Incredible Journey Elon Musk was born on June 28th
1:05
1971 in Petoria South Africa he was the eldest of three
1:11
children in his family his mother may was a model and a
1:18
dietician his father Errol was an electromechanical
1:23
engineer elon's parents divorced when he was only 8 years old after the the divorce Elon decided
1:31
to live with his father thinking it was the best choice but later he would regret this
1:39
decision his relationship with his father was very difficult and caused him a lot of
1:45
pain growing up Elon was a quiet and thoughtful boy he loved to read books and imagine
1:54
new ideas he enjoyed stories about inventors
1:59
explorers and science fiction these books opened his mind to
2:04
the possibilities of what he could do in the future but his love for Learning and
2:10
Technology made him different from other children at school Elon was often teased
2:17
and bullied other kids thought he was strange because he was introverted and
2:22
focused on his interests The Bullying was not just
2:28
hurtful it was some times very cruel one terrible day a group of boys
2:35
pushed Elon down a flight of stairs and beat him so badly that he had to go to
2:40
the hospital it was one of the hardest moments of his young
2:46
life to make things worse after the attack his father reportedly criticized
2:52
him and called him worthless Elon felt deeply hurt and
2:57
misunderstood both at school and at home to escape from these painful
3:04
experiences Elon turned to books and Technology he spent hours reading about
3:10
Science and Space dreaming of a better future at the age of 10 he discovered
3:17
something that would change his life computers Elon was fascinated by how
3:24
they worked he taught himself programming by reading the manual for his
3:30
vic2 computer it was not easy but Elon loved
3:35
the challenge he practiced for hours solving problems and creating new
3:43
ideas by the time Elon was 12 years old he achieved something
3:49
amazing he created a video game called Blaster the game was simple but it
3:56
showed how creative Elon was in the game players controlled a
4:02
spaceship and had to destroy enemy ships Elon sold the game to a magazine
4:09
for $500 this was a huge moment for him it
4:15
showed that his love for technology could lead to success for the first time Elon realized
4:23
that his ideas could make a difference even though his childhood was
4:28
filled with challenges Elon never stopped dreaming instead of giving up he focused
4:35
on what he loved learning creating and imagining a better
4:40
future these tough times shaped Elon into the determined and creative person
4:46
he would become his story shows us that even when life feels hard we can find strength in
4:53
our passions and keep moving forward at 17 Elon Musk made a brave
5:00
decision to leave his home in South Africa he wanted to start a new life and
5:06
follow his Big Dreams Elon hoped to go to the United States where he believed he could make a
5:13
difference in the world but first he went to Canada his mother was born there so he
5:21
was able to get Canadian citizenship with little money and no
5:26
clear plan Elon set out on his journey he knew it would not be easy but he was
5:33
ready to work hard elon's early days in Canada were
5:38
very hard one of his first jobs was on his cousin's Farm in
5:45
Saskatchewan this was a tiny village with fewer than 300 people Elon worked as a vegetable
5:53
Gardener and shoveled grain from bins the work was tiring and dirty but
5:59
he kept going he knew this was just the start of his
6:04
journey after working on the farm Elon moved to Vancouver British
6:10
Colombia there he learned how to cut Logs with a chainsaw the job was hard and dangerous
6:18
but he did not give up he needed to keep earning money to
6:24
survive elon's hardest job in Canada was working in a lumber Mills Boiler
6:30
Room when he went to the unemployment office he asked which job paid the
6:36
most they told him about the Boiler Room job which paid $18 an
6:43
hour that was good money in 1989 so Elon accepted the job even
6:49
though it was very dangerous the job was tough Elon had to crawl through small
6:57
hot tunnels while wearing a special suit to protect himself he shoveled sand and sticky
7:04
residue into a tiny hole the heat inside the tunnels was
7:10
almost unbearable workers had to crawl out quickly so they didn't get too hot or
7:17
sick most workers quit after a day or two out of 30 people who started with
7:24
Elon only five stayed by the Third Day by by the end of the week just Elon
7:31
and two others were left Elon said there was no Escape once
7:37
you were inside the tunnels he stayed strong and finished the work even though it was the hardest
7:44
job he had ever done even though these jobs were very
7:49
difficult Elon did not give up he saw them as steps toward a better
7:55
future his hard work paid off when he got into Queen's University in
8:01
Canada there he could focus on his education and his
8:06
dreams he enjoyed learning new things and worked hard in his
