2:15
to our live stream so I mean we're going to see a couple of scholarships today uh
2:22
I'm going to show you how to find like guides have to find scholarships using our website and our tools but basically
2:29
like the mainly a Q&A live stream so if you have any questions at any point just
2:34
ask them again I'm here joined by Aman Aman is our expert he is here to answer
2:40
like every question that you might have about scholarships about studying abroad so like they don't have to be your
2:45
questions don't have to be about the specific scholarship that we are seeing about the specific school or anything
2:51
they can be just about your um specific situation all right so keep that in mind
2:57
if you have any questions at any point just feel free to ask them so other than that this is our website we have here
3:04
like guides we have guides about like documents about like English tests and
3:10
Etc we have guides about we have scholarship stories those are stories of people who uh our scholarship recipients
3:18
who share us with their uh share with us their stories of how they got the scholarship uh like what are their
3:24
experiences like what advice can you give us and Etc so yeah and we have the scholarships here
3:30
now um another thing that I want to show I will show you is our if you go to our
3:37
uh website Global scholarships.com on our main page homepage you will see our
3:44
um search tool basically so this Search tool is a free tool that you can use um
3:51
to find scholarships uh that are available uh eligible that are available for you suitable for you basically you
3:58
can type in anything you want as you can see there's no like payment there's no pricing there is no uh create an account
4:05
or something none of that just you can go to Global scholarships.com and use this Search tool right now you can type
4:12
in like if you have any country in mind or maybe let's say nursing right it said
4:18
nursing it's just a random thing maybe you have a subject in
4:23
mind you can just choose the subject you can choose even a scholarship let's choose nursing
4:31
and it will show us um the scholarships in our database that are for nursing
4:38
students now um as you can see we have thousands um no uh that's not what this
4:47
um live stream is about uh Yan it's about like scholarships uh about
4:53
studying abroad uh studying in foreign countries like if you have any other specific questions we might be able to
4:58
help you with those so as you can see we have thousands and thousands of scholarships in our database some of
5:04
them are suitable for bachelor some of them are uh Master students some of them
5:10
as you can see these are specifically for nursing students or if you don't have anything in mind and you just want
5:17
to see like what scholarships there are you can just hit enter here all
5:22
right and you can use our filters now we can like we have a couple of filters
5:27
here you can filter by degree it's Bachelor Masters or PhD uh you can
5:33
choose any of these based on your situation you can choose a location now some of these locations have more
5:39
scholarships than others uh for example you will find more Scholarships in United States um in China in Australia
5:46
in Canada uh then let's say Belgium right uh so like you can just try it out
5:53
and see which countries have uh more scholarships that are suitable for you
5:59
um so scholarship type right so scholarship type is extremely important for a lot of
6:04
people basically if you do not know what what scholarship types are we have uh
6:10
three types of scholarships uh partial funding full tuition and full funding basically hang on let me just uh fix my
6:18
oh no I cannot do that sorry it will be um it won't be visible if I fix it sorry
6:26
uh so we have partial full Tu and full funding basically partial means that the scholarship covers less than your
6:33
tuition fees so let's say these are all full funding right um let me choose
6:39
actually partial funding and see one partial funding scholarship so this is admission scholarship for international
6:45
students at lud University in South Korea right so uh this
6:51
University if we click on the University and go see the University's page um my
6:57
internet is a little slow I'm sorry about that um that's like it's just the whole thing in turkey that our uh
7:05
internet is a little slowed down because of um some very unfortunate events so
7:11
you can see this university has about 6,000 or
7:16
$8,000 uh of Tuan fees right that's what university charges for Tuan fees and
7:23
this scholarship admission scholarship for okay this will be a painful live stream um this covers 40% tuition fees
7:32
and exemption in admission fees which makes this a partial scholarship so it can be like about 40% 50% 80% tuition
7:40
fees reduction uh a partial funding scholarship or it could be about let's say they give you I don't know $10,000
7:48
in total like they just give you $10,000 and that's it uh since that wouldn't cover four years of tuition fees again
7:56
this would be counted as a uh partial tuition so that's what partial tuition
8:01
means partial funding means so it covers less than tuition fees we have full tuition as you might get from the uh
8:09
name full tuition covers tuition fees and that's it it's just like whatever the tuition fees that the university is
8:15
charging it could be about like um $5,000 $10,000 if you are planning to uh
8:22
study in South Korea as you just saw or maybe in Japan could be about $30,000
8:27
$40,000 um if you want to study in let's say Canada or United States could be even more for some private universities
8:34
in the United States uh but full tuition covers that and just that what do you
8:39
think about high schools in United Kingdom asks thos Thomas musk hi there
8:47
Thomas musk too um I'm gon to I don't have about of like a lot of knowledge on
8:52
that so I'm going to have ask that to aan aan what do you think about high school in United Kingdom
9:07
sorry I I was muted yeah sorry goe um yeah I don't have much
9:15
information on high schools in the UK as far as International students are
9:21
concerned um I know people who went to UK high schools and I'm not sure what
9:29
kind of information you're looking for exactly um at the end of high school so
9:36
you'll have six form and after that you'll sit for your GCS then your A Levels if you're looking
9:43
for what kind of uh uh International exams you're setting
9:50
for in the UK so they set for a levels before going to University um this is basically the
9:58
general things that I can give you if you're
10:03
looking for something specific and I know about it I can give you more
10:10
information other than that we're more specialized uh uh when it comes to studies at
10:18
University level rather than High
10:24
School okay thank you very much Aman if you have any other questions that are like maybe more specific specifically
10:31
about the uh about scholarships in general or studying abroad uh we might be able to help you a little
10:37
better so yeah this is our tool yes I was talking about uh full tuition
10:42
scholarships so we also have uh full funding scholarship so full funding scholarships are the most comprehensive
10:49
ones uh like the best scholarships basically um they're are not that many
10:54
of those and they're really competitive full funding means it like it this um in
11:00
our classification it means it covers the tuition fees and then it gives you something more so let let me choose
11:06
something choose a full funding here so this is SK Global scholarship program
11:11
which I think we have made a video about uh very recently so SK Global
11:17
scholarship program at Korea University so this is full funding why it's full funding because it covers well it covers
11:24
pretty much everything it covers tuition fees for four semesters entrance fee roundtrip Fair a living St point of 1
11:31
million uh 500,000 South Korean WS per month it covers health insurance and cor
11:37
Korean language training fee so most full funding scholarships wouldn't cover this many things basically we look for
11:44
something more than tuition fees so uh maybe it could be like a uh hang on
11:52
could be about like um accommodation could be about health insurance could be
11:57
about a living stien perhaps like monthly yearly or just a onetime lumpsum
12:03
um um stipend or something allowance so those mean like we put those in full
12:11
funding category uh Thomas asks my English level is B2 is it suitable for a
12:16
UK High School um what do you think Aman I think it is
12:25
probably um it could be I really am not not aware of the admission requirements
12:33
to high schools in the UK I'm not sure how many International students are
