okay I think we are live yes yes hi everyone it's Global Scholarship Tips
0:08
and I'm your host as I hope rolling well i hope all having a great week and as always we are here with another weekly
0:15
live stream another Friday another live stream and I'm as always here joined by Aean hi Aean how are you how is it going
0:23
um hi S i'm doing well thank you how are you i'm doing well too thank you very
0:29
much so everyone if you're new here we are again global scholarships so we have
0:34
a platform we have a YouTube channel as you can see and basically we share a lot
0:39
of information about scholarships about studying abroad in general as you can see this is our website you can just
0:46
type uh you can just go to global scholarships.com or you can just Google anything that you might be interested in
0:52
any university or any any country actually um with globalcolarships.com
0:58
and Google will direct you towards us uh as you can see we have for example
1:04
guides if you're interested in a country and you like type in let's say Italy or Canada with globalcolarships.com
1:11
uh you'll probably see one of our country guides for example we have these these are great like collections of
1:18
guides that we have um for for example for these countries click on any one of
1:24
these that you are interested in for example maybe you want to study in South Korea you can click on this and it'll
1:30
show you our collection of guides that we've made uh like throughout years
1:35
about that country we have about guides about higher education about choosing a university about best programs to study
1:42
in that country about applying to a university like what specific things that like that exist in that country if
1:49
you want to apply to a university um about documents and tests of course
1:54
different countries do have different procedures uh things that you have to get like documents or test you have to
2:01
go through uh to be able to apply to universities uh in those countries um by
2:06
the way we do a lot like we make a lot of tutorials as well uh also like in that in those tutorials you will see too
2:13
that for example if you want to apply to a university in Italy you have to go through a specific test uh to take that
2:20
test and then you can apply blah blah blah those type of stuff right we have
2:26
language proficiency tests this is one of the most hi there asakias uh it's
2:32
great to have you here um so of course this is something that a lot of you are interested in like what kind of language
2:39
profic efficiency I have to have to be able to apply to this to a university in that country for example if you want to
2:46
study in South Korea um there's a test called topic for example um it is test
2:52
of proficiency in Korean if you take that test and have like a high level of proficiency a lot of there are a lot of
2:59
universities that will give you um certain discounts or like there are scholarships that will give you
3:05
something a little bit more a little extra uh things like that or of course there are the main one big ones like
3:11
TOEFL or ILTS if you want to study in English and you can study in English in a lot of countries of course like not
3:19
only um English-sp speakaking countries but also for example there are English programs in United States there are so
3:25
Germany there are English programs in Italy there are English programs in Japan there are English programs in
3:31
China there are English programs all around so of course Tuffle and ILts is very uh very popular with people uh and
3:39
of course the main subject of our platform which is financing your studies
3:44
how to find scholarships how to study in this country for free basically we have
3:49
guides like how to like preparing your application submitting um for applying
3:55
for scholarships and of course choosing inexpensive universities in inexpensive places they do help a lot uh cheapest
4:02
programs cheapest universities um cost of living this is something not a lot of
4:09
people ask about but I think it is insanely important um hi there it's
4:14
great to see you here as always um like if you want to go to another country by
4:20
the way not just not just from us not just from global scholarships I highly advise you uh if you want to study in a
4:27
university abroad just type in the university's name and then living costs
4:32
usually a lot of universities do have uh like a specific estimation that they
4:37
have uh for living cost of course they are rough estimates but they will give give you a good idea uh because they
4:44
have a lot of resources they can directly obser oberve their students and they have a lot of incentive to get it
4:50
right because you don't want a lot of foreign students to come to your country
4:55
to study and then not be able to afford education and then go away you don't want that so yeah and then of course we
5:01
have scholarships open scholarships global scholarships you can click on any one of these we also make a lot of
5:07
videos uh sharing about like open currently open scholarships uh or like
5:13
one specific like we have scholarship of the week and today we're going to talk about one scholarship um that is open
5:18
right now full funding uh we do that every week blah blah blah we have a lot of like we have a huge collection for
5:25
guides in this country or maybe you want to study in uh Germany right uh you can
5:31
go there and see Germany that guide that we have hi there Timu it's great to have
5:37
you here i hope you're all you're doing well anyway this is global scholarships
5:42
we have um also guides about scholarships like government scholarships uh and that type of thing
5:48
current level scholarships in a specific country we have a search tool uh this is
5:54
like by far my favorite thing that we have it's a it's basically a free search
5:59
tool to find scholarships uh we have like about 5,000 scholarships in our database uh I'll just hit enter okay uh
6:07
you can type in anything that you're interested in a country a university or something like that uh but also you can
6:13
hit enter and this is all the scholarships that we have in our database uh you can click on them to see
6:20
um to see about them a lot of information we'll see that in a second but basically
6:26
uh these are scholarships that are offered by uh international offered by universities around the globe that we
6:33
can find um offered to new coming international students so there are other um much
6:40
scholarships offered uh in UK there are a lot of scholarships of course United
6:46
Kingdom is a bit expensive in terms of living and in terms of tution you can by
6:51
the way go to global scholarships let me share the link uh you can just click on that and here we can filter for location
6:58
let's say United Kingdom we are only interested in United Kingdom all right we have about 620 scholarships in United
7:06
Kingdom now there are a lot of these are not a lot of these but well many many of
7:12
these are for um like regional for um pe
7:18
for people who are seeking asylum uh refugees sanctuary scholarships things
7:23
like that but there are other scholarships as well here you can filter for degree let's say
7:28
bachelors and you can filter for uh funding type funding type means there
7:34
are three types of scholarships partial Partial funding full tution partial funding full tution full funding partial
7:41
funding means it covers less than the university's tuition fees uh full tion means it covers the tuition fees and
7:48
full funding means it covers the tuition fees and then gives you something more like uh maybe a living statement maybe
7:55
accommodation or something like that let's choose full funding for example yeah we have about 11 scholarships
