination of desolation. Is it going to come now or has it

happened? Ladies and gentlemen, the abomination of desolation has already happened.

The word abomination of desolation simply means when something that is not

meant to have happened should have happened in the interest of something coming to an end or being irrelevant

again. Simply put, it was a word that

God meant to declare an end to his love,

favoritism and acceptance of Israel permanently.

It was it was something to tell the world that God will have nothing to do with

Israel again until the new Jerusalem is built in heaven. Hallelujah.

God had a plan. He chose a people, loved them, and made them his own people on

the face of this earth. And so long as they were willing to obey him, he will

make them his peculiar treasures on the of this earth. But Israel could not

understand the God of heaven. And constantly God went against God's will.

Constantly tried to find ways to manipulate and control God. And consistently they did that. God will

send prophets to warn them, tell them to walk away from idolism, walk away from humanism, walk away from earthly earthly

things, to walk away from the things that's disassociated him from them. Yet the men of Israel, women of Israel will

not go. Then God said, "Then this is what will happen. At a certain dispensation, I

would end I would end my glory, my statutes, my

power in Jerusalem." Now, please understand this that the temple of Jerusalem stood for God's presence among

his people. Remember that. The Bible says when two or I am there. When the two of us came from

our home, three of us, four of us came our home and said, "We're coming to come together in the presence of God." God

was here or decided to be even ahead of us. Are you with me? So the temple

wasn't just a place of worship. It was symbolic. The reason why the Israelites would carry the ark of covenant into battle

all the time is because it represented the presence of God with them. And if God was in the battle, definitely they

would not lose. So symbolically God in his wisdom from

generation to generation had explained to them that his temple his worship his

way of life that he's given them is what will make them unique. When you open the book of Exodus the Bible says what group

of people are we so special that God will show us his precepts, his directions, his commandments.

What made us a peculiar and special people is that God showed us there was a way through forgiveness of sin by the

shed of the blood. There was a place where we brought prayers to. There was a

place where we worship. We gathered in his name. This is what made Israel special. Everything Israel had, every

other nation had and had better than them. But what made Israel special? What

made Israel mighty was the temple. And if that desolation has already

happened, it means that the current nation you know called Israel isn't the nation that God said was Israel. Are you

there? And I'm coming to improve these revelations with you. I'm making bold statements upon which I will build the

fundamentals of this teaching on. There is a nation today in the world called Israel. I know some of you know,

some of you worship it as if it's the nation that God created, that God made special. No, they are dwelling on a land

where that happened. But the people are not the people of God.

Understand me? Okay. The people of the nation Israel isn't

the Israel in the Bible. They may be dwelling in the same place, but they are not.

Why do I say that? In the prophecy, God said that after the desolation happens, they will no longer become a nation

again. until Jesus comes the second time to reign this earth after the millennia.

The Bible said he will create a new heaven and a new Jerusalem. Are you with me?

Are you with me? So if there is an Israel preceding this time, then it is not in the timeline of the Bible. Maybe

in the Torah. I am not an expert on the Torah, but I'm teaching what I have been taught

from the Bible. Hallelujah. So we walk through the scriptures and understand it. Amen.

Join me then. The book of Daniel says in Daniel 9:26, "And thereafter three score

and two weeks shall the Messiah be cut off." The Messiah be cut off, the death of the Messiah, but not of himself. The

people of the prince, the people of the prince shall come and destroy the city and the

sanctuary. And the end of it therefore shall be with a flood. Unto the end of the war

desolations are determined. When the angel came and wanted to

explain to Daniel, he told Daniel that there is going to come an end to the

sanctuary. There's going to come an end to the city of Jerusalem

and it will follow after the Messiah has died or the Messiah has resurrected and

gone into heaven. Messiah has been cut off. He's been he's

gone. The Holy Spirit has now come. The Messiah has gone into heaven. Come on earth, gone into heaven. Are you with

me? And the Bible said there will be an end of the city and an end of the

sanctuary. Listen, God is very particular about the use of words. God didn't say there shall be a temporal

destruction. He said there shall be an end of the sanctuary. There shall be an end of the city and it will also follow

flood and wars and desolations. In the book of Luke 21 2024, recording

the account of what happened during the time of Jesus Christ, the Bible said so many people were looking at the temple

of Jerusalem. And please note the temple at Jesus's time wasn't the temple that Solomon built. Solomon's temple was

destroyed by the Babylonians. Solomon's temple was destroyed by the Babylonians, by Nebuchadnezzar the

first. And then after several years, the temple got built again. Are you with me? But

the person who built this temple was not a Jew. He was Herod. King Herod.

