Here's what some of the show's other fan-favorite cast members went on to do after the series came to an end… Ashton Kutcher joined ‘Two and a Half Men’ in season 9 as Walden Schmidt, the eccentric billionaire who bought Charlie Harper’s beach house and somehow ended up sharing it with Alan and Jake. After the sitcom ended, he starred in ‘The Ranch,’ returned as Michael Kelso in ‘That ’90s Show,’ and later joined the cast of Ryan Murphy’s horror series ‘The Beauty’ in 2026. Marin Hinkle played Judith Harper, Alan’s ex-wife and Jake’s mother, who set the show’s events in motion when she ended their marriage in the very first episode. Following ‘Two and a Half Men,’ she found even greater acclaim as Rose Weissman on ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,’ earning Emmy nominations in both 2019 and 2020. Conchata Ferrell played Berta, Charlie’s no-nonsense housekeeper. After the show wrapped, she appeared in ‘Grace and Frankie’ and reunited with Ashton Kutcher on ‘The Ranch.’ Ferrell sadly passed away in 2020 at the age of 77.