8:02
uh in United Kingdom for bachelors again as you'll see uh
8:07
sanctuary sanctuary asylum seeker some of these are a lot of these are actually
8:13
uh or like regional article 26 sanctuary for
8:18
example we have UCL global undergraduate scholarship you can look at this as well
8:24
but of course if you want to study in United Kingdom you can of course always go for masters uh you have more
8:32
scholarship for masters or PhD students of Course you also do have um cheving
8:38
scholarship they're government scholarships that are given to master students you can look at that let me
8:45
share the link this link with you as well this is government scholarships
8:50
best like 15 best government scholarships as you can see in UK we have cheving which is for masters you
8:57
can click here and go and see about that specific scholarship as well it covers a
9:02
lot of things a lot of usually government scholarships are very generous very comprehensive and also we have
9:09
scholarship recipients basically we go and contact people who have earned
9:15
received these scholarships and ask about their experience
9:21
for example um this is a person who have earned a sharing scholarship as you can
9:27
see about their journey about the scholarship details their educational background for example their GPA
9:35
um like honors what educational background they had uh how they prepare to apply um how how they prepare to
9:44
apply for the scholarship um like what do they think made their application stand out what advice they could give
9:51
what would it have done differently i think these are really good especially if you want to apply to scholarships
9:58
that are very like big scholarships that are very popular erggo very uh competitive because like
10:07
for example when it comes to shavening or when it comes to scholarships like mixed um so many people are applying so
10:13
many people are applying uh that you have to make your application somehow
10:19
stand out among all of all those people and I think which is why like this
10:24
information this insight will be very very useful for you um or you can look for PhD
10:32
scholarships as well now I'm not in United Kingdom but if you want to apply
10:37
if you want to study in Europe you can also like other countries in Europe like
10:42
Germany Italy maybe France um you can also look for partial scholarships as
10:49
well partial funding because a lot of universities in those countries do not charge huge tuition fees but uh
10:56
unfortunately in United Kingdom you have to pay a a decent amount of tuition
11:01
about 20 to25,00 000 uh to be able to apply how much acceptance the fully
11:08
funded scholarship um I'm not sure how much
11:13
acceptance by by that what do you mean like what is the acceptance rate of a
11:19
fully funded of a specific fully funded scholarship i'm not sure i don't think those numbers are uh publicly available
11:28
amen do we have any information that we can give about that um yeah no there there's nothing that's
11:37
publicly available yep about uh the number of people who
11:43
have received fully funded scholarships i mean the the number is publicly
11:49
available but I don't think
11:55
um that there is enough data to uh that
12:00
is publicly a available about all applicants and then how many of those have received the scholarships and if
12:07
we're talking about the UK then there aren't many fully funded
12:12
scholarships to begin with yes uh to actually have good statistics about this
12:21
most scholarships are partially funded as you demonstrated i think the exceptions
12:27
exception to that is the ching uh which is offered exclusively to
12:32
master students but for the most part most scholarships are either
12:37
uh partially funded or at most full tuition
12:43
um and that is why I don't think uh that data would help in any way even if it
12:51
was available yeah also there's the fact that um
12:57
like even if you knew that um a scholarship will be given to one person
13:03
and 100 people applied and only one pe one person got that also doesn't really
13:09
give you much information because you do not know the like about those applications right you don't know you
13:15
don't really know much about their GPA you don't even know how much of these uh applications are from actually eligible
13:23
people or how how many of them are just wrong applications also for example a lot of scholarships have different
13:30
different categories you can apply through different for example if you want to apply to some uh government
13:36
scholarships there are different codas for different countries uh and different tracks like if you apply through embassy
13:42
it's something else if you apply through a university it's something else so it's really difficult to get like a good
13:50
number about that like a like a actual kind of helpful number also there's the
13:56
fact that there are a lot of full funding scholarships about like for example 300 school sorry not 300 but 100
14:04
but like there are a lot of scholarships full funding scholarships that are given specifically to uh specific subjects for
14:11
example PhD scholarships in the school of computer science uh this is just for
14:16
computer science and engineering so uh much much less people would be fewer
14:22
people would be applying to the scholarship literally just stumbled across your live stream website thank you uh it's we're very welcome just like
14:30
uh it is a this is a completely free website a lot of information
14:36
let me be be frank when I when I'm sitting down and I'm going to make a
14:42
scholar scholarship video currently open scholarships video uh I just like take about 10 minutes 20 minutes to find what
14:49
scholarships available what like full finding scholarships are available at this moment for people all around the
14:55
world and it takes like again I use global scholarships I use the search tool it takes me about 15 minutes and
15:02
then what you can do is go to the page that we have learn about the like all
15:08
the specifics about the coverage about like eligibility criteria blah blah blah
15:14
blah uh if you have any questions about any scholarships that you can see in our website or any school you can just leave
15:21
your questions in the leave a comment section and Hani who is the founder of global scholarships he answers every
15:28
single question he literally answers every single question so that's like if
15:34
I wasn't working here and I had a question this is where I put would put my question uh then you can click on
15:42
official scholarship page which will take you to the university's page for that scholarship so you can go from like
15:50
point zero where you have no idea like from this point to this point where you
15:56
can actually contact the university or apply for the scholarship yeah I heard
16:01
that getting fully funed scholarship is very tough yeah they're very competitive i'm having GPA uh 7.8 and has three
16:08
years of work work experience in SAP uh on what basis of selection criteria will
16:14
be for fully funded looking for scholarship related ERP course so yeah
16:20
um fully funded scholarships are really competitive because a lot of people um
16:26
here's the thing there are so much scholarship aid like financial aid for
16:32
students that is going nowhere because not people do not really know about them
16:39
um and nobody applies to them but usually those scholarships or those financial aids are the ones that like
16:46
smaller ones that people do not really know but when it comes to fully funded scholarships usually people who want to
16:52
have like want to study abroad know those scholarships by name so and a lot of people apply every year um a lot of