12:40
accepted to study at UK universities um I think you'll have to
12:47
do some in-depth research about this
12:53
um yeah it's it's it's not something that I'm generally aware of
13:02
okay thank you very much so um like one example is register Services I can
13:10
see um like for immigration service um you
13:15
need to prove that you can speak right and understand uh so basically like for immigration you need B2 uh maybe that's
13:23
what you you got the notion that it's B2 um for immigration that is is okay but
13:30
like yes there's nothing here that says anything about um High School right so
13:38
um let me see where we were okay a bunch of people just joined in through Tik Tok
13:45
welcome everyone we are talking about um scholarships and studying
13:50
abroad yeah so yeah that's full funding that's basically um like could be
13:55
everything you might need uh for example leser B Pearson is a very um popular
14:02
scholarship at Canada in Canada so let's see that again as you can see this is
14:07
for Bachelors it's full funding because it covers 100% of tuition fees books and
14:12
materials fees and accommodation fees so as you can see this is full funding even though it doesn't give you any money
14:19
doesn't give you any living living sement or allowance it just gives you um
14:25
tuition fees and then some like books and materials and sorry and accommodation and accommodation can be
14:31
quite expensive and una affordable um Bas like especially if you're if you're going to a very like
14:39
crowded metropolitan area uh like Toronto or like maybe New York um LA or
14:47
like Tokyo or Soul like that kind of place so accommodation is always good uh
14:52
that like it it's always good that accommodation is covered by a scholarship but it's not always that you
14:59
can find those look so basically it's so we have about like let me show you all
15:06
all from all types of scholarships we have about 4,500 scholarships and only
15:13
about um 340 of them are full funding so full funding scholarships are not that
15:20
easy to come by and they are also quite competitive so it's not very easy to get
15:27
so yeah um and then you can then you can filter for um deadline
15:36
obviously like if you are looking for a scholarship that uh you can apply right now um or a subject now one thing about
15:43
subject you can choose accounting or any other subject here to see scholarships that are available for that but you have
15:51
to keep in mind that some there are two types of scholarships that you will see uh when you choose a subject here and
15:59
and one of them is scholarships that are specifically
16:04
um that specifically stay there for like accounting students you know these are
16:10
like basically for accounting and these subjects like they have specific subjects that include accounting well
16:18
there are a lot of them actually so this is for example Franciscan scholarship at
16:23
uh SI College United States this is specifically for accounting students right
16:30
okay so wow there are a lot of scholarships for accounting students I did not know
16:36
that um all right so yes so first uh our
16:45
Search tool is going to show you the scholarships that are specifically for
16:50
that subject but then you will see all subject scholarships so basically most scholarships uh do not have specific
16:57
subjects uh for example like whatever University is offering them they're
17:02
offering to all the students they have so um if your subject is offered in this
17:08
University College of William and Mary for example uh then you will be able to apply for this
17:14
scholarship as you can see all subjects oper that College of William and Mary um
17:20
so yeah even though it clearly like it's in the list for accounting subject you
17:27
have to keep in mind that you need to go and check if the university offers that specific program because if they do not
17:34
offer that program in the first place you will not be able to go there and get the scholarship for accounting so um
17:41
that's quite an important um thing so let's choose all subjects and we have
17:47
nationalities uh basically people give a lot of importance to
17:53
nationalities always asking about uh like I'm from this nationality I'm from
17:58
this this country can I find scholarships uh are there any um what is going
18:04
on no what is that now um so I'm
18:12
sorry Cena I believe it was uh I do not know what that even means like joining
18:20
in as a guest so yeah um what was I saying yes so people are
18:27
asking like there are there any scholarships from people from this country that country or something yeah
18:33
usually scholarships don't have any nationalities um like for example we can
18:39
choose Afghanistan Albania um or Angola here I'll just choose turkey because I'm
18:45
from Turkey this summer I studied language in
18:50
the UK says Thomas and my 10th grade uh and also my father are here is more
18:58
logical to go to high school or University or Post University so for you're asking which
19:06
one is more logical for you to pursue right like should I go uh try to go to
19:11
England like United Kingdom for high school or Aman what do you think about that um I think like post postgraduation
19:20
might be uh like a graduate school might be uh more suitable in terms of
19:25
scholarships because then you will be able to find more scholarships um especially in United Kingdom there are
19:32
not that many scholarships for Bachelors and I don't even know anything about uh
19:39
high school education uh but well then since also your father is uh there maybe
19:44
in terms of Education aan might give us a better idea hi there NE neurobiology we'll be back uh with you in a second
19:52
Aman what do you think about that um I think if you're in 10 grade 10th grade sorry you don't have have a high school
19:59
diploma and then you can't possibly pursue a degree at University without a
20:06
high school diploma so I think the logical way to go about this is to go to high
20:11
school um and finish the couple of years you have
20:16
left and then uh pursue a a bachelor's for an undergraduate degree at
20:24
University level um yeah so I think That's The Logical way to go about
20:31
it okay thank you very much so someone asked y are you Turkish yes I'm from
20:37
Turkey um Welcome to our live stream if you have any questions about scholarships or studying abroad uh we
20:43
are here to help you neurobiology said I have my Nation Scholarship for PhD I
20:49
just need any college which come under 500 qu ranking Aman what do you think
20:54
about that uh um I mean I don't see the issue
21:01
at all so you just need to see the it's
21:06
public the Qs world record for 2024 and then you can see the top 500
21:13
universities and you choose which ones like you
21:21
can um short list the universities that you want to go to then see which ones
21:28
are more suitable for your PhD degree contact supervisors at those universities see
21:35
which supervisors would agree with your research or project and since you have a scholarship
21:43
from your country I think you should have no issue with that so just contact
21:49
supervisors um see if they agree with your researcher project and then you can
21:55
narrow down your choice to uh three four five universities and from there it's
22:00
easy to choose between uh one and four universities as opposed to one and
22:08
500 uh yeah so if you need more more help with this like if you have more
22:15
specific questions uh we can answer those as well okay thank you very
22:23
much um Li Lian asks le le Lian asks
22:28
asks what is the easiest way to get master degree in law in
22:34
Netherland hm well that's a very specific question we usually
22:40
um appreciate specific questions um Aman what do you what would you
22:46
say I really don't know when people ask about the easiest way because there is
22:51
only one way uh to go about
22:56
uh admission in General application so you have to go through the same steps as
23:03
every student has ever gone through uh there are no
23:08
shortcuts um so yeah like if you could ask the
23:15
question in a more specific way like uh if you are between um different options
23:23
uh we might be able to help you a little better sir you have four license have
23:29
you you have four license yes I fa I'm not sure I understand that
23:35
question um Amon can you understand that question
23:41
so you have four license sure you have four license I'm not sure I I think for
23:47
countries um that go with the French system Lance is uh a bachelor's degree
23:54
so they're probably asking for uh scholarships at the bachelor's
24:00
level okay um Tomas says my cousin is an architect in the United Kingdom and he
24:06
