‘The Cosby Show’: Where Is The Original Cast Now?
Jan 29, 2026
The Cosby Show has a controversial legacy for obvious reasons, but there is no doubt that it was one of the most influential sitcoms of all time. It’s been decades since the show redefined television, and the Huxtable family cast members have each taken their own unique paths in life.
Phylicia Rashad, who played Clair Huxtable, has remained a force in theater and film. She made history in 2004 as the first Black woman to win the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play.
Lisa Bonet, best known as Denise Huxtable, built a solid acting career after the show, appearing in films like Enemy of the State and High Fidelity.
Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who portrayed Theo Huxtable, continued acting in series like Malcolm & Eddie, Reed Between the Lines, and The Resident. Sadly, Warner passed away in July 2025 after drowning during a family trip.
Raven-Symoné, who joined the series as Olivia Kendall, became a major Disney Channel star with That’s So Raven and its spinoff Raven’s Home.