17:01
people apply from all around the world there are codas it is really difficult because there are a lot of people who
17:07
will want to have that um so also based of selection like selection criteria
17:13
changes I think if you can find a scholarship that is for that is uh specifically available for you here's
17:19
the thing what here's the thing you can do so hit enter here right and then in
17:25
our filter let me talk about the subject filter so if you if you choose a subject
17:30
here uh let's say agriculture right our website does not um does not
17:39
only give you the scholarships that are available for agriculture specifically for agriculture what it does is first it
17:46
shows you the scholarships that uh specifically mention agriculture right
17:52
these ones and then when they're when they're done when that's over it goes
17:58
back to all subjects so basically this means all subjects in in her university so if the university offers that program
18:05
uh you can apply with that program through the scholarship so what you can
18:10
do is you can go and put in your subject or the subject you want to study and see
18:16
the scholarships that are specifically for that subject for example let's say
18:23
uh geography how about that yeah for example there like these
18:28
scholarships for example this one is specifically for these subjects by which you can filter out a lot of people
18:35
because you know that to this scholarship only people from these subjects will be able to apply this is
18:42
something you can do you can do to increase your chances of course there are a lot of other things um Aean uh
18:48
what would you want to say about this they have 7.8 GPA uh has three years of
18:54
work experience in SAP on what basis of selection criteria will be for fully funded and they're looking for
19:00
scholarship related ERP
19:09
course amen
19:15
um Aean can you hear us can you hear me hello yep I can hear you now oh all
19:21
right um yeah so it still depends on the
19:29
country uh the GPA scale is not specified so it's
19:36
7.8 on what scale um yeah so the three years of work
19:43
uh or for work experience is good [Music]
19:49
um I assume they're trying to apply for a graduate
19:55
degree i think uh going for the Chevin
20:01
is is good because they already have the three years of work experience and they require
20:07
two um yeah so I think
20:12
uh this is probably one of the better options
20:18
uh you can go for you just need to get acceptance or
20:24
unconditional acceptance by uh two universities in the UK so you
20:30
just apply and then if they accept you you can uh apply to the chaining uh
20:36
specify why universities gave you the acceptance and uh with the years of
20:43
experience uh I think uh you meet most of the
20:49
eligibility criteria okay thank you so um right that's how
20:56
our search tool works like it is a very easy fast and easy and free way to uh
21:02
find scholarships around the world that is suitable for you specifically and then we have other
21:09
stuff here as well let me just give you a quick rundown uh we have for example
21:14
again scholarship stories we have these for different scholarships uh we can
21:19
filter here uh hang on yeah okay for example if you want to study in Germany
21:24
for example uh you can uh filter for Germany and these are the people uh
21:32
whose stories that we have uh and they've got they've earned scholarships from Germany uh for example Arasmus
21:38
Mundus um free tuition here we have DAD of course DAD is one of the most popular
21:45
scholarships uh it's the German government scholarship of course Germany does not
21:51
already charge tition fees germany universities most of them at least uh you have to pay about like 300400 per
21:58
year anyway you can just like genuinely if you are planning to
22:03
apply to a big scholarship I think this is the best tool you'll find anywhere because like these people will give you
22:10
information about their stories about like uh what to do what not to do what they think uh the scholarship
22:17
scholarship is looking for and so yeah this is the insight you cannot get anywhere else you can only get from
22:23
people who have earned scholarships and of course a lot of these people have uh like their um like their social media as
22:32
well and I think a lot of times yeah for example LinkedIn LinkedIn Instagram and
22:38
we give that information to you as well so you can get even more u insights from them
22:44
directly we have um country guides hang on uh where is yeah we have something
22:50
called admission results uh this is something some people might be interested in a lot of like a lot of
22:56
questions are coming for this um this is basically a collection of application
23:02
results so as you can see all every single one of these uh columns um so the
23:08
these are like these are scholarships there this these lines right rows uh and
23:14
as you can see you have like uh 3,000 of these and you can just search usually
23:20
they are from universities in the United States for example you're interested in Princeton you know uh so you can look
23:29
and as you can see we have how many 44 entries for Princeton
23:35
uh these are the people who are accepted you can uh filter by that okay we have like 44 applications here and only like
23:43
six of them are accepted which ones are accepted uh some of them have lower SAT
23:49
scores some of them have lower um GPA some of them do have or do not have
23:56
expected family contribution some of them are or are not with scholarships and of course yeah you can
24:03
see like some of the scholarships that for example from Colombia with very high
24:09
SAT uh 4.0 GPA and they did not get
24:14
accepted so yeah there like you can have a good uh idea about like what is
24:20
important to this university uh so I think this is a great tool especially if you want to study in United States
24:26
because a lot of those results are for American universities okay so these are the like
24:32
some of the things that we have uh we used to have a oh okay consulting
24:38
services is reopened great um oh okay so this is
24:45
all right i see i see now uh so we used to have a consultancy service uh that
24:51
you can sign up for that will help you like uh that you can go to our like
24:56
district discord server and you can get like direct help with your application
25:02
uh that was kind of um on hold for a while and I think we are back in that
25:08
because now we have YouTube memberships and you can look at our YouTube channel and I think for um like silver or gold
25:16
membership you can um you can also join our discord server and we are trying to
25:23
implement new things as well like for example if you're interested in having a say in what kind of uh what kind of
25:30
content we're making for example uh like we are planning to make polls for new videos like this subject that
25:38
you're interested in or this university that you're interested in we can make a tutorial about that uh
25:44
like we can make videos specifically for members as well so yeah we are working
25:49
on that right now anyway other than other than that that's this is our
25:55
website this is our platform and again if you have any questions you can just feel free to ask them but otherwise
26:02
we'll see now our um scholarship of the week which is going to show
26:11
you Beijing Institute of Technology BIT International Student
26:18
Scholarship so this is one of the one of the better school universities in China i think it's about like top 10 or
26:25
something like that maybe for like 13 14th or something like that uh you can
26:30
get information about the university here about the admission process about the deadlines