says that universities here are very expensive um well they are comparatively
24:12
expensive in terms of like a lot of United like UK universities have high
24:19
tuition fees like high year tuition fees about 20,000 um sometimes they go to like past
24:26
30,000 um pounds and also like based on where you study uh the like living expenses could
24:34
be very very high too and when like compared to some somewhere like United
24:40
States for example like United States is not cheaper than United Kingdom but you
24:46
would have like there are more scholarship opportunities uh or somewhere like let's say perhaps South
24:54
Korea um or Taiwan does not um yeah
24:59
actually Taiwan is not also um not as expensive as United Kingdom have more um
25:07
like can have more scholarships so yeah um I think it's kind of not as expensive
25:12
as maybe Australia maybe Canada though it could be but also doesn't have that
25:18
many scholarships as well so in total a lot of people won't be able to afford an education there and Aman do you want to
25:26
add anything about that one like I mean it's kind of um common sense I believe that United
25:33
Kingdom is uh one of the expensive countries to study abroad yeah so the
25:38
tuition in the United Kingdom is double for international students then it would
25:43
be for domestic students it's already expensive enough because of the value of the pound in comparison to other
25:51
currencies as well um so it would add up so if you convert to
25:59
USD it would probably be close to the tuition fees in the
26:04
US uh I think the minimum you can pay is 18K uh pounds and it just goes up from
26:12
there depending on the universities depending if it's a Russell group University and those are very selective
26:19
too so uh education is very very expensive in the UK um at the University
26:26
level yes so you need a scholarship and there aren't many of
26:33
those not to say there aren't any like I think I I was looking at it the other
26:38
day and I think most universities give at most 5,000 to 6,000 off and it's not
26:48
even that much uh in comparison to the total
26:53
tuition fees um yeah so UK is to me is is one of
26:58
the least generous countries when it comes to scholarships for international
27:04
students um so you you either need to be able to
27:10
afford it there are there's the chevin but it's only for graduate students but
27:16
at the undergraduate level um there isn't much you can do except for being able to afford
27:24
education there yeah like the way I see there are um
27:30
also like when you go to the uh scholarship page and like uh search at
27:37
the results you see like 600 but there are quite a number of uh like Sanctuary
27:43
scholarships among them like Sanctuary scholarships Refugee Seekers like Asylum
27:49
Seekers Refugee scholarships and Etc as well like not all of those are available
27:55
for everyone so yeah there are that many that will be available for you uh one
28:02
thing I would say is like from uh experiences of my cousin who went to not
28:09
study to United Kingdom but just to live there um he did not have very difficult
28:15
time finding like a part-time job finding uh finding a normal job and Etc
28:21
um might be a little bit easier um to do like to find a part-time job uh because
28:27
of the I think English as a language has less um language barrier than um other
28:35
languages might be for example like you probably if you're 18 or something you
28:41
probably never um encountered German or Japan or Chinese um in a in a in a
28:49
context that you might learn that language but like if you're 18 probably everyone has like know at least a little
28:55
English uh it's kind of easier to learn it's very very Global you can learn it
29:00
everywhere so like it might be a little bit easier to get the get to the proficiency level uh that you can find a
29:07
part-time job per apps and finance your um own education but even that would be
29:13
not very simple actually I mean uh a lot of things are very expensive es
29:19
especially like you need to live in if you need to live in London like the central London uh yeah that will
29:26
bankrupt you very very very fast actually let me let's see nambo
29:33
that's a very uh good website that I use all the time like they have a cost of
29:39
living uh map actually my cousin I asked
29:44
my cousin about like are there more scholarships for Masters or Bachelors asks High tag so one thing that I can
29:53
see like before um passing the mic to um Amon one thing thing I can see I can say
29:59
from experience is that if you go to our website Global scholarships.com and search for um like Masters and PhD
30:07
students one thing I will say is especially for United States um like
30:12
there are a lot of graduate assistantships that are for
30:18
both and hang on why is hang on why is it doing that
30:24
uh for both Masters and PhD students oh I'm so sorry uh m m I think that's
30:33
how we pronounce your name uh I will try to talk slower sorry um hang on let's
30:41
say United States right so there are a lot of graduate assistantships that are both for
30:47
Master's and PhD students um but the thing is that um most of these are
30:55
like mostly for PhD students like even though you can apply as a master students um they are usually left for M
31:03
PhD students so keep that in mind in terms of uh our results but other than
31:09
that uh phds I believe have more um opportunities for scholarships um Aman
31:16
do you think so too like correct me if I'm wrong
31:21
here um yeah I think we talked about this last week uh when we discussed this
31:28
but for the most part it's not that undergraduate students have less
31:34
scholarships it's that the that the scholarships offered to undergraduate students are last four to five years as
31:42
opposed to those offer to Masters and PhD students which could be just two
31:48
years for Masters and therefore you would find more opportunities there like
31:53
in theory uh yes there are more funding options for master students and it's
32:00
also from an economic point of view uh it's something that makes sense because
32:06
that's research that could contribute to to the economy it it could uh some
32:12
breakthroughs uh can very can be very lucrative for a lot of companies and
32:18
that's why they invest in master students and PhD students as well uh but
32:25
at the same time I would think that the schol ships offered to undergraduate students uh
32:32
few they may be uh but um they are scholarships offered for
32:40
a long time as well so it's not only two years it's not one year it's four to
32:46
five years contingent on you getting good grades so if you get a scholarship
32:53
uh on your first year and then you there is a certain threshold of grades you
32:58
should upkeep um otherwise they would take away the scholarship
33:05
so uh provided that you keep getting good marks and re reaching those uh
33:12
grades toward the minimum required grades you would have a scholarship for five full years uh whereas for master
33:20
students it's just only two years and that's why you find many many opportunities uh distributed equal
33:28
and sometimes dis disproportionately across uh departments but it it's
33:37
generally by school or by Department rather than globally through the university so generally there's one
33:46
scholarship that is offered to everyone at the time of admission for undergraduate for Masters it's by
33:52
department so the Department of Law can offer 20 scholarships and then the
33:57
Department of humanities can offer to but at the same time there are 22 opportunities at the Master's level at
34:04
the University so uh you can find one scholarship for undergraduate 22 for
34:10
Masters but uh it's not really indicative of the funds that are being
34:17
uh allocated to each degree okay thank you very much uh By
34:23
the way high sorry for butchering your question you clearly ask are there more school scholarships for Masters or B
34:29
Bachelors I for some reason read that as Masters or PhD that's that was what I
34:35
was answering sorry about that um Optimist uh says I'll soon be in the US
34:41
or UK um well well um I hope everything works well for
34:48
you if you have any questions that we might be able to help um just feel free
34:53
to ask that uh thas says thanks for the important conversation thank you very much uh uh for joining here now one
35:00
thing that I would I will say now this nambo uh has a cost of living map right
35:08
and you can go H hi there an I I will come back to you in a second so you can go and like
35:15
in this map there are a lot of different cities um and you can just come here and
35:20
click on any of those and they will give you a very comprehensive list of uh hi
