This video will show you how to split or extract pages from a PDF document

So let's start. This is a PDF document that I downloaded from Teachers Pay Teachers

There's a lot of great information on here, but you'll notice that it's about 30-some pages

And for the purpose that I'm using this for, I don't want to share this file with all 35 pages

What I want to do is maybe just take 2 or 3 pages out of this entire document and just share those 2 or 3 pages

So you can do that with a website that's called PDF Candy. This essentially will let me split this PDF or extract certain pages into a new file

So let's go to PDF Candy. It's just this website right here

You can see from this menu there's a lot of great options in terms of what you can do with PDF files

I'm going to choose this option right over here that says Split PDF

From there, I just have to select my file. And you'll notice that PDF Candy gave me a breakdown of all of the pages in this PDF file

So at the bottom, you'll notice it's giving me a few different options

I can either split these into individual single pages. So rather than having one file of 35 pages, I can just split this into 35 individual pages

Or I can choose this option, Split by Page Range. This will allow me to just choose several different pages that I can then split into my own packet

But the one that I'm going to choose is this option that says Merge Selected Pages

So what I'm going to do is just click on a few just random pages that I might need

You can see from this, I have four out of those 35 pages as I select them

It's telling me the numbers of the pages at the bottom. And now I'm ready to choose Split PDF

And momentarily, what will happen is PDF Candy will go through and split those four individual pages into a separate PDF file

Once it's finished, you can click Download File. That file will then download

You can see it right over here. And you'll notice that it basically extracted those four individual pages that I selected

So this is the original file with 35 pages. And this is the PDF file that I just created in seconds with PDF Candy that only has those four selected pages

So again, the process is going to be really simple. I would definitely check out PDF Candy, especially if you do a lot with PDF documents