26:36
uh about the tuition fees these are not very high by the way and you can click
26:41
here to go and see the scholarship or if you're watching this as a VOD uh the
26:47
link for this will be in the description and in the pin comment is there any scholarships available in Ireland we'll
26:53
see that in a second after we talk about this so bachelors this is for bachelors uh it's
27:00
in Beijing Institute of Technology again like a big university in China a good university full funding and the
27:07
admission deadline is June 15 so what it covers it covers 100% of your tuition
27:13
fees 2500 sorry Chinese one monthly statement
27:18
which is why I talk about like you have to know like I have a rough estimate about
27:25
living cost in that university and as far as I know um I think Beijing
27:32
Institute of Technology kind of estimates your living costs to be about this so like this should cover your
27:38
living cost in Beijing of course Beijing is a little bit more expensive than the rest it covers your tuition it covers
27:44
your living expenses and it gives you accommodation within the
27:49
university which is which makes it way more affordable so this even like this
27:56
covers your living expenses even even more so uh and then we have the
28:02
eligibility criteria here um just be an international bachelor student doesn't
28:07
really uh of course there are some criteria for being admitted to this
28:12
university but that's for application and I think I'll probably make a
28:17
tutorial about uh tutorial for applying to this university uh this Wednesday so
28:23
this is like the application process what you need and not and again if you
28:28
have any questions you can leave them here uh you can click here to go and see about the
28:34
scholarship directly from their website usually Chinese universities do have very comprehensive very generous
28:40
scholarships and they have usually both a Chinese government
28:46
scholarship and municipality government scholarships uh this is this one bit
28:51
international scholarship this is a little small uh but yeah as you can see there are different prizes as well um
28:59
like they do usually have Italy for bachelors we'll get to that in a second usually they have this like prize pool
29:07
if you get like fifth prize you'll get 50% tuition fee for one year fourth
29:12
prize 100% for one year um third prize again 100% yeah yeah
29:20
third prize 100% tuition for one year and accommodation second prize 100%
29:25
tuition and accommodation for four years and if you get the first prize which is global excellence scholarship uh you'll
29:32
get tuition accommodation uh step for four years and passing the annual review
29:38
will guarantee the scholarship benefits of the following academic year so you have to keep up your um grades and stuff
29:45
like that so yeah you can look at this it's a great university as it's a great
29:50
scholarship it's a good university and you can get even more information let me share the link with you if you're interested and anyone would you like to
29:57
add anything about this scholarship or the university or maybe if you want to say something um about studying in China
30:04
in general um the scholarship is pretty much
30:11
straightforward um even the eligibility criteria are as
30:17
simple as uh being a bachelor student uh but as you mentioned
30:25
uh anyone who's uh watching this should be mindful that there are other
30:30
eligibility criteria that are involved to be admitted to the university itself
30:36
and this being a top 10 university in China uh means that it's quite
30:42
competitive it's not that easy to get into such a university
30:49
uh but with uh China's uh interests and focus on attracting
30:57
international students um these scholarships are always a
31:03
great opportunity for anyone who's looking for scholarships to study abroad
31:10
and um I think most of the questions uh during our live streams are about
31:17
studying in the US studying in Europe uh in the UK but people really sleep on
31:24
such opportunities that are offered at top universities uh in China which are
31:30
top universities in the world um even if you look at the top 100
31:38
universities in the world you'll see that uh they're dominated by many uh
31:45
universities in China or Japan or South Korea so it's not only
31:53
even when compared to countries like Japan and South Korea even China is very
32:00
sleeped on right yeah oh for sure yeah definitely china is one of the
32:07
most underrated countries u when it comes
32:12
to interest shown by international students and I think uh more people should
32:21
consider uh China as a top destination
32:27
uh because not only do they offer scholarships they offer very generous
32:32
scholarships that are fully funded which we don't see in uh many countries we
32:39
talked about the UK at the beginning of the live stream and how there aren't that many uh fully funded scholarships
32:47
not to say that there aren't any at all offered by universities themselves so
32:54
there is the one offered by the the government but when it comes to universities very very few uh offer
33:02
fully funded scholarships and the US there's a full-on shift when it comes to
33:10
uh international students so their policies are changing uh many students who are recipients of
33:18
scholarships have their scholarships revoked now and the programs don't exist anymore
33:26
so with with this shift I think that
33:32
uh starting to look at countries like China would be
33:37
uh something that's great at the moment
33:43
because I think in a few years uh countries like China would be as
33:50
competitive as other countries and they would have enough international students
33:56
that they don't need to offer as many scholarships anymore so I think this is
34:03
a good uh a good time to to apply for universities in China
34:12
um to actually do research and you'll find so many uh fully funded
34:18
scholarships yeah thank you and also I do believe that like there are like a lot of uh
34:26
areas and subjects that China is kind of really starting to be very competitive
34:32
on globally are things that also um foreign students like international
34:38
students can go to China and learn very well like it is really it is a different thing if you are really dominating the
34:45
entire like the global um like area in maybe something something related to
34:52
language related to your culture or something like that but if it's like computer science you can just go to
34:58
another country that even if you are not very familiar it's because it's like kind of like based on maths it's a
35:04
technical thing you can just learn it very very well and you can learn it uh some like somewhere where it's doing
35:13
very good at this moment like at this point in time especially after whole deep seek and etc a lot of people are
35:20
more and more interested and again uh if you look at like some of the best
35:25
universities in China for example universities like Chinga uh for which we've done made tutorials application
35:31
tutorials as well and their application fees are also uh way more affordable uh there are some of the best universities
35:38
like in top 10 in top 50 top 30 top 100 there are a lot of Chinese universities
35:44
and people do not really um do not really ask all that much and of course
35:51
one thing that is very very important for a lot of people it is very very
35:56
affordable compared to United States compared to for example if you want to go study around here uh hang on you have
36:03
like Japan you have South Korea you have a lot of people are interested in studying in Australia because it's a um
36:10