35:26
there BOS uh what's going on here uh we are talking about scholarships and studying
35:32
Brad if you have any questions if you're interested uh you can ask your questions as you can see very comprehensive like
35:38
pricing lists living costs and Etc and the other day I was like uh studying
35:44
this a little bit and I decided that I would ask my cousin who went there and
35:49
like he's a person that like if he was going to do something um he would do a lot of research on uh like finances like
35:57
could he afford it and etc etc so like he went to live there uh with his uh
36:03
wife so I I asked him like uh do you know of this do you know this website and he said yeah I basically did my
36:11
whole research from this website uh and like using these numbers for London and
36:17
he said that um most prices are very accurate um just that like rent's kind
36:23
of a little bit not true because they can change uh and Etc um so like rents
36:30
are not fully accurate but the others like the rest is very very very accurate
36:35
uh he basically used apparently this to um calculate what he would need and like
36:42
it turned out well for him U he's living there without any issues so yeah I would
36:48
highly advise you if you are planning to go there and study there uh I would advise you to uh look into this website
36:55
I'm from Turkey BOS so Anna uh or Anna uh are there any
37:01
scholarships for undergraduates yes based on like kind of depends on where
37:06
you want to study you can right now go to Global scholarships.com right uh hang on let me actually show
37:13
you and this is our Search tool if you have any country in mind you can just type in let's say if you want to study
37:19
in Canada then you can um it's all fine BOS uh the uh live
37:27
stream is in English but yeah I'm tur I'm from Turkey you can choose the Country Canada or United States or
37:34
whatever or if you don't have any countries in mind you can just hit enter and then in the filter section
37:43
I'll show if my internet loads the page
37:48
but I will consider UK as well so is there so is there any scholarship website you can recommend to me yes
37:56
global scholarships.com obviously uh so this is our website um you can choose like locations United
38:03
Kingdom or United States um so Optimist are you going for um bachelor's degree
38:10
or like master or PhD so um BOS what is a scholarship what means so basically it
38:18
Scholarships in Turkish it's B you know uh the country the university gives you
38:24
some sort of financial aid uh so that you would you would be able to go there
38:29
and study in that country or school so yeah for Bachelors andna you can just
38:36
choose a bachelor's here and use I'm so sorry for my
38:43
internet um yes so you can CH choose any of these if that you might be interested
38:49
in uh unfortunately there are not that many uh full funding ones compared to
38:55
maybe phds uh um but you can choose any of these like if you're interested in a
39:00
specific country you can choose that too uh but yeah there are a number of um
39:06
undergraduate scholarships for example these ones are quite good uh financial aids can cover
39:13
every uh like everything you might need so they are very comprehensive
39:19
scholarships um so yeah um thank you so much I want to pursue
39:25
Masters in economics or data science inshah um I hope you uh like you get
39:31
what you want so basically again you can choose your subject here um you can
39:36
choose your degree level here let's say like ma Masters instead of bachelor's uh
39:42
all types again for subjects um pretty much like most universities um most
39:50
universities offer economics as a master's program I did my masters in economics by the way uh and data science
39:57
too a lot of universities have data science as a program so like if you choose that economics
40:04
right um most scholarships that you will see here would be available for um
40:10
economics but some of them are specifically for business and economics business economics for example this is a
40:15
really good scholarship it's a full funding one in Amsterdam right uh
40:21
business talent and talent fund um all nationalities but just business and
40:27
economics where can I contact you personally uh the best way to contact us
40:33
is here on our live stream or um you can
40:39
basically you can if you have a specific question about the scholarship about a university the best way to ask your
40:44
questions in my opinion my personal opinion is like this is a scholarship
40:49
right or maybe you want to ask any questions about University of Amsterdam let's go here right so if you scroll
40:57
down uh we have a under everything all the scholarships
41:04
and Etc we have a comment section so you can leave your question here and uh Yan
41:09
Lee which is who is the founder of global scholarships answers all the questions there I haven't seen any
41:15
unanswered question so if you have a specific one this might like this would be where I would put my question um
41:22
other than that you can um comment on our YouTube um
41:27
videos um maybe Tik Tok I we don't really look into Tik Tok comments all that often also we do have Consulting
41:36
Services uh but I do not know much about them you can just go to Global
41:41
scholarships.com under About Us section uh you can
41:48
choose partner us PR about us hang on am I missing
41:54
it is that moved um as it wasn't moved uh we removed it
42:04
because we have enough students and we want to just focus on the ones we have so to give them the best help help we
42:11
could uh for this year or for the time being we have enough and uh we can't
42:17
take more it's uh uh it just it requires a lot of time a lot of help over time so
42:26
we don't want to just accept everyone and then not give
42:31
them the best help they could have so just to be fair to everyone we pause it for now yeah and it will it will resume
42:39
at some point but uh for the near future it it's
42:44
bed yeah okay I'm sorry an um apparently we do not offer consultan services right
42:52
now but we also have a newsletter sign up so like you can sign up to that and they will show it'll send you um like
42:59
personalized emails about scholarships yeah but like if you if you have any
43:04
questions this would be um the best way to uh you know reach an expert from
43:11
Global scholarships which is aan here he joins us every Friday uh for the live
43:16
stream so other than that we don't have like a uh like a um like a WhatsApp or
43:23
like Instagram account that you can DM us through uh we do not have that football asks hi I'm a great 12 student
43:32
from Ethiopia interested interested in studying about any tips for scholarship
43:38
so basically if you have any um like more specific interests um that might
43:44
like we might be able to help you better like normally um I would clearly like obviously advise you
43:52
to go to our website and learn about different scholarships different countries like what of what what which
43:57
countries offer what kind of scholarships uh what scholarships you can get um again I really had highly
44:04
advise you like we do not have any association with nambo by the way but I
44:09
just like don't have to use this website either but I really highly advise you to go and search about like living costs in
44:17
different countries because like you will have very different um experiences studying in let's say Texas uh in the
44:24
United States then uh if studying in New York uh let's say studying in Spain
44:32
which is way more affordable uh maybe Italy or like Singapore like those
44:37
countries will hi there P welcome uh will'll give you very different
44:43
experiences so I would advise looking up looking that up um other than that I
44:49
don't think we can give any specific advice for someone in 12th grade in
44:55
Ethiopia uh think very much The Optimist uh see you again go just go go search
45:02
like I really uh enjoy exploring what scholarships are there in uh our website
45:08
too um so yeah Aman do you have any specific um advices for football like a
45:16
12 year sorry 12th grade student from Ethiopia any tips for
45:22
scholarships um I think like a few pointer would be
45:29
focus on extracurricular activities yeah uh good grades start applying early or preparing
45:37
early it's a process it's not just something you apply for uh in a month or
45:43
in a week it's a whole process that you have to go through get your
45:49
recommendation letters from your teachers uh write your letters of or
45:55
letter of motivation the the scholarship requires an essay write the essay get some peer review get
46:04
uh or I mean at this level I don't think you can get peer review but you can get your essay reviewed by uh someone who's
