After such a long time of wanting to visit, I finally made it here to beautiful Indonesia

I just landed in Jakarta and I will be spending the next month exploring the beautiful islands and the beautiful mainland of Jawa

I arrived late last night after 24 hours of traveling. The first thing I did this morning was get a SIM card which is just around the corner from Telkom Cell

It wasn't very expensive. It's around 150,000 rupees which is about $10 for 20 gigabytes of data which is amazing

I just ordered a Gojak which is the local transport system here

It's basically like Uber but they don't have Uber here. So I just ordered a go-jack bike to head to the first spot on my journey here in Jakarta

actually just told me it was closed inside so i can't head inside just today but hopefully inshallah

but it's an honor to be here walking around so inside the mosque complex there are huge amounts of street food so i just picked up some

chicken and beef dumplings they look amazing the people there are so nice i just had about a 10

minute conversation with the friendly locals very much a language barrier but it's amazing

Here in the city, you can find a huge mix of cultures including Javanese, Malay, Indian, Arab and European