like it's English- speaking country uh but these people like these countries are very expensive especially Australia
36:17
I mean Korea Korea is less so uh but China is much much more affordable like
36:23
um estimations are about like 600 650 or something like that you don't have to
36:29
you don't have to pay tens of thousands of um dollars for tuition fees so yeah I
36:36
think it's it's it's a very very overlooked opportunity of course like
36:43
um there uh we have to admit that there is a huge difference between going from
36:49
any country around Europe or any country anywhere really to USA and going to
36:55
China the culture shock will be quite different because of course we all are
37:01
very much more familiar uh with American culture than we are with Chinese culture
37:07
and so whatever happens regardless of what kind of language proficiency or what kind of training you have um going
37:14
to China will be a much more foreign experience I I guess uh than going to
37:21
compared to going to United States anyway so this was BIT international student scholarship it's a great
37:27
scholarship and as you can see it even covers accommodation and usually it's uh
37:32
I think in China most students really live on campus uh al which is why your
37:39
living costs will be even more uh affordable than like what what they
37:44
would be in like outside a lot of universities uh yes okay you are you're
37:51
very uh persistent I'll give you that okay so anyway this is China BIT
37:57
International Student Scholarship at Beijing Institute of Technology okay Italy now when it comes to Italy I think
38:06
um you've missed you missed a great chance i'm
38:11
very sorry no you didn't okay peda International Excellence Scholarship is
38:17
still available currently open so when it comes to Italy or places like France
38:24
Germany um there are not that many full funding scholarships i know I'm talking about
38:30
that i'm literally talking about that right now any scholarship for Italy so you don't really see a lot of full
38:37
funding scholarships because the great thing about European universities is that they do not charge huge tuition
38:43
fees of course they're expensive okay if you're going um we've made we just made
38:49
a video I think like a week ago or something uh talking about this
38:55
scholarship I I believe so yeah you can also check check that out we've we've
39:02
talked about it in way more detail but basically this is a great scholarship
39:07
for example Pedro International Excellence Scholarship 100% of tuition fees and €8,000 per academic year this
39:14
is for bachelors and masters and this will they estimate that this will cover
39:19
your um living expenses like they they calculate that you'll spend about like
39:26
€800 or something like that sorry but
39:32
um you can look at any one of these uh you know what let's filter for bachelors as well but one thing that I really
39:39
highly advise you is not to just go for um full funding scholarships because
39:46
usually we have this idea that okay full funding like if you don't have a lot of funds you have to have you have to get a
39:52
full funding scholarship um because that covers everything uh but that's mainly
39:58
if you're going to countries with high tuition fees uh like if you are going to
40:03
USA uh and if you don't have a full funding scholarship if you're does Italy
40:10
offer scholarship for February intake for bachelors and when will it start uh
40:15
that is a very specific um scholarship i think you have to look at our um
40:22
deadlines aan what would you say about that does it leave yeah it obviously
40:28
does there are uh scholarships for February intake for bachelors and what when will it start uh what would you say
40:34
about this like do you have any specific information or uh any idea where you can get that information
40:44
um about scholarships in Italy in uh February intake when and when they
40:52
usually open um I think the best course of action is
41:00
to use our database and even if uh the dates have
41:08
passed they will open during around the same period the next year so just use
41:15
that uh we can't update them unless the universities themselves update them uh
41:21
so that the information is accurate but you can always rely on the the fact that
41:28
they open during the same time every year uh and any scholarship that has passed
41:36
and the deadline was February it will open around the same time next year as
41:43
So you can use that as your reference just use our database um all scholarships that are
41:50
available to international students are there unless uh they're discontinued by
41:55
the universities uh but all of them are there uh and you just can use that i
42:05
don't think there is a better resource out there that um
42:14
specifies the deadlines of a full year
42:20
ahead so you just have to rely on last year's dates
42:27
okay thanks um hang on what was it i think it was Milan North of Milan so uh
42:33
again as I said um in Italy I think one
42:38
thing to keep in mind that you don't have to have full funding scholarships because there are partial scholarships
42:44
that will cover your living costs and then tuition fee is not that high is about like usually less than $1,000 uh
42:52
was it this one was it was it No this is a full tution hang on there was one
42:57
scholarship at University of Milan that I've included like a week ago or something uh
43:04
University scholarship tuition waiver i guess this it was
43:13
for well I guess it's not this one i'm not sure so yeah um it is usually way
43:20
more affordable in terms of tuition it it can be a little bit expensive especially depending on the like
43:27
depending on the city you live in rent is usually a big thing um because well
43:35
because usually if you want to study in a good university they are mostly in
43:41
expensive places because those places are usually very um touristic places so rent can be very expensive but also if
43:49
you go to somewhere like that there are you have a better chance of getting a part-time job working at a touristic
43:57
place which is why it is really is a really good idea to learn Italian even
44:03
though there are English programs and I think I've made like last week I've made
44:08
a tutorial about how to apply to University of Pedua which is one of the oldest universities in the world like it
44:14
it is what 800 years old or something like that and so uh you can apply even
44:21
though you can go with English programs if you learn Italian and then know some English you like it will be way easier
44:29
for you to find a part-time job working in a like a touristic joint or something
44:34
uh if I want to get scholarship in February intake when should I apply in Italy
44:40
uh when usually the scholarships are open for uh February intake like in Italy uh could
44:48
you like a name a specific time period ammon do you think
44:54
I actually wouldn't know I I would know but usually it's 3 months before
45:02
uh so that's the time period 3 to four months before uh the universities don't
45:08
update their websites that often and they just do that when the
45:13
scholarships are uh quite close in date so they would do
45:20
that within that time frame of 3 months and that's why it's better to rely on
45:26
the previous year's dates uh to start your preparation because if you wait for
45:32
universities you'll find that you're quite late uh on your preparation so
45:39
don't rely on that just uh start early now and whenever it opens it opens so
45:46
you'll be ready by the time it opens yeah also uh you can go to for example
45:53
if you go to any one of our uh like one of the pages that we have you'll see the
45:59