46:11
a teacher or a tutor uh that's uh something that is
46:18
important as well um yeah other than that just just
46:23
know that it's a process it's not that an easy uh straightforward way to get Fund
46:32
in uh it's a it's a whole uh Journey
46:38
that you have to go through and I think the best place to start is to go to our
46:44
scholarship uh success stories on our website so these are students who got the scholarships and they
46:51
shared uh how they had done it the process what they did how they
46:58
prepared uh the advice they give you the mistakes they made that they don't want
47:04
other students to make what made their scholarship stand out uh all of these
47:09
are shared by these students and you can learn a lot from their experience so it will just take you from knowing nothing
47:16
about the process to at least knowing a little bit about what is involved uh in
47:23
applying to Scholarships in applying to institutions uh it comes to studying abroad so you learn a lot just by
47:29
reading these stories I think you'll learn more than reading any Guide online
47:35
because these are people who actually got the scholarships it's not just theoretical but it's actually practical
47:41
advice from people who succeeded uh yeah thank you very much Amon so
47:48
basically normally there would be a page here uh with this person's um
47:55
experiences again could go to resources if you have any specific degree in mind
48:00
you can just click there hi there Coy Kitty um I saw your um I saw your
48:07
message welcome I didn't want to um interrupt Aman who was talking uh
48:13
welcome you're from Pakistan uh yes there are scholarships for uh Bachelor
48:18
students um like if you have any specific program or country in mind
48:24
maybe like we can help you better uh um Aman do you have anything you want to
48:29
say like you would say could say for bachelor students from Pakistan specifically to them um like maybe
48:37
there's something about the country or you know there's a specific thing you could say about
48:42
that um I don't think there is like in most cases I would say in
48:52
95% uh of scholarships there are no real
48:59
nationality restrictions so anyone can apply um for some there are some
49:05
scholarships that are uh made for certain students from specific countries sometimes it's women
49:12
in TCH sometimes it's students from uh the the global South sometimes it's
49:18
students from South Asia some South East Asia and these scholarships are well
49:23
known you can immediately tell from the name of the scholarship that it is for a
49:29
certain group of people and not others but in general you can a as a a student
49:37
from any country uh you can apply to any scholarship um that's basically a rule
49:45
of thumb that you can go by uh yes uh there would be some scholarships for
49:53
students from Pakistan or South Asia for example and then it would be less
49:59
competitive than a scholarship that is offered to the entire world uh but those
50:06
remain to be uh very few you can go to our website and then you can uh filter
50:12
by nationality you can choose your nationality and then the scholarships where your nationality is mentioned
50:19
specifically will show up first before those that are offered to everyone uh it
50:24
could be with a few other countries it could be with a lot of other countries
50:30
but it it would be theoretically less competitive if you're looking for that
50:36
other than that I advise you to just apply to uh any scholarship the more you
50:41
apply for the better are your chances of getting a scholarship okay thank you very much
50:47
Aman um I'm afraid I cannot really show you much right now because my internet is pretty much dead I don't even know
50:54
how live stream is high sorry up right now like how is this going on still uh
51:01
when my internet does not work at all um um probably it's only your download
51:07
that's affected your upload is fine yeah I'm hang on there is nothing that I'm
51:14
downloading right now uh let me just check just in case nope
51:20
nothing um yeah I will look into this that so uh hang on I don't want to miss
51:27
any questions so um I graduated this year high school but I didn't go to UNI
51:35
so can I apply for BOS I think you are asking for like can I apply for
51:40
scholarships um if you want to apply to graduate like sorry uh bachelor degree
51:47
scholarships yes you can apply when you start the university cannot apply for
51:52
scholarships before um can see if you don't mind B scholarship ship um Alin if
51:58
you are asking for Scholarships in ballus we do not have any of those in
52:03
our um database I believe but if you're asking for like if you are from ballus
52:09
is that if that's your what your question is uh please let me know so we can help you a little better on that um
52:16
looking for postgraduate hang on which one was first Hightech I think Hightech so Hightech ask can we see if these
52:23
scholarships are Merit based or need-based so um yeah there are both of those so
52:30
for example in United States uh there is no filter if you if that's what you are asking we do not
52:36
have a filter for U Merit based or uh need based scholarships um you can like
52:42
you can't see some of them from the name some of them are like Merit Scholarships I guess if you type in Merit here uh
52:51
you'll see some of those but maybe like the first page in our homepage um so for
52:57
example financial aids are need-based these guys um academic Elite
53:03
scholarships like kind of names that have Elite Merit and Etc um those would
53:09
be more like Merit based scholarships uh looking for post-graduate Scholarships in any
53:15
business course I am from Kenya okay so you can uh
53:20
[Music] choose here business
53:27
postgraduate right okay so like if you're asking for a think a masters you
53:33
can look look into these you can choose your nationality usually doesn't really matter um some scholarships can be
53:42
targeted to specific countries
53:49
um yeah these are just for Ev Every Nation so yeah uh these are for business
53:55
like the first ones are business because the business name is mentioned uh but the other ones usually most universities
54:01
I guess uh offer Business program so these would be about like 2,000 of these
54:07
would be available for you these are specifically for business programs though Master scholarship in USA I have
54:13
GPA of 399 uh Humanities Arts fresh avocado before I get to you um I think Aman
54:22
would have a better Insight of like for the question Hightech just asked can we see if these scholarships are Merit
54:28
based or need based Aman do you have any uh anything you want to say about
54:34
that um I think you explained that because we don't have a filter that
54:40
specifically separates Mar based and need-based scholarships but yeah a good way to
54:47
identify them is to look at financial aid or uh some some of them are called
54:53
need-based financial aid and if you go through the eligibility criteria for
55:00
merit based generally uh there is a requirement as
55:06
far as grades are concerned or maybe your language proficiency test score so
55:12
you'll find something about your scores or your GPA or your extracurricular so all of these uh constitute Merit um for
55:22
uh need-based scholarships you would find that the scholarship says uh it
55:29
covers all of the applicants uh demonstrated need for
55:34
example um but it wouldn't go beyond that as far
55:39
as um the eligibility are concerned maybe it will ask for your parents uh
55:46
financial information uh their yearly income so you'll find that in the uh application
55:54
process or the application materials um yeah so those are the ways
56:00
to identify them but it's generally like through Reading it's not really
56:05
through uh a specific filter uh if the scholarship says nothing and it says
56:10
it's offered to all students for example no eligibility criteria then it could be
56:16
Merit based um but there are no uh
56:23
disclosed uh criteria that uh the scholarship or the university uh
56:31
tells the applicants so it's to their to their discretion who they give the scholarships to and that can happen as
56:39
well so sometimes there is no transparency and it would seem like it's need based but it's not it's generally
56:45
very based but the criteria are not disclosed okay thank you very much Aman
56:52
um so hi there Dua casimada uh we I I will come to your question uh in a
56:58
second but fresh asked first Master Scholarships in the USA I have a GP of
57:05
3.99 now on yes like like you can see
57:10
this is the result that we have so for Master's Scholarships in United States
57:19