And King Herod had come to really love the people and love the Jewish people.

Because the Jews could not accept him because he did not come from the royal family of the Jews. They did not want to

accept him as a leader. But built this temple on the old temple

rock where the first temple was. And Herod built a magnificent temple which

today is still there that the people in Israel and Palestine are fighting over that land.

You go into Israel, you find a temple with almost like a golden globe on top of it. That is the temple I'm referring

to which lived in Jesus's time. And the temple was Beautifully designed

after the nature of what King Solomon built but bigger than what King Solomon built. Bigger. Remember when King

Solomon was building a temple, he had instruction from his father who had spoken to God and asked him to build the

temple in the structure and nature of the ark of covenant. Sorry, of the uh

tabernacle and tent worship. David established the tent worship. Remember

we had the most holy of holies but everything was built around a tent. Huh? And so God told him to build another

temple, physical temple that followed the same design, same structure.

So when the second temple was being built, history tells us that it was built on the same architecture

only bigger, massive, reinforced and protected than Solomon's home.

Why? They did not want the temple to end. They wanted the temple worship to stay there forever. And so when they

designed the temple, they designed three important walls to cover Jerusalem.

Three important walls to protect Jerusalem. Each wall was stronger than the other. The first wall was strong.

The second wall was far stronger than the first one. And the third wall was impenetrable.

It was the last wall that covered where the temple was. They made sure that even if there was a

war, they will survive. and the temple will survive and there will not be another episode like that of the book of

the first millions. Are you with me? Can I continue from

there? And the Bible said in Jesus's days the people looked at the beauty of the temple, the gold, the adornings, the

beautiful stones, how the architecture was perfect, how everything was awesome. Why? Because Solomon's days and Herod's

days, they had moved in technology. They developed in wisdom. They've now been

perfect at the work of construction. They built a far superior, nicer temple.

But the most holy of holies, did they not have the ark of covenant because by that time when the Babylonians came and destroyed the temple, they destroyed the

ark of covenant and was lost forever. So the second temple did not have the ark of covenant inside the most holy of

holies. But had every other thing created. Are you with me?

And why this temple was so important was that Herod made sure that only priest

built the most holy of holies. All other things could be built but the holy of holies was built by priest because he

felt they were sanctified and their hands was perfect. And if they worked and built it, God will have pleasure in

the most holy of holies together. But it was an empty room without any act of comfort. Are you with me? And the Bible

said when the people were looking at Jerusalem and and uh they were uh

beautifying this place, Jesus began to speak certain words, declare certain

revelations. Jesus said that not even one stone of this temple shall be left

stand. That's when they got angry at him. What do you mean? Do you know it took us 900

years to build this temple?

Let's read Luke 1. We'll go to the other verse. Let's look from Luke 21. Say, "And when you shall see Jerusalem

surrounded by armies," the word compassed, "Surrounded by armies, then know that the desolation that was

prophesied has come to pass." Then let them which are in Judea flee to the

mountains, and let them which are in the midst of it depart out. Let not them

that are in the countries enter therein. For these be the days of vengeance, that

all things which were written be fulfilled. The days of what? Vengeance. God himself taking vengeance on his

people. For all the things they kept doing, he kept forgiving them and warning them. But woe unto them that are

with child and to them that give sack in those days. For there shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this

people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword. They're going to die

by the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations

and Jerusalem shall be throtten down of the

Is it is that is that there in your Bible? So it means that the Jerusalem that had honor and respect

The reason that God had respect upon would end until the times of the Gentiles be

fulfilled. Hallelujah.

Sorry. Go back. Please go back. Now to understand the word the times of the

Gentiles, we need to understand what Jesus is trying to say. So the word the times of the gentile

refers to a biblical period characterized by gentile domination over Jerusalem and the Jewish people.

Beginning with Nebuchadnezzar the first or Babylonian invasion under Nebuchadnezzar and extending it will end

after the second coming of Jesus Christ. Not the rapture but after the second coming to rule this earth a millennia.

Then the times of the Gentiles will be fully fulfilled. Are you understanding me?

So this period also is known as the time for the spread of the gospel. Are you with me?