like different deadlines for scholarships if you click on those for example this is one of this is another
46:05
great scholarship in Italy benefits and exemptions for
46:10
collegial superiority students at University of Bolognia uh which is the
46:15
oldest university I believe in the world so uh also you can do like look at the
46:21
admission deadlines and website like in our pages for those universities or you
46:27
can go to their pages by clicking on like admission here how to
46:33
apply and yeah there you can get some information about the deadlines directly
46:40
from the university so every country have different GPA calculation if yes
46:45
how to find it uh I I wouldn't say every country but there are different
46:50
different scales um I think a better way to do it like uh there are conversion
46:58
tools uh very handy that you can find on uh you can find on just by googling it
47:06
on internet um is is there a specific like is there like a um what would you
47:14
say is there like a table for example these countries use this and these
47:19
countries usually use this type of GPA or something like that oh hi there Benson uh uh welcome to our members it's
47:29
great to see you and so I cannot give I cannot give any information right now uh
47:36
for um Discord channel but I will I will be more I will get myself more uh
47:43
familiar to that but welcome if you have any questions uh feel free to ask them
47:49
we kind of give um priority to uh comments from our not in live stream in
47:56
live stream of course this is just like a direct uh communication but like in videos we give priority to your comments
48:03
and again I'm I'm planning to start polls for uh content types types of
48:09
content that you are interested in not everyone how can I make best profile
48:14
that can get me every I mean that's a very broad uh very
48:19
general question so first Aemon uh do we have like a table like something you can
48:24
say about like these countries usually use this GPA uh scale and these countries do use this or something like
48:31
that um I think most universities now have a
48:37
GPA calculator or converter mhm so just by choosing a specific university
48:45
um you can probably more often than not uh find a GPA calculator on their
48:53
website and if a specific university that you're interested in does not offer
48:59
it just look for universities in the same country and I would believe that one of them has
49:06
to have it um I think that's the best way to go
49:11
about it without relying on third-party uh
49:17
sources because these universities more or less
49:22
have the same uh criteria when it comes to converting uh GPA from other
49:29
countries and I think
49:34
uh there is no better way than doing it that Uh I know for sure that US universities
49:40
have it but I'm not sure about uh universities in Europe i would assume
49:47
they have it too but I can't be too sure so I have to check that by the way um
49:54
like when whenever you are looking for information uh from a university that is in a country that is not English-
50:00
speakaking it is always a really good idea to go to their um to their website
50:07
in their original language like their native language and use try to use Google Translate too uh because there
50:13
are like some some things that are uh in their original page but not uh in their
50:20
like English page or something like that i mean you you get the idea um so what
50:25
would you say to Rusty they say how can I make a best profile that can get me every scholarship i mean not everyone
50:31
but most so this that is a very general uh question uh maybe you can give like
50:39
some sort of general advice or of course uh our consultancy service or our
50:45
discord channel kind of helps you in your according to your specific
50:50
situation uh but if you wanted to give them some like general advice what would you want to say
50:58
um I think Okay so I don't think that there
51:04
is such a thing as uh a profile that would get you every or
51:10
most scholarships uh that is I don't think anyone can guarantee you that and there are really
51:21
brilliant students with great profiles uh who didn't get the chance to uh get
51:30
scholarships so I don't think it's about that but to give yourself the best
51:36
chances of uh getting a scholarship I think uh there are a few things that you
51:44
need to be mindful of or things that you need
51:50
to keep in mind so uh it's a long process and you can't just uh do it
51:59
overnight so you need to keep in mind that you need to build this profile over
52:06
a good period of time so I would say that the minimum would be 6 months of preparation and the ideal period would
52:14
be a year m um you need to have clear goals uh when it comes to
52:21
uh what scholarships you want to apply for uh what universities you want to
52:28
apply to uh because you need to make your profile
52:36
as specific as possible to those
52:41
scholarships or those universities because they're not looking for a general profile they're looking for a
52:48
profile that is focused on them that shows them they're a priority that shows them that you have spent a lot of time
52:55
doing your research spent a lot of time uh studying the goals of that
53:02
scholarship and uh that is one of the most important things when it comes to
53:08
uh getting any award you need to show that your interest
53:15
um is genuine that you understand the
53:21
scholarship that uh you have spent
53:30
um I think we've lost you damon can you hear me yeah you're
53:36
muted so hi there Kuruku uh welcome to the live stream i didn't want
53:42
to interrupt Aean but I think horshit hi welcome welcome horshit
53:51
horse to our live stream aean we if
53:57
you hear me we can Yeah you're muted okay I think you're unmuted now sorry sorry yeah sorry yeah go ahead
54:04
um yeah so that is that is one of the most important things that you don't
54:11
need to uh have this idea of making a profile
54:16
that will just help you get most of or all scholarships you need to make a
54:23
profile that is focused on one or two scholarships
54:29
um and just from all the scholarship recipients that I have had uh the chance
54:40
of knowing their journey um just applying to a few scholarships
54:46
will help you apply to a lot more
54:53
so you just need to get the ball rolling and then it will just snowball and you will be more comfortable
55:02
uh with applying to scholarships you'll know what to do uh so I guess the second
55:08
best advice I can give you is apply to as many scholarships as you can um and
55:15
that will build your confidence that will build uh your sense of uh what scholarships are
55:24
looking for even if you get rejected and with time you will be able to build a profile that is actually good for
55:34
uh a specific scholarship so uh I guess by applying you'll have all your
55:40
documents ready which are an important part of applying to any scholarship and that will help you apply
55:47
to a lot but uh for the parts that are
55:52
specific to any scholarship you need to do them individually and that will
56:00
uh probably be the make or break uh for any scholarship so if you do that part
56:06
right you'll be able to get the scholarship uh if not it's just more
56:12
experience and you'll know what to do the next year or for the next
56:18
scholarship okay thank you um hi vibe or harsh harsh
56:25
I believe um I I've seen your comment um I think Yan directly answered that so
56:33
the thing is sometimes especially if a comment takes needs like a long time to
56:39
be to answer or uh maybe like research or something like that I do not usually
56:44
have enough time to answer all the comments because my like work time is
56:50
kind of limited to uh making content um when it comes to comments now we h we
