In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we question what it really means to be a saint."The term saint is a Latinised way of referring to God's holy people, which might not help too much because Holy seems an equally churchy word."Holy simply means something that is set apart for a special purpose. Perhaps you've got special jewellery or clothes that you only use on special occasions. God's saints are those who've been set apart by God, members of his special family, which in the Bible is all who belong to Christ."Many churches apply the name saint principally to those who've been recognised as especially embodying this holiness, this likeness to Jesus."