8:11
classes after 2 years Elon earned the chance to transfer to the University of
8:17
Pennsylvania in the United States this was a big step for
8:23
him he felt excited because the university offered more opportunities
8:28
for him to grow and learn at the University of Pennsylvania
8:33
Elon studied two subjects physics and economics physics helped him understand
8:41
how the world Works while economics taught him about money and business Elon believed that Science and
8:49
Technology could solve the world's biggest problems and he wanted to be part of that
8:55
change he worked very hard in his studies off often spending late nights
9:00
reading solving problems and thinking about the future elon's journey to Canada and the
9:08
United States was not easy he faced many challenges along the
9:14
way but he stayed strong and never lost sight of his dreams his courage and determination
9:21
during these years show us that big dreams are possible if we work hard and
9:26
never give up after finishing University Elon Musk
9:32
decided to move to California he had big dreams of being part of the growing internet
9:39
industry at that time the internet was new and many people were still learning
9:45
about its possibilities Elon believed it could change the world and he wanted to be a
9:51
part of that change in 1995 Elon and his brother Kimble musk
9:58
started their first company ZIP 2 they had an idea to help newspapers
10:04
create online directories and Maps this was a big deal because most
10:10
businesses were just starting to go online the internet was not as advanced
10:16
as it is today and people were still figuring out how to use it Elon and
10:22
Kimble worked hard to make their idea a success the early days of zip 2 were
10:29
very tough Elon and his team often worked day and
10:35
night sometimes they even slept in the office because there was so much work to
10:41
do Elon believed in his idea so much that he gave everything he had to make
10:47
it work he taught himself about the technology they needed and worked on the
10:53
code himself his determination and passion were inspiring to everyone around
10:59
him after a few years of hard work zip 2 started to
11:05
grow more and more businesses and newspapers began using their
11:11
services in 1999 a big company saw the potential of
11:16
zip 2 and bought it for $300 million this was a huge success for Elon
11:23
and his team Elon earned $22 million from the sale
11:30
it was more money than he had ever dreamed of having but Elon did not stop
11:36
there he had even bigger plans for the future Elon used his money from zip 2 to
11:43
start a new company called x.com x.com was an online payment
11:51
company the idea was simple but powerful to make it easy for people to send and
11:57
receive money over the internet at that time sending money online was
12:03
not common and many people were unsure about it Elon wanted to change
12:10
that he believed that online payments would become a big part of everyday
12:16
life just like with zip 2 the early days of x.com were not
12:22
easy Elon and his team worked tirelessly to build a system that was simple safe
12:29
and easy to use their hard work paid off x.com quickly became popular and
12:38
later it changed its name to PayPal PayPal made it possible for
12:43
people and businesses around the world to send money with just a few clicks it became one of the most trusted
12:51
and widely used Payment Systems in the world in 2002 eBay a large Online
12:59
Marketplace bought PayPal for $1.5 billion elon's share of the sale made
13:07
him very rich but for Elon money was not the
13:12
goal he saw it as a way to make his even bigger dreams come
13:18
true zip 2 and PayPal were just the beginning of Elon musk's Incredible
13:24
Journey they showed the world his ability to see the future and work hard to make it
13:30
happen Elon Musk has always loved space as a child he read many books
13:38
about planets and the Stars he dreamed of traveling to other
13:43
planets especially Mars but as he grew up Elon saw problems
13:49
with the space industry Rockets were very expensive and
13:54
no one seemed to have a plan to send people to Mars Elon wanted to change
14:01
this in 2002 Elon started a company called SpaceX short for space
14:08
exploration Technologies his big goal was to make space travel cheaper and
14:16
better Elon believed that if Rockets could be used more than once space
14:21
travel would cost less many people thought his idea was
14:27
impossible they believe believed only governments could build Rockets but Elon was not afraid to take
14:36
risks he believed in his dream the first years of SpaceX were
14:42
very hard Elon used a lot of his own money to build
14:47
Rockets he and his team worked very hard often for long
14:53
hours they designed a rocket called Falcon 1 but building Rockets is very difficult
15:01
and SpaceX faced many failures from 2006 to 2008 SpaceX tried
15:09
to launch the Falcon one rocket three times all three launches
15:15
failed each failure cost millions of dollars by the end of 2008 SpaceX had