56:57
have that like we are we have a membership and like we give priority
57:03
like Yan answers uh as much as he can uh but we also do have now a like discord
57:11
channel for our members but of course if you come to our live streams and ask your questions Aean and I do our best to
57:19
answer every single question here like uh here you can just ask your question and we'll do our best but when it comes
57:25
to YouTube comment like video comments sometimes we can answer sometimes we do not have time so yeah kind of like a hit
57:33
and miss uh when it comes to video comments so if you are like if you
57:39
become a member then your comments of course will get answers usually directly
57:44
from but not if not you can just always come to our live streams and we are here
57:50
or you should ask your consol administrator they should do
57:55
it right yeah usually you can get your uh you can get your um GPA like you can
58:04
get your like transcript and etc with your GPA
58:09
um converted to other uh skills as well they you can get that from your
58:15
university so you from your school um or you can get like get that uh
58:23
document separately to be able to apply to a specific university so yeah uh when
58:29
it comes to your question let me see I'm an Indian student and I want to study abroad but I don't know how to apply for
58:36
scholarships or universities colleges so you're at the right place uh these are
58:41
few things uh I'm looking for I want to get a scholarship for the same college
58:47
to reduce my tuition fees i'm looking for a country that is safe welcoming to Indians and suitable for living yeah I I
58:52
remember this question the country uh meets both both the above conditions i'm
58:58
okay with doing part-time work uh if the college Yeah I see uh I
59:05
understand your situation uh and I I think the thing is not really uh just
59:12
like a hostility against Indians but like a problem of in general problem of
59:19
immigration is a is a bit of a problem all around the world right now uh like
59:25
that's creates crisis everywhere and in USA or places like Canada for example uh
59:32
behaviors are changing very fast but there are other countries as uh that you can go and can get a better
59:40
chance for example uh a couple of people here asked about Italy i think Italy is
59:46
a very could be a very good choice for you uh you can type here uh or hit enter
59:53
um and go here to uh choose Italy now
59:58
Italy is usually um Italy is usually quite affordable in
1:00:05
terms of tuition fees so for example if you go to Canada if you go to Australia
1:00:11
uh and USA and usually in those countries as well um the behavior
1:00:17
against um foreign students or in general immigrants is not great because
1:00:23
there are a lot of uh foreign students coming in like uh for for quite some
1:00:29
time a lot of foreign students came in and whenever like different cultures
1:00:34
come together uh there's like collide can be it can be kind of like it can increase tensions
1:00:41
um our government don't focus on bachelor degree uh so especially if you
1:00:48
want to do your master's or PhD abroad there are more opportunities and you can
1:00:53
like you will have more time to learn for example the language i think uh it
1:00:58
is kind of same with the rusty's question i think being like being very targeting very well uh like focusing on
1:01:06
a country a specific perhaps program a subject or something like that will give
1:01:12
you a lot of edge because then you can focus and get like invest more into that
1:01:17
for example I'm I want to study in Italy if you learn Italian uh I think your
1:01:23
chances will be much much higher than a person who does not have a does not know
1:01:28
any Italian and of course that will give you chance to um chance to find part part-time jobs as
1:01:36
well uh one thing that we said is for example if you go to Italy there are a lot of touristic places and touristic
1:01:43
places usually do hire students and if you know Italian and English uh which
1:01:49
your English is uh like comes off quite fine uh I think your chances of finding
1:01:55
a job like a part-time job in a touristic joint is good in my 12th grade
1:02:02
I I scored a C and you know heart of paper in India yes so yeah I kind of I
1:02:08
understand your question i think maybe U places like USA Canada or Australia um
1:02:17
might not be a great idea Germany as well uh like if your like one of your
1:02:23
criteria was not um the whole like behavioral thing i have a a lot of
1:02:29
places a a lot of friends in Germany by the way they do not face discrimination
1:02:34
or something like that but if you want to stay extra safe uh maybe like because
1:02:40
there's kind of rising tensions in Germany as well I think for example it
1:02:46
Italy might be a good idea there are some um scholarships uh and in very
1:02:53
affordable universities in France uh I've made a video how to study for free
1:02:58
in France and there are a lot of people from different cultures in France already and or you can again China is a
1:03:07
can be a good option um I I I understand VIP I
1:03:14
understand your question um so Aean do you want to add anything or could you
1:03:19
give perhaps uh some other advice maybe something I'm wrong or something I kind
1:03:25
of missed um yes yes uh but there is there's a lot
1:03:32
of racism everywhere uh but in France a a lot like a traditionally people from
1:03:39
very different races very different nationalities very different uh languages have been living together for
1:03:47
a very very long time compared to let's say for example Germany anyway Aean do
1:03:53
you want to say anything um yeah
1:03:59
so just based on um the scholarship recipients on our
1:04:08
website uh most of the recipients from India have actually pursued scholarships uh in
1:04:15
Asia so in Japan in uh South Korea so I
1:04:21
think because there's uh the culture is um quite I wouldn't
1:04:28
say similar but it's not as drastically different as it would be Mhm uh in
1:04:33
Europe and I don't think that people would face uh much racism uh in uh these
1:04:41
countries although it's not unheard of but I would say it's not as bad as some
1:04:47
of the countries uh that were that were discussed uh yeah Austria is actually a
1:04:54
great country to uh pursue higher education
1:05:01
um I think it's one of the u most progressive countries uh in the sense
1:05:09
that it is welcoming to international students i would say that Hungary is in
1:05:14
the same category um yeah Poland used to be but
1:05:21
not so much anymore uh I would say that uh Austria maybe the Netherlands Belgium
1:05:28
uh Spain these are countries that I wouldn't really or I haven't heard uh
1:05:38
that like bad things about so the these are uh
1:05:46
recommendations uh that I that I have in general uh when
1:05:52
it comes to uh studying in Europe but if
1:05:57
you're not only focused on Europe I think uh well we talked about China a
1:06:04
little a little bit ago when we discussed this week's uh fully funded
1:06:10
scholarship but uh South Korea Japan also remain
1:06:17
great options i would say Hong Kong is a good one as well um and even Vietnam has
1:06:26
a lot of scholarships for international students
1:06:31
okay um thank you so thank you Aean um hang on yeah okay so about a Austria
1:06:39
we've made a couple videos and Austria is usually a uh popular choice when it
1:06:45
comes to our videos a lot of people are interested in for example we made videos about uh English universities best
1:06:52
medical schools uh study in Austria for free cheap universities and we've made videos for a couple of scholarships for
1:06:59
