LB takes a look at:
Jasmin Court Nursing Home,
40 Roe Lane,
Sheffield,
S3 9AJ
I had a viewer contact me about this been a potential asylum accomodation so I did a bit of an investigation and found these documents on line:
Planning application - https://planningapps.sheffield.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=QRX5WDNYJMG00
Document from the SYMAAG - https://www.symaag.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/symaag-annual-report-2324.pdf
Document from Health Watch Sheffield -
https://nds.healthwatch.co.uk/sites/default/files/reports_library/Refugee%20and%20asylum%20seeker%20briefing%20final.pdf
We did find out it was a mixed residency from one of the security guards.
Several females came and left the property unknown if they were staff, vistors or residents (I turned the camera away during these times).

What's actually going on? No, no, it's no private property. No, you got
0:05
no comment. [Music]

Hey up and welcome to the channel. Today in the burn grave area of Sheffield
0:22
having a look at this place called Jasmine Court. It is documented online as a nursing
0:28
home. But there is documents and plan applications to change it from a nursing
0:34
home into residential flats.
0:40
And there is also mention of it housing the migrants as well
0:46
and a couple of documents. So I'll share the PDF on the PDFs on the screen now. I'm just going to go in and
0:53
have a chat with the people here. see if they can clear up the matter. So, it is strange
0:59
that they have still got the nursing home.
1:05
The nursing home signs up.
1:11
It's not run by me because I've checked. So, I will pop in and have a word.
1:19
See if anybody could speak to me.
1:25
How you mate? Good. I called the other day about the nursing home and no one answered, so I
1:31
just popped down to have a word. No, no, it's No, it's private property now. Okay.
1:36
Yeah. No worries. What is it now then if it's not a nursing home? No. No. It's not anything? Nothing. It's a private property.
1:43
Okay. So, it's weird that we've got security on private property. Yeah. Yeah. We have safety of the
1:49
persons. Safety of the person. I rang about the nursing home and no one answered. So I
1:54
thought I'd just pop down and and see if it's still open. It's still here. So it's still open as a nursing home.
2:01
Okay. Okay. You sure? Yeah. So there's other like I've had friends tell me about planning applications for
2:07
it to be here. What's your just documenting areas seeing what's going on?
2:13
I just you're looking at this. You can go. Pardon? You can go now. Yes. So I just look on the car park.
2:18
That's all right. They all be You're not allowed here. Oh, the gates are open. It was like an
2:24
implied right of access to come in to actually come and have a chat with you. It's okay. You char.
2:31
Yeah. So, it's like there's people in. It's like residential. It's not residential.
2:37
Is it one of the asylum hotels now? No, no, no. It's not. You can. Yeah. I'm leaving. Don't worry. I'm I'm
2:43
going to go. But I'm just going to have a nice look around on the way out.
2:49
Okay. Always enjoy yourself.
2:58
You can't stay here. So your camera.
3:04
Yeah. So if we didn't have that on, I'll be all right. It's not allowed here.
3:10
Oh, do you mind if I ask what company you work for so I can uh request a copy from GDPI if I can? No. No.
3:16
He's he's recording. That's all I want to know. It's not your
3:23
Well, no. Like, can I get a copy of that image? Well, yeah, cuz that's breaking GDPR with the ICO.
3:28
No, no, no. Yes. Can you tell me what organization you work for? Okay.
3:35
Oh, can I How do I request a copy of that image?
3:42
Yeah.
3:49
You can't. You can't. Oh, it's okay, fam.
3:54
You can call the police. You can't.
4:02
You may go now. I'm going. Can we call the police now? Okay. Call them. Not doing anything wrong. Just doing some documentation.
4:13
You can't say you you aren't filming here. It's
4:19
private property here. Yeah, I'll film from the top end then. Is that all right? Yeah, okay. But what's all the secrecy? Just
4:26
come out and be open because it's private property. You are not allowed here. Oh, sorry. It's a it's not private
4:32
property for the migrant hotels. Please can you leave? Why not be open and honest about it instead of being with all the top
4:38
private property with all the secrecy? You got to see people.
4:48
You mean leaving now? I'm I'm leaving. I'm moving. Making my way down, aren't I?
4:54
So many other people come film this. It's why you're all really KG. Because we we are not filming allowed
4:59
here. It's private property. That's why. Okay. It's okay for your mom to film. Yeah. So, it's not okay for him to film.
5:05
So, why was he? You're not allowed. You may go now.
5:12
I'm leaving. I'm so like Good morning. Morning property. Yeah, I am. I just came in just to have a chat and then I'm I'm going to be off.
5:18
Could you leave now, please? Yeah, I'm going. Lovely. Thank you. Enjoy your day. We will. I So, all I did was ask about the home.