15:23
little money left many people thought the company would have to close
15:30
but Elon did not give up he believed they could
15:35
succeed in September 2008 SpaceX tried
15:40
again this time Falcon 1 launched successfully into
15:46
space it was a very important moment for Elon and his team they had worked hard and finally
15:54
succeeded the success of Falcon 1 also caught the attention of NASA the United
16:01
States space agency NASA gave SpaceX a big contract
16:06
to send supplies to the International Space Station this saved SpaceX and helped it
16:14
grow today SpaceX is a leader in space travel it is famous for its reusable
16:21
Rockets like the Falcon 9 and Starship these Rockets have made space
16:28
travel much cheaper SpaceX has also sent astronauts
16:33
to the International Space Station and launched many satellites into space elon's dream is to send people to
16:42
Mars he wants to make life on other planets possible for Elon exploring space is not
16:50
just about technology he believes it is about giving Humanity hope for the
16:57
future space sex shows us that even the biggest dreams can come true if you work
17:03
hard and never give up while Elon Musk was working hard on
17:08
SpaceX he was also thinking about energy on Earth he wanted to find better ways to
17:15
use energy that would not harm the planet in 2004 Elon joined a small
17:22
company called Tesla Motors Tesla's goal was to make electric
17:28
cars at that time most people did not believe electric cars could be
17:35
good many thought they were slow boring and very
17:40
expensive but Elon thought differently he believed electric cars
17:46
could be fast beautiful and good for the environment Tesla's first car the
17:53
Roadster surprised everyone the Roadster was not just an
17:58
ELC electric car it was a sports car that was fast
18:03
stylish and fun to drive this car showed the world that
18:09
electric cars could be exciting it also showed that clean
18:14
energy could be cool and Powerful after the Roadster Tesla made
18:20
more cars the model S released in 2012 became very popular
18:29
it was a luxury car but it was also very practical the model S had a long battery
18:37
range this meant it could travel far without needing to be charged it was also very safe and very
18:46
fast many people called it the best car in the world Tesla continued to
18:53
grow they made the model 3 which was more affordable so more people could buy
18:59
it later they released the model y this was a familyfriendly car that was
19:07
good for everyday use these cars helped Tesla become one
19:12
of the most valuable car companies in the world today Tesla's cars are known for
19:19
great design high performance and clean energy but Tesla is not just a car
19:27
company it also o works on other Clean Energy Products Tesla makes large batteries
19:34
that can store energy for homes and businesses these batteries can store
19:40
solar energy during the day people can then use the energy at
19:46
night Tesla also makes solar panels that turn sunlight into
19:52
electricity elon's goal is to create a world where people use clean energy
19:58
instead of fossil fuels like coal and oil Tesla has faced many
20:05
challenges making electric cars and Clean Energy Products is not
20:10
easy there were times when the company had money problems some people even thought Tesla
20:18
might fail but Elon and his team kept working
20:23
hard they believed in their mission to make the world a better place
20:29
Tesla's success has changed how people think about energy in cars other companies are now making
20:37
electric cars they are also investing in clean energy because of Tesla's
20:44
example elon's Vision has inspired people to believe that the future can be
20:49
green and sustainable through Tesla Elon Musk has
20:54
shown the world that technology can solve big problems he has created fast and beautiful
21:01
electric cars he has also built Clean Energy Products that fight climate
21:09
change elon's dream is to build a future where people live in harmony with
21:15
nature Tesla is leading the way to that dream with hard work and Innovation we
21:22
can create a better world in addition to working on rockets and cars Elon musk had another big
21:30
dream he wanted to help connect people all over the world the internet is a big part of
21:38
Modern Life it helps people learn work and talk to each
21:44
other but many people especially those living in remote areas do not have
21:50
access to the internet Elon believed this was unfair he thought everyone should have
21:57
the chance to connect to the digital world no matter where they live to solve this problem Elon and his
22:05
company SpaceX started a project called starlink the idea behind starlink was
22:12
simple but powerful SpaceX would launch thousands of small satellites into
22:19
space these satellites would send internet signals back to
22:25
Earth by doing this starlink could provide provide internet access to every
22:30