So if a nation rises up today and claim that they are the Jewish nation that God spoke about in the Bible, it is a fraud

according to Christian Bible. I don't know about the rest. Okay, let's continue.

This era signifies a time of divine judgment upon Israel for his disobedience and rejection of God's

covenant while also highlighting God's sovereignty over human history and the

ultimate fulfillment of his promises to both Israel and the church.

It's important to note that according to Daniel 9:26, an army led by a prince

shall destroy the city of Jerusalem and the temple of Jerusalem. This will happen after the death and the absence

of the Messiah. A war that will end all things for the

Jewish people. The end of the war shall bring desolation, a determined council

of God to bring an end. irre irrelevancy of the system of the Jewish people.

Luke 21:20 affirms Jerusalem shall be surrounded by armies.

The days of vengeance, it states also that it will be the

fulfillment of all things. They shall fall by the edge of the sword, led away captive into all

nations. It never prophesies they will come back together. Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles. This means

that God shall reject Israel openly and publicly.

Are you with me, church? Thank you.

Can I move on?

All right. So you remember when I showed you this the chronological or the timeline of biblical events and prophecy

you see where there's a cross of Jesus Christ in there. So then the kingdom begins Pentecost the

kingdom begins. Now the king of God is established. It ends after the

millennia. this period from Nebuchadnezzar's period

in 70 um um that began the 70 year captivity

till the reign or millennial reign of Christ. This period is what we know is

known in history as the times of the Gentiles, the times of the

Thank you. Remember that on this timeline I state that a man a prince

called Titus. Why is he a prince? Because his father became the emperor of Rome.

His father began the war. Flavius began the war against

Jerusalem because Israel refused to humble themselves under Rome.

And so he led a camp a campaign against them for many years and not succeed.

Then at one point in time, he was appointed the emperor of Rome. And so he led the war. He left the war and the

conquest of Jerusalem into his son's hands who was prince. He was called Titus.

Are you with me? And Titus was the one who destroyed just as prophesied the final temple.

Are you with me? So we'll come back to this again.

Luke 21:5 and to 333. And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly

stones and gift, he said, Jesus said, as of these things which ye see, the days

will come in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall

not be thrown down. And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these

things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? So

they ask Jesus a specific question about the temple. Jesus adds a lot of other

things to the subject. The reason why we are reading this way is because this is

not vivid recording of of everything that happened in the Bible. Listen,

happened Jesus's days. This is an account of what somebody remembers. Are

you understanding me? So sometimes you can find some of the writings something he probably that was said 15

days ago from 30 days apart being added in one summation because that is what he

remembers. Are you with me? Good. So Jesus's

description gives us a clear or or Luke's description gives us a clear description of the things that he said.

He said take heed that you are not deceived. Ask for the sign. showing a sign said

many shall come in my name saying I am Christ but he has already come so Jesus

prophesizes of the antichrist or the one who is not Christ who deceives others to

think he's Christ and will draw many he said and and they will tell you that the

time is near the end is near says do not go after them but when you shall hear of

wars commotions be not afraid For these things must first come to pass

but the end has not come. You start hearing wars and stuff the end the world

is not ending. When you see war and commotion and nation, it is not the end of time. Never

says the end of time. I didn't say that. Jesus said that a lot of people have interpreted pastors have

read this interpreted that so Jesus's word says that when you hear wars and you hear of commotions,

please do not be terrified. These things must first come. But the fact that they

have come to pass is no indication that the end has come. Then

he said unto them, "Nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. Great

earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines and pestilence and fearful

sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. But before all these, they

shall lay their hands on you." Says, "Before all of these great earthquakes

and war against war," he says that even before all these things will happen, which to the end. He says that they

shall lay their house on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the

synagogues and into prisons. Jesus has not yet gone to heaven. He saw that his

disciples are going to be persecuted. Are you there? Are you there with me?

Delivering you up to the synagogues into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

and it shall be unto you for a testimony. Therefore, believe this in your hearts,

not to think twice about what to answer them when they ask you a question in judgment. For I'll give you a mouth and

wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gain say or resist.

16 And you shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren, and king folks,

tribesmen, and friends. And some of you shall cause to be put to death. Some of

you, they shall cause you to be put to death. Are you with me?

And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake, but there shall not one

hair of your head suffer or perish in your your patience possess your souls.