5:25
Can you leave? I am. Am I not moving that way? I'd like you off the This is private property. Could you I'm heading I'm leaving. Right. Could you move now then?
5:31
I'm leaving. Am I not moving? Carry on moving then. I am. Yeah.
5:37
Carry on moving. I am. This is private property and trespassing. Okay.
5:49
Are you for state manager then? No comment.
5:55
So I just wonder what was all the secrecy about. No comment.
6:12
Are you good? Right. Okay. Have a good day. You too.
6:41
Can you sign up for the police? It's nice to see you've got all your SIA badges on display there.
6:58
Hello.
7:09
[Music]
7:20
Got them all turned on now. So you can't identify him.
7:37
So they are calling the police. So I will wait for them.
7:54
So if the police are coming, I'll work for them so they're not wasting the time on a civil matter.
8:06
I did see a lady inside. So is it not is it not just one of the male accommodations and is it families or just females?
8:23
Did it get specially shut as the care home then just to uh accommodate this government contract?
8:29
[Music]
8:35
Is there any way of getting a requesting image that the your gentleman colleague took a picture of or the video?
8:45
cuz that is in breach of GDPR because you do work for an organization.
9:01
How much is this costing the British taxpayer a month?
9:07
You may leave now. I've left.
9:12
I've left. If you calling the police, I'll wait for them.
9:20
So, I don't want them to waste any more time looking for me. When you've called them for a civil matter,
9:28
there's nothing criminal has happened. You should know this is a security
9:33
guard. [Music]
9:50
Generally the response time for this sort of thing is pretty good. Normally about 10 minutes.
9:57
What are your opinions on the what happened yesterday at Canary Warf with one of the migrants breaking into a blind woman's house?
10:05
You think that's acceptable? You think the person should have just be deported straight away?
10:24
John, this is not an important issue to document with local communities.
10:40
Checking response time again. It were called 4 and 1/2 minutes ago.
10:57
But yeah, as I said when I came in
11:03
have got all the nursing home signs still up.
11:08
So, anybody walking past be unassuming, not thinking it's been taken over by a government contract.
11:16
You're still in the property. I'm on the public pavement. This is a public public easement.
11:25
I'm not past your gates, am I?
11:33
So I say now you've closed it off. You asked me to leave. I've left. I'm in the publicly accessible area on a public
11:40
footpath. What company is it that does manage this
11:47
place then? It's not me, is it? Or me has taken it over.
12:01
Let me just have a look.
12:17
Her managers just been caught.
12:28
So, I've just asked chat GPT whether Mia's group run this place. I wasn't sure if it was or not. I'm pretty sure
12:34
it wasn't. And
12:40
Jasmine C isn't mentioned in the site they manage
12:47
is run by Amikova Limited.
12:58
So, Amikova, I'll put that on the screen now.
13:04
You can check them out. See if they've got any other premises in the area.
13:20
Better
13:31
do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. [Music]
13:51
How long have they been now? 10 minutes.
13:59
Give them until 10 too and then I will then I will leave. But I just don't want them wasting any more time and effort
14:06
on nonsense. There's a man with a camera. Call the
14:12
police.
14:38
[Music]
14:44
[Music]
15:27
How long has this been a HMO for then?
15:47
the same with the other lady that left. I will turn away.
15:53
I'll turn away when they come out.
16:22
It's strange if it shut down as a care home though to have the signs still up.
16:28
Is that so? No one knows what's really going on.
16:44
How do all the staff feel about selling out the country, taking accommodation away from our vulnerable elderly?
17:36
Now the other ones come back out.
17:43
Jump up.
17:50
[Music]
18:01
Still got a license turned around. There was just some sirens then.
18:08
Thought they might be coming here. Blues and twos.
18:13
But as I did with both the females leaving, turn the camera away.
18:51
To be fair, it doesn't seem like a priority response today. As I said, I would wait for them. So, I'll give them
18:57
a couple more minutes, then we will head off.
19:39
How many
19:44
We've
19:49
been here again.
20:06
What we got?
20:26
But yep, it was this gentleman in the black who won't disclose details.
20:33
had a good look at his SIA badge either to request a copy of the image.
20:40
Got cars in the car park. I think there's another couple around that corner. I'm taking photos. Yeah.
20:45
Oh, he's taking over with me. You go take one. Take one. Do you want me to take you with one of you?
20:52
[Music] Enjoy your day.
20:58
Nah. Take a picture of the worst things.
21:06
In the corner, there's loads of salt and grit for the car park in the ice.
21:24
But yes, I've avoided taking pictures of the residents as best I could due to them being
21:31
females. You're done. Pardon? He's done now. Are the police not coming?
21:39
No. Are they not turning up? I just didn't want to waste the time. That was all.
21:44
Oh, you're a good guy. Yeah, they're not coming. Who? The police.