uh The Graduate assistantships I have to um I have to warn you that graduate
57:25
assistantships are again usually not for like usually they are for PhD students
57:30
if you do not know what a uh graduate assistantship is basically as a graduate
57:36
student you go and work at the University and in turn they like they usually cover your tuition fees partial
57:43
or full most School most uh assistantships cover entirety of tuition fee they give you a living allowance
57:49
health insurance sometimes uh there are a lot of these in the United States basically it's like being employed by
57:55
the university going working for about like 10 or 20 hours a week so like you will see a lot of graduate
58:01
assistantships if you look into this in United States for Masters um but keep in
58:06
mind that also you cannot really depend on them to finance your entire education
58:11
because like to be able to even apply to this uh you would have to go there and start start your education first for
58:18
which you would also need to have funds in the first place so uh you can see our
58:24
results there are other ones as well like this one for example country specific funding and tuition
58:31
scholarships and Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship uh but like I wanted to just
58:37
warn you about The Graduate assistantships um you have 3.99 GPA um
58:45
like which is really good Aman uh what would you say about the fresh avocado
59:00
um Aman are you there um yeah I am so I
59:05
was just uh thinking um yeah for Masters as you
59:12
mentioned that the best way or probably the most available way to get funding is
59:20
assistantships although they're not offered at the time of admission but later on as uh job
59:28
positions um there are M there are scholarships for master students but for
59:36
international students uh in the United States I don't think that there are many
59:42
funding opportunities at the master level
59:47
um your your GPA is good so
59:52
um if it is uh on a scale of four so sometimes the scale is five I'm not
1:00:00
sure what scale that is um scholarships are especially scarce for humanities and
1:00:08
arts they're more available for stem courses so that
1:00:14
is um something that could uh hinder your
1:00:19
chances of getting a scholarship but I I believe that uh at the time I was
1:00:27
working on the database there were some scholarships for specifically for
1:00:33
humanities offered at the humanities um
1:00:38
departments for international students so they are quite hidden sometimes they they are
1:00:46
really not very advertised but they are available
1:00:52
so um I think you have a chance of uh
1:00:57
getting a scholarship if you do extensive research and you devote a lot of time to
1:01:05
it so um hang on [Music]
1:01:11
home um category yes this is now um it
1:01:16
was I believe Dua casimada asked for online free online courses so the problem is
1:01:24
that I don't know how to navigate my way uh in our website to find online
1:01:31
courses um not really all that easy to find but I will share a link with you so
1:01:39
um yes okay let me um share a link in my own live stream which is very generous
1:01:46
of them thank you very much Tik Tok um so we can use that there are a lot of
1:01:52
online like online degrees guides for example like if why am I doing this sorry let just let
1:01:58
me show you on the live stream sorry about that so yeah this is the page uh
1:02:04
as you can see like four best degrees for online Master's degrees in Japan how to apply for online degree programs um
1:02:10
best universities for online Bachelor degrees etc etc so uh there are a lot of
1:02:16
guides about online programs uh daa uh but they are not all
1:02:21
that um visible if I'm being honest on our website if you do not know how to
1:02:28
find them so yeah um just look at those um if anything picks your interest ask
1:02:34
you can ask about them first avocado came up with additional questions do you think it's smart to apply to Home
1:02:40
Country scholarships since I'd have to go back plus to my home country for 2 years to serve here as a full-time
1:02:46
employee uh 399 out of 4 by the way thank you for the answers by the way um
1:02:52
okay so I think probably what Aman will say about this one I'll just like take my
1:02:58
chance uh have a shot here um like going back to your own country after your
1:03:05
education like studying AB Brad is mostly what other countries have in mind
1:03:11
when they accept a like foreign students um he makes that point sometimes like
1:03:18
you like the universities and countries don't really um have in mind to like
1:03:24
bring in people bring foreign students and like have them move there and immigrate uh they like usually want you
1:03:31
to go there have your education and go back to your country uh probably I think
1:03:37
that's that would be my take on this question Aman what is your take um yeah so in this case it just
1:03:46
depends on what is more available or what is more accessible to you because
1:03:55
apparently this scholarship or these scholarships are offered by their home country they're not offered by a foreign
1:04:03
government uh but I think that they there's a contingency to go back to your
1:04:10
uh Home Country who who gave you the scholarship to become a full-time
1:04:16
employee so they're sending you abroad just to get the necessary skills to
1:04:21
serve as a full-time employee and sometimes this is is a great opportunity
1:04:28
if you can find uh funds independently uh through the
1:04:34
university um so either option is good um if I I would say try to uh find
1:04:47
scholarships offered by universities in the United States try to apply for those
1:04:53
and if it doesn't work you can apply for your home country's uh
1:04:59
scholarships you can apply at the same time so it doesn't matter um and then
1:05:04
see which one works for you uh if you don't plan on just having this contracts
1:05:11
with your country to work full-time after you finish your studies you can go for whatever uh the university offered
1:05:20
if not and if this is the best option you have I would say just go for it because it's a this great
1:05:27
experience uh you'd get quality education uh and going back to your home
1:05:34
country is not the end of the world so yeah so it just depends on the outcome
1:05:40
at the end of your scholarship hunt Okay thank you very much I kind of
1:05:47
wanted to like um emphasize that like even if you do not
1:05:52
get a scholarship from your own country but like even if you get H A for from a foreign country a foreign University
1:05:59
like uh some people see it as kind of like kind of like a guaranteed way to go
1:06:05
to another country and stay there uh even though I think they shouldn't um so
1:06:10
like you should keep that like it's not either I will go with a a foreign scholarship and will stay there or I
1:06:17
will go uh with a Homeland uh scholarship and I then I will have to turn uh back so like it's not that
1:06:23
clearcut uh was the point I was trying to make there okay you're very welcome fresh
1:06:31
avocado and correct me if I'm wrong by the way um
1:06:38
am so um yeah I don't see any [Music]
1:06:45
other questions right now on either YouTube or Tik talk so guys if you have
1:06:51
any questions um just shoot them right now otherwise we will kind of end the
1:06:57
live stream here because we are kind of uh nearing our uh the end of our time
1:07:02
limit so yeah this is global scholarships.com once again um we have a
1:07:08
lot of information here uh I just like whenever I look for let's
1:07:14
say what content to make on YouTube let's say like maybe about a schoolarship about a school and Etc I
1:07:22
just use our Search tool it's so intuitive to use so easy to use like I I
1:07:27
can just go uh okay you know what let's let's see the scholarships that are open right now uh so that I can make a video
1:07:34
about them just like let's say bachelors's um and then currently open
1:07:41
well and then let's say I want to make something in ch something about China perhaps boom so yeah we have these ones
1:07:49
that are open right now uh so like it's really really easy to see what uh find
1:07:54
what opportunity there are and Etc I highly advise you to kind of explore it and I think it will be it would be a
1:08:01
very good um way to get used to doing research about schools and scholarships
1:08:09
uh on uh online because like if you are planning to do planning to study abroad
1:08:14
um a lot of like there will be a lot of research online uh about universities
1:08:19
about the scholarships and etc etc so does applying early give you an age and
1:08:24
when you go live uh we go live every week this
1:08:30
hour this day Friday uh 15 p.m.