corner of the planet even the most remote places building starlink was not
22:37
easy it required a lot of planning and Technology the satellites had to be
22:44
small but powerful they also had to work together in space to create a strong
22:51
Network SpaceX started launching starlink satellites in 2019
22:58
each rocket carried many satellites and over time the network grew larger and
23:05
stronger today starlink is helping millions of people around the world
23:10
connect to the internet it has made a big difference in places where internet service was too
23:17
expensive or not available at all starlink is especially helpful for
23:23
schools hospitals and businesses in rural areas
23:29
it gives people new opportunities to learn work and communicate with
23:34
others starlink has also been important during emergencies in places hit by natural
23:42
disasters like hurricanes or earthquakes traditional internet services can stop
23:49
working starlink can provide a quick and reliable connection helping people stay
23:55
in touch and get the help they need elon's vision for starlink is not just
24:01
about technology it is about making the world more
24:07
equal he believes that everyone should have access to the same opportunities no
24:12
matter where they live starlink is helping to make that dream come
24:18
true by connecting people to the internet starlink is opening new doors
24:24
for Education communication and innovation it shows how technology can bring people
24:31
closer together Elon musk's dream of a connected world is becoming a reality
24:38
proving that even the biggest challenges can be solved with determination and
24:44
creativity in 2022 Elon Musk made a surprising
24:49
move he bought Twitter one of the most popular social media Platforms in the
24:56
world millions of people use Twitter every day to share news ideas and
25:03
stories Elon saw Twitter as more than just a platform for
25:09
messages he believed it could be a place for free speech and open
25:15
conversations free speech is very important to Elon he believes everyone should have
25:22
the right to share their opinions even if others do not agree to him Free Speech helps people
25:30
solve problems and make the world better Elon wanted Twitter to be a space
25:36
where everyone could speak openly without fear of being silenced or
25:41
judged buying Twitter was not an easy decision Elon spent $44 billion to own
25:49
the company many people were surprised that he spent so much
25:54
money but for Elon it was not just about money he believed Twitter could become
26:02
an important tool for people all over the world to share ideas and connect with
26:08
others after Elon took over Twitter he made many
26:13
changes he worked to reduce fake accounts and improve safety on the
26:18
platform he also tried to make Twitter more open so people could understand how
26:24
it works these changes were not easy
26:29
some people felt Elon was changing too much While others thought he was not
26:34
doing enough running Twitter became a big challenge for
26:40
Elon even with the challenges Elon has stayed focused on his
26:45
goal he wants Twitter to be a place where anyone from anywhere in the world
26:51
can share their voice he also introduced new ideas like
26:57
letting users choose what kind of content they want to see at the same time he worked to stop
27:04
the spread of harmful or false information for Elon Twitter is not just
27:10
about technology it is about people he believes that when people can
27:17
share ideas freely they can solve problems and understand each other
27:23
better even though some of his decisions have been controversial Elon has stayed
27:28
committed to his vision of free speech and open communication by buying Twitter Elon
27:35
Musk has taken on a difficult challenge but his goal is clear to
27:41
create a platform where everyone can be heard his work with Twitter is part of
27:47
his dream to make the world a better and more connected Place Elon Musk has achieved many
27:54
amazing things but his journey has not been easy he has faced many failures and
28:03
challenges people have criticized him and some have doubted his
28:08
ideas yet Elon has never given up he has kept working toward his dreams
28:15
no matter how hard things became elon's work has changed the world
28:21
in many ways he has built rockets that make space travel less expensive
28:28
he has created electric cars that are fast stylish and good for the
28:34
environment he has work to connect people around the world through the internet each of these projects started
28:42
as a big idea Elon turned those ideas into reality with hard work and
28:49
determination elon's story teaches us important lessons it shows us that Big Dreams can
28:57
come true if we work hard and never give up sometimes we may
29:04
fail but Elon reminds us that failure is not the end it is just one step on the path to

29:21
big he does not just try to solve small problems instead he looks at the biggest
29:28
challenges in the world and tries to find Solutions his work shows that even the