21:58
It's under construction. Yeah, it looks like it's going to be really good when it's finished. If
22:03
they're not coming, like I said, I'll leave. I just don't want to waste the time looking for me.
22:09
So, it's up to you, you know, that you should go now.
22:15
He should Is there any way I can request a copy of that image though?
22:20
Is there any chance I can um have any details to request a copy of that image or video you took?
22:28
I have no clue. I am not very much experienced.
22:36
So if you you have caught police, I'll give him another like 5 minutes and then I'm going to head off. I just want a waste of time for a non-issue. Really?
22:44
No, no, no. If you going you up to you. You go. You go.
22:50
I'll give you another five minutes another if I have to do another cross.
22:58
I'll go in my own time. I'll give you another five minutes and uh if they're not here, then I will leave
23:03
cuz you know I will do this you know here. Pardon? Disturb. Yes. I'm not I'm not like going inside
23:10
or I'm not I'm not filming through the windows or anything. Thank you. It's not a problem. That's just like common decency that.
23:21
So I'm assuming this is like females and families here. It's mix.
23:27
Mix. Yes. If like even at the all male ones, I don't ever film in the windows.
23:35
There's no no one wants that.
23:45
Thought another someone else was getting dropped off, so I just turned away.
23:51
I'll turn around.
23:57
Yeah. Have a nice day. You, too.
24:08
She'll stay this way till till she goes out of sight.
24:26
Well, I don't think you're a priority today. Don't think you're a priority today. It was too hot yesterday.
24:34
Yesterday too hot and evening. Oh,
24:40
humidity. Too hot. At least come in. At least it's a nice uh breeze today.
25:04
Right. Well, I don't think they're coming. So, you're going now. Yeah. I'll give him enough time to get
25:09
here cuz I didn't want to waste uh the time. So, get up. B.
25:14
Get up is good. Get up. Your get up. It's not bad, is it? Talking about your get up.
25:20
Yeah, it's not bad. It's not bad.
25:25
Especially in this weather. Shorts and vest down center.
25:30
Yeah. We have some bus office there. You have a car? Got a taxi? Taxi.
25:42
Right. Well, enjoy your day. Bye-bye.
25:48
Take care of yourself. You too. Fair. Was quite pleasant in the end.
25:54
Maybe I was a little bit too nice. I did go on at the other guy a little bit because he didn't say a word
26:02
and we're just completely dumb. That is a mixed residence.
26:14
I will just hang about the area for a few minutes on the front street so I can
26:20
see if the police do come.
26:38
So, what we'll do is I'll cut the video very shortly
26:44
and pick it back up if anything else happens.
26:52
But that was Jasmine Court in the burn grave area of Sheffield
27:01
with all the care with all the care home signs still up.
27:08
So if you didn't know, you would be just assuming it is
27:15
a care home when it's actually not. that is now
27:24
asylum accommodation. As you saw all the documents I put up at
27:30
the beginning of the video, that's what I got sent to me
27:37
to come have a look at this place. So again, thanks for watching and if we
27:44
don't pick up back up and if we don't pick the video back up, we'll see you in the next one.
27:50
And the police have come just as I was leaving.
28:10
I'll come back and have a chat so you're not looking for me if you needed me. Well, obviously we've had a report that
28:15
you're here. Yeah. So, I'm just wanting to ask what you hanging around for. Basically, they said they'd called you, so I didn't
28:21
want to just disappear and you' be wasting time looking for me over a civil matter. Right. Okay, that's it.
28:26
So, so what's actually going on? Nothing. I just came in maybe inquire about the care home,
28:31
found out it wasn't a care home and thought I'd just investigate a bit deeper. Okay. Found out it was one of the asylum
28:37
hotels, right? And that's been it. All right, then. That's fair enough. Right. As long as we got that cleared up.
28:43
Well, that was it. They asked me to leave. I left. They said they called the police. I thought I'll just hang about
28:48
till you turn up so you're not wasting your time looking for me over a civil claim, a civil matter. That was it.
28:54
Lovely. So, I'll just come back and have a chat with you just so you know I'm not hiding from you or running away. Yeah, that's fine. All right. Right. No
29:01
worries. All right. Thank you. Thanks for coming back. You're lucky. No worries. You too.
29:14
sorted and now we'll leave as I said I would
29:24
if I was anywhere. proves a point for security
29:30
that I'm not going to run away because there was a mention of police.
29:37
So that is it and we will end that video there. Now
29:47
I couldn't maybe be bothered speaking to him. His camera wasn't on.
29:53
There's no red lights flashing unless
30:00
there's a new kind and they don't show the red lights flashing. He didn't reach up to put it on either
30:05
when I was walking over. He was polite with me. I was so I was polite back.
30:16
I explained the situation. So there was no lies being told. So now that's done
30:22
with, I'll see you in the next one.