1:08:36
EST um hang on actually let me see the correct we do like we send uh
1:08:43
announcements every week before like every uh Monday so yeah Friday at the
1:08:49
same hour is what it is yeah GMT sorry what did I say EST yeah GMT 15 GMT um
1:08:57
and does applying early give you an edge Amon what do you think about that I
1:09:03
think so but like yeah I would want to your opinion for some scholarships yes they
1:09:11
are given on a first come first serve basis so students who apply first
1:09:20
uh tend to get the scholarships for others it doesn't really matter
1:09:26
uh although uh early action and
1:09:32
the early decision uh time of application would
1:09:39
have uh certain advantages because they're basically saying that the
1:09:46
university is their first choice which mean which grants them certain uh
1:09:52
Advantage when it comes to uh admiss and the scholarships awarded but it's
1:09:58
not always the case uh other than that I don't think that applying early gives
1:10:06
you uh a certain Advantage because there would be no point of given a deadline of
1:10:14
one month it would be unfair uh from the University to give
1:10:19
students a dead line of one month and then give more uh
1:10:26
opportunities or an advantage to students who apply within the first day it just it doesn't make sense uh unless
1:10:34
state it otherwise it doesn't really give you much of an edge okay thank you very much so father
1:10:42
of Love Yes asks um can I get schoolarship Masters program in medicine
1:10:48
yeah so there are quite a lot of those um
1:10:53
so we have some that specifically mentions medicine like these these ones
1:10:59
in South Korea this is in South Korea these are full Tu full funding full funding full
1:11:04
tuition uh so yeah there are a lot of good scholarships here like specifically for medicine you can look into these
1:11:11
basically by going to Global scholarships.com um like this typing in medicine
1:11:20
here and then choosing Masters
1:11:26
so about about 100 uh like 19900 about 2,000 uh there are many if you want if
1:11:32
you have a specific place in mind to study you can just uh choose that location to let's say maybe you want to
1:11:39
study in Japan about 192 uh you can also choose uh the type
1:11:47
let's say if there are any full funding there are seven full funding scholarships for masters in medison so
1:11:53
yeah and and you can look into these you can just click on them any of those to
1:11:59
go and see about the scholarship like uh from the summary what it covers this
1:12:05
covers half of half of or full to examination admission M stent multi
1:12:11
stens usually do not really um like are not a number that would be enough to
1:12:18
let's say hi this for this is for ma though so yeah we have eligibility criteria here we have application
1:12:25
process here uh deadlines we usually have videos on uh pretty much every
1:12:31
scholarship not every scholarship but most scholarships now um we have clips and then again comment section uh you
1:12:38
can leave any questions that you have and uh he will answer them for you so
1:12:44
yeah that's basically it but there are quite a lot of scholarships like full uh full finding scholarships for Madison
1:12:51
anyway guys thank you very much for joining in we'll end our live stream right now um again we'll be here next
1:12:58
week uh at the same time at the same day uh on Friday um we'll be both on YouTube
1:13:03
and Tik Tok we have a YouTube channel where we share a lot of informative stuff if you're in on Tik Tok right now
1:13:08
you might want to go there which types of scholarships uh can I get links Let Me by by by the program if you
1:13:17
mean uh you know what I'll just share the link with you for Global scholarships and this page uh but you
1:13:24
can just go to glob scholarships.com and our Search tool is completely free to use which types of scholarships uh asks
1:13:32
Hightech are best for Masters EG assistant ships and Etc can you rate
1:13:37
them in order thanks in advance [Music]
1:13:43
um Amon what do you want about what do you think about that uh HZ Z will be Z
1:13:49
will be back to you in a second for Masters um for
1:13:56
Masters I think there are just uh two types scholarships and assistantships I
1:14:03
can think of any other type uh I don't I don't really know what
1:14:10
they mean by type of scholarship then they gave the example of assistantships because then if we're going by that
1:14:19
categorization we would only have assistantships and uh scholarships
1:14:25
um um yeah at least for universities that's all they
1:14:32
offer [Music] um so I would say if if we had to just
1:14:41
order those it would be scholarships than assistantships because you're not guaranteed an assistantship at the time
1:14:48
of admission as opposed to a scholarship uh yeah uh if you have any
1:14:55
other types in mind uh would you please share them with us other than that I'm not
1:15:02
sure uh how we can help you order the types of scholarships uh generally
1:15:08
need-based scholarships are mostly offered for undergraduate
1:15:14
students uh I haven't seen many for Masters so it I think it's the same
1:15:21
person who asked about need and Merit based yeah so yeah most Master's uh
1:15:27
scholarships are merry based not to say all of them okay thank you very much H HZ thank
1:15:34
you for your gifts you're very generous hey I stumbled upon your account I'm a
1:15:40
fourth year student what are my options I want Finance so I think um are you
1:15:46
fourth year student in um University or high school like bachelor's like fourth
1:15:51
year of your bachelor's or high school I think we can like let's assume University okay right
1:15:59
uh and they want Finance uh what do you think Amon what would you say for for
1:16:07
this um so what are your options in terms of uh
1:16:13
scholarships it all depends on your grades
1:16:18
uh that's basically the the main thing your academic
1:16:26
achievements in general uh make a lot of difference when it comes to the
1:16:31
scholarships at the Masters level it is basically the level where studies are
1:16:38
more serious they're more uh Merit oriented so if you have
1:16:46
good grades and if you have a good GPA and just a good track record uh you have
1:16:53
good chances of getting scholarships um
1:17:00
so it also depends on the country you want to study in there are many many
1:17:05
options uh it just you just need to narrow it down for us in order for us to
1:17:11
be able to help you okay um Anissa says I am a second
1:17:17
year computer engineer student turkey what scholarships am I eligible for uh
1:17:23
manissa going from your name name I think you are not from Turkey uh perhaps
1:17:28
like are you coming like are you studying turkey coming from another country perhaps um so what scholarships
1:17:37
am I eligible for I don't think there are that many um scholarships
1:17:43
for like second year students I believe like if you are planning to start over from a pro like uh from a start from
1:17:53
start to a program from zero uh the first year like obviously can apply to pretty much all scholarships but um I
1:18:00
think for second years ien what do you think that I think there are some scholarships that they can apply for um
1:18:09
but like how many would you say like how easy would that be it would be for them
1:18:15
to find a scholarship do you think in computer engineering um also sorry but Ana if you can if you can give us like
1:18:22
inform us whether you are looking for a school in turkey or any other country like as a transfer student uh hey there
1:18:29
explore me um and we have user something something will be back to you in a
1:18:35
second after we um answer anissa's question yes back to you it's always
1:18:42
tricky for second year students and the best advice I can give