20 when you shall see Jerusalem. Now he's coming to the abomation of

desolation. When you shall see said the evidence for you to see the evidence for

you to see that the abomation desolation has come. He said when you see that sign run away from the city.

I told you that the war began for almost seven for almost 70 years or so I think. I'm not too sure. For several years I'm

not too sure. I have to be sure about this fact. for several years and the emperor who was fighting against them

could not win the battle. But later when he was empowered as the emperor to head

Rome, his son, he appointed his son to be in charge to quell the insurrection

or the rebellion of Israel from wanting not to be at their own.

So his son was the one who destroyed. So his son put together great arms. It took days for them to pick, took months for

them to gather the armies. When you start seeing the armies gathering against Jerusalem, all the armies gathering, know for sure that the end of

the temple, the end of Jerusalem has come. They know that the desolation therefore

is nigh. And let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let them which are in the mount, those who are in the

midst of it depart out, and let not them that are in the countries enter there.

For these shall be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto

them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days. For there shall be great distress in the land, and

wrath upon this people, and they shall fall by the edge of the soul, and shall be led away captive into all nations,

and Jerusalem shall be throtten down of the Gentiles until the times. So,

there's an end to this. until the times of what? The Gentiles be fulfilled.

And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars and upon the earth, distress of nations with

perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.

Now listen to this. Now he begins to talk about the end. You see now see how Jesus Christ has labeled the says now

after these things that the times of Gentile has been fulfilled now comes the end of the world. Are you there?

He begins to describe the signs for the end of the world. Are you following me?

He says there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon, in the stars and upon the earth, distress of nations with

perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. Men's hearts will fail them of

the fear for looking after those things which are coming in the earth. For the

powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Then shall they see the son of man

coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

When these things shall begin to come to pass, then look up and lift your heads.

And he spake to them a parable. Behold the fig tree and all the trees when they

when they now shoot forth you see and know of your ownelves that summer is now

near at hand. So likewise when you see these things come to pass. Know ye that

the kingdom of God is at hand. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not

pass. Has Jesus has delivered two three or

three different prophecies. One concerning the end of Jerusalem. Are you there? He's told us of the signs and

things that will happen. Then he speaks he speaks of his the final judgment when he comes to judge the earth. Bible

speaks about the earth. The clouds will gather like carpets. They will roll under his feet. Said the powers of the

heavens. Everything in the heavens will shake will bow to the power of Jesus Christ coming. And men when men see they

will be afraid. They'll be so afraid. No m how powerful and strong, whatever

weapons they think they have, whatever nuclear powers they think they have, Bible says that they shall be afraid.

Are you with me? Jesus said this generation, the generation means 100 years. Jesus said

what I have prophesied within 100 years will all be fulfilled. He was not referring to the end of this world. He

was referring to Jerusalem. Are you with me? Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass. Jesus said,

"These words are sure. No matter what we do, they will come to pass." So, we'll

revisit the other part of Jesus's prophecy later. For now, I want to concentrate on these relevant things

that will help us in our teaching. Number one,

persecution designed by God for our own testimony. Gift of speech and wisdom.

Verse 15, you shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinfols and

friends and mi. that he said the signs from 263 he

speaks of the signs of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Are we okay

There are things that are required for us to set

as principles on which this revelation must be discussed. Number one, that the

final destruction, there shall not be another temple to destroy.

I don't know how many of you have noticed, do you know that the Palestinians who lived in that land before the Jews

came to take it, they did not destroy the temple? They did not destroy the temple. This

whole this whole issue, this whole issue about the fight over Islam, have you ever seen

that the Arabs or anybody has decided to bomb that temple?

Are you following what I'm trying to teach? So, it is the final destruction of the

temple of Jerusalem. Be an error of deception. There will come an era of deception, false

prophets, false teachers, and false Christ. Jesus declares in Luke 21:8,

"Wars and commotions are not signs of the end." Some of you because

Are you with me? Nation shall rise against nation, kingdoms against kingdoms.

Famine, pestilence, earthquakes, and fearful signs in the sky shall begin

after the era of persecution and madom.

The era of persecution of believers and their madom. This generation shall not

pass, Jesus says, till all be fulfilled with exception of verses 26, 25, 26, 28,

27. An abomin abomination desolation and the days of vengeance. Luke 21:20, 24.

He spoke of what must happen within 100 years of his time on earth, the second

coming of Christ to reign the earth for one millennia.