example GMAT scholarship at a lot leather business school so you can look
1:07:04
into those if you're interested in um consider the fact of conversion rate
1:07:10
like your dollars in rupees if by that you mean um like uh
1:07:16
hang on hang on a second uh if you by that by that you mean like how expensive it is to live so yeah Europe will be um
1:07:24
kind of more expensive than let's say China or South Korea japan is also kind
1:07:32
of like kind of based like depending on the country and depending on on where
1:07:37
you want to study in Japan Japan can be a bit expensive u so yeah usually when
1:07:42
it comes to if by um conversion rate you mean like living expenses yeah for
1:07:49
example China is a great we've talked about that China is a great option uh because like it is very affordable
1:07:56
scholarships are very affordable so so tions are very affordable there are some
1:08:01
great schools like very very high ranking globally high ranking top 10 schools in there uh and they do offer a
1:08:09
lot of very good scholarships and if you learn the language uh your chances will
1:08:14
be even higher so I'm I'm not sure really about like I
1:08:20
cannot say anything about the whole um racism thing i genuinely never heard
1:08:26
anything about that uh considering uh concerning China other than that how can I talk to you in voice
1:08:33
so um this is basically our Q&A live stream again we have we do have a new
1:08:42
membership option uh that you can like can be added to our discord channel uh
1:08:49
that like I think that will that can enable you to have like voice chat or like get direct help about your specific
1:08:56
uh applications um other than that that that's pretty much it you can uh if you have any questions about something
1:09:04
specific uh Han answers every single uh question in our comment section in
1:09:10
globalcolarships.com uh in our like YouTube video comment section
1:09:17
uh can I talk with you now i'm not sure what do you mean by that if do you mean by voice chat again as I said like it is
1:09:24
on discord our discord channel and people are added on discord our discord channel discord server uh if there are
1:09:31
members I do believe that's something new for us as well so I'm not perfectly
1:09:37
sure about that go and see our membership if you can um I think it's silver members or higher can uh join our
1:09:47
uh discord server so yeah says sorry Arab it's been a while since you've
1:09:52
asked that can you tell us about New Zealand scholarship tuition fee living
1:09:58
expense job opportunities in IT field and which type of student can consider i
1:10:03
don't think we have much on our website on our platform um I see vibe uh that's not
1:10:12
something I decide unfortunately uh so yeah if you have any questions this is
1:10:18
like we can we can answer every single question here as much as we can or comments in our YouTube videos other
1:10:25
than that membership is not something I decide unfortunately I'm just host uh in
1:10:30
this YouTube channel um Ammon do you want to say anything about New Zealand like scholarships tition fees living
1:10:36
expenses job opportunities IT field which type of students can consider uh
1:10:42
we don't we we we haven't done any made any content for that country i believe
1:10:49
maybe we have a country guide uh usually those have uh this kind of
1:10:58
information uh but for the most part other than that I I don't think that we
1:11:04
have uh much about New Zealand other than of course the scholarship opportunities that are there um the
1:11:12
university pages have the tuition fees they have the average tuition fees uh we
1:11:18
definitely have articles about the cheapest universities in New Zealand or the best universities in New Zealand ju
1:11:26
just to make it clear uh by we've not made any content i meant on YouTube
1:11:31
sorry go ahead that's kind it it kind of escaped my radar uh so that's what I
1:11:36
meant yeah sorry go ahead there is yeah well in that case he would know more uh
1:11:43
than I do yeah but on the website there there's ample information about studying
1:11:50
in New Zealand in general uh so all the big countries are covered uh that
1:11:56
includes the the big uh English-speaking countries like the UK Canada the US
1:12:03
Australia and New Zealand uh the available scholarships are there
1:12:10
um yeah I think I don't know in the in the
1:12:17
last few years uh Australia and New Zealand have shifted focus
1:12:25
uh from uh scholarships that are offered for international students to pursue
1:12:34
uh uh higher education to more more towards
1:12:41
uh work um opportunities
1:12:48
so they're just looking for skilled workers rather than just uh
1:12:55
international students so that they're looking for people who have uh finished
1:13:00
their studies and uh they're ready to work in sectors where they need people
1:13:10
uh yeah so they have a government scholarship which is a a great uh
1:13:17
scholarship it's fully funded and we have uh recipient stories on our website
1:13:26
uh if uh anyone wants to check them I think they detail
1:13:33
um their in their experience a lot of things including
1:13:39
uh their experience uh with the application process and what
1:13:46
living in New Zealand is like so I guess that's a good place to start
1:13:54
okay thank you um so um not really vibe i think it is usually
1:14:03
like um when people from different cultures kind of or they are forced
1:14:10
um uh kind of forced to live together usually that kind of increased tensions
1:14:17
everywhere and some in some countries that has been more the case and in some
1:14:22
countries that has been less for example I'm in I'm from Turkey and we have had a
1:14:27
refugee crisis from which I really I can really closely observe it is just kind
1:14:33
of like tensions uh rise regardless of whichever side is from where it is it is
1:14:40
just something that happens anyway guys thank you very much for joining our live stream we're going to be ending our live
1:14:45
stream now i I kind of need to um say
1:14:51
that next week usually we are here uh Fridays at the same time uh but next two
1:14:59
weeks I might be not I might not be here or uh maybe we can change our um hours
1:15:06
or something like that i will announce I'll do the announcement uh I we really need to go live um so yeah guys um but
1:15:15
I'm going to do the announcement to let you know uh thank you Arab great to see
1:15:20
you thank you Viro everyone who joined in thank you very much um again we are
1:15:26
like check out our website there is a ton of information uh check out our YouTube page we've made like I made a
1:15:32
lot of videos in the last year uh one of you might help you so other than that if
1:15:39
you have any questions you can leave in leave them in our uh comment section in our videos we do our best to answer them
1:15:46
i mean we cannot I cannot answer all of them some of them come like there's a
1:15:51
priority for members now uh if you leave your comments in our comment section in
1:15:59
global scholarships they're all answered by Han Lee and we do always of course
1:16:06
you can always come to our live stream to get answers if you have any questions or you can just um join our membership
1:16:14
and that's something not really uh we we do not have insta or you can uh you can
1:16:21
just go to LinkedIn i think we're still there so yeah there are a lot of ways to
1:16:26
uh ask your questions if you have any specific ones thank you for watching thank you if you're watching this on VOD
1:16:32
thank you uh for watching the VOD um again vibe these are the these are the
1:16:40
one like these are the main real ways to connect with us uh so yeah uh thank you
1:16:47