1:18:48
you is to just finish your bachelor's degree uh or whatever Institution
1:18:54
you're at and then go for a master's degree uh yeah so I think that that's
1:19:02
the best way to go about it there there are scholarships for incoming
1:19:08
International students so students who are first time uh first year
1:19:13
students and then there are scholarships for master students as well so all for
1:19:20
incoming students although there are scholarships for
1:19:25
current students but those already study at the University so it's rare that you
1:19:31
find scholarships for transfer students um abroad so the best way is to
1:19:40
either apply for first year undergraduate or first year Masters these are those are the best time for
1:19:49
application and that's the best time to get scholarships and the best best time
1:19:55
like within that is the fall semester so fall semester first year undergraduate
1:20:02
or first year Masters that's what you should go for okay thank you very much so okay we
1:20:10
have quite a number of questions right now even though we really need to uh end our Liv stream so let's um answer them
1:20:19
quickly uh perhaps what I mean to say is assistantships being fully funded but you need to work for the uni whereas
1:20:25
partially funded without doing anything if I get an assistantship I have to work along my education whereas with partial
1:20:31
funded I can focus on my education so like I think your question is whether uh
1:20:37
going for a partial scholarship and focus on my education or go for a for an
1:20:42
assistantship and like a fully funded but um I can like uh I have to work I
1:20:49
think it would depend on your ability to like if you can go like you can Finance
1:20:55
yourself with a partial uh partially funded scholarship I think that would be the best way to do it uh so like because
1:21:02
even there are other fully uh funded scholarships maybe let's leave those to
1:21:07
people who cannot even who cannot Finance themselves even with partial um scholarships um on the other hand like
1:21:15
if that also depends on whether you can go through your education um while
1:21:21
working for like 10 hours 20 hours but usually um universities put those
1:21:26
numbers like limit like 20 that limit at 20 hours because uh usually students can
1:21:32
do that and can like work for 20 hours because 20 hours not that much it would
1:21:37
be a part-time job um uh in a let's say coffee shop anyway uh so yeah basically
1:21:45
that they limit it there because most students I guess would be able to do that like both do both of them um Aman
1:21:53
what would you say in like very short uh an in a very short answer for
1:21:59
this um yes so it's basically what you said and as far as assistantships are
1:22:05
concerned you're teaching the program you're specializing in so you're just
1:22:11
solidifying knowledge about your program which means that you're studying at the same time and uh they say that well it's
1:22:20
just the saying that the best way to learn is to teach and when you teach you're learning a lot at the same time
1:22:26
so you're not really uh wasting time teaching at the expense of uh your own
1:22:32
studies you're doing both at the same time and you're getting paid for it uh so I would say that assistantships in
1:22:40
that regard are way better than scholarships um and uh yeah so part for partial
1:22:48
scholarships you would have to work anyway so there there is no point maybe
1:22:53
for full to I would get it but for partial scholarships uh you would need a
1:22:59
job at the same time and the job wouldn't really involve your program
1:23:04
which means that you better go for assistantships at that
1:23:09
point okay thank you very much uh CU we are talking about
1:23:14
scholarships and studying abroad um so let's go through other scholarship qua Prince and explore me
1:23:22
we'll get back to you there's uh you something something uh I just graduated
1:23:28
with a master's degree and I'm looking into another Master's or perhaps a PhD what options do I have for a fully
1:23:33
funded Masters in MBA or PhD in architecture I will advise you to use
1:23:39
our search Tool uh so looking to PhD again uh Masters MBA PhD in
1:23:48
architecture you can just type in architecture uh and choose the subject
1:23:53
and see your um options here you can just filter through uh you can just use our Search
1:24:00
tool I'm going to because we are limited in time I'll move on to our other questions in YouTube
1:24:07
so uh explore may ask first uh yes I'm talking about the student that haven't
1:24:14
done hssc and have only SSC so they ask uh is there any program
1:24:21
for school student and then they say say I'm talking about the student that haven't done
1:24:27
hssc and have only SSC I do not understand that question Aman perhaps
1:24:33
you can um clarify it better for us like
1:24:39
if if you understand it uh yeah I'm not aware of those
1:24:46
degrees they should be specific to a certain country um
1:24:54
so I I I have really never heard of those if you could tell us about the
1:25:00
equivalent maybe we could help youh uh okay but yeah I have never heard
1:25:08
of if there are degrees uh High School degrees I have never heard of okay thank
1:25:13
you very much maybe explore me if you can give us a better uh like description
1:25:19
of them um CA says are you aware of Excellence Master Fellowship Master Fellowship at the University of gen
1:25:25
Geneva so I think let me see [Music]
1:25:32
um Geneva didn't we do a video on that
1:25:38
uh Excellence Masters Fellowship okay yes so this is It's on on our
1:25:46
website scholarship let me share the link with you CA um
1:25:55
so we can go through this I think maybe you know we have not done a video about
1:26:01
this one so basically it's for all nationalities archaeology astrophysics these programs it's partial funding so
1:26:08
it gives you some amount of money um well the university is actually usually
1:26:14
in Switzerland um uh the tution fees are not high as you can see it's just like
1:26:21
$1,000 and Etc that type of deal uh but living there would be quite expensive so
1:26:26
I'm not sure if this would be enough by itself uh you would need to find uh
1:26:31
additional funds and as you can see uh Switzerland is especially Geneva is one
1:26:37
of the most expensive places in the world it would take about let's choose
1:26:44
dollars uh about like 2,000 maybe even $3,000 including the rent so yeah it
1:26:50
would be that's every month by the way um Aman do you want to say anything think about this scholarship in like
1:26:56
maybe one or two sentence um yeah sure I think it's enough to cover your living expenses for
1:27:05
a year if the if the tuition fees are a th000 uh I think 15,000 Swiss Franks are
1:27:13
equivalent to around 16,000 e and probably like
1:27:19
18,000 USD so it would cover like one year yeah yeah so one academic year so
1:27:26
not the entire full months but probably the eight months that you study so it's
1:27:32
a good scholarship that would actually although it's uh partial funding in
1:27:38
theory but it acts like a fully funded scholarship uh okay so uh Prince asks
1:27:47
was this stream going to be available win and yes uh you can watch this as VOD these are uh there for you to watch
1:27:55
anytime you want okay I don't see any other questions now I like we really
1:28:00
need to end the live stream uh thank you everyone for joining our live stream if you're watching this on VOD thank you
1:28:07
very much for watching and thank you aan for joining me today for this live
1:28:15
stream thank you for having me S okay well everyone see you next week
1:28:22
uh next Friday at the same hour here both on YouTube and Tik Tok and have a
1:28:27
nice week bye