I want you to look at this picture. This is a p representation

though I find this a little bit lacking proper description. This is somebody's

attempt to draw. Okay, we want to give him some credit for

attempting to draw. Now the temple was built on a rock. Jerusalem has always been a city on a

mountain. Are you with me? Are you with me? So in my defense the city would have

been where the soldiers are. Are you with me? But this is just an artistic attempt to let you see what was

happening. So this is not really the picture of what happened. Roman Emperor Titus with Tiberious Julius Alexander as

a second command, second in command, besieged and conquered the city of Jerusalem which had been occupied by

Jewish defenders since 66 AD.

Good. Now I would like to quote a Jewish historian. It's called he's called

Flavio Josephus. Josephus is a is a Jewish historian.

He's not a Christian historian. He works for the Jews. Uh this is his recording.

He lived closer. That means he was alive earlier before all of us. When Jesus

came and died gradually within within less than 100 years he was born. So There was evidence

of the things that was there. There was history that was available to him. And this is why he recorded them for

generations to hear. Are you with me? Said these things took place in a manner

in the second year of the reign of Vipassia in accordance with the prophecies of our

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is a Jew. This is a Jew. Look at his words carefully. This is a Jew. The rest of

the Jews don't believe there's a Jesus Christ who is a Messiah. But he says in

accordance with the prophecies of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who by

divine power saw them beforehand as if they were already present and wept and

mourned according to the statement of the holy evangelist who gave the very

who gave this very words which be uttered. When as if addressing Jerusalem

herself, he said, "If thou has known even thou in this day the which belong

onto thy peace. But now they are hid from thy eyes.

Flyio Josephus, a personal witness to the events, claimed that over 1,100

people were killed during the initial siege. Sorry, 1.1 million said 1,000 1.1

million was killed at the beginning of the war, which a majority were Jews.

97,000 were captured and enslaved and many fled to areas around the

Mediterranean. Titus reportedly refused to accept a wreath of victory. When they conquer

Jerusalem, when you go to war and you conquer Jerusalem, your soldiers make up, you know, the wreath, the things you

take to a funeral, you know, a reef wreath, they create a nice one that they put on your neck as the victor, as one

who has won the victory. These are the words of the man who conquered Jerusalem. This is what he said. He said

there is no merit in vanquishing a people who had been forsaken by their

God. Huh? The man that conquered Jerusale said he

said God was not here otherwise I would not have won the war. Look at his word said their God was

never there. This is not a war. This is just this is just a simple walk in and

take. said if God and it wasn't simple they fought for years listen said it fought

for yeah I think months or so seven months or so said if God was here I

wouldn't have said there's no merit there's no boasting about this vanquishing the people who have been

forsaken by their God the rejection I spoke about during the siege there was mass starvation why when they tried to

enter the city I said the was made of three walls they attempt to break the city. The first war did not

work and so they lost the battle and decided that they will not stop until

they conquer Jerusalem. So what they did is they look for more armies, empower themselves and build armies all around

the city, all around the whole nation of Jerusalem and then they built a wall so

that nobody can come and supply them goods or services. Nobody can bring them food or water.

Are you with me? So they cut off all the supplies to Jerusalem. So there was starvation Jesus

Christ promised. There was farming for them. There was nothing they could grow. They were they were waring. They were

eating up all their food stores. There was nowhere they could buy these things from because the Romans had conquered or

had built a wall around them and made sure it was impossible for any help to reach them.

So the according to historians he said during the siege there was mass starvation in which cannibalism was

widely widely occurred got to a time they were eating themselves up it is believe some mothers even devoured their

own children later there were even mass crucifixions to the degree that wood eventually became unavailable

when the Romans catch them and they killed them they crucified them and put them on wood to time there was no wood around there they have cut all the woods

just to murder them and show examples so that they would break the spirits and the minds of those who were fighting to

prevent the city from being captured. Let us consider what major early church

historian this is Flavio also quoting an earlier historian than him who was

called wrote about these dreadful events. He wrote around 3:25 BC close to those

events with extensive records. Sorry, sorry. Josephus was the earlier

one. I am saying let us consider major early church historian who drawing from the information of

Flavius Josephus lived around AD 325. So using Flavius

Josephus history uh his documented

records um

provided this information. This is why he say it is fitting to to these accounts the true prediction of our

savior in which he fortold these very events. His words are as follows.

Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give sack in those days. Pray that your flight be not in the winter,
